This place was great and very consistent, and was our go-to chippy down here in Gulf Harbour. But recently it has subtly changed owners around December 2019. The menu is exactly the same and nothing has changed outwardly, but the difference in the standard of the food is noticeable, unfortunately. Sadly, this won't be our go-to fish and chips any more. Changing rating from 5 stars to 3.
A. T.Arrived and my order was given to someone else. It’s your average fish and chips, nothing amazing. Fish portion was small (and cold), chips are soft but burgers taste nice. It’s your everyday fish and chips takeaway.

S. H.Best chips I think I’ve ever had! They’re so crispy and salty, there can be really long wait times and the younger staff can often be quite stressed out. I would recommend calling in advance so you don’t have to wait! But either way the food is worth the wait!

E.Had fish and chips from here yesterday. Ordered 2 pc fish, kumara chips and spring roll ... When it arrived it didn't look like enough for both of us so ordered scoop of chips as well.. It seems expensive for the amount you get but trust me... It was definitely enough for 2 people to eat and not feel over full and yuck afterwards. (like back in the day when portion sizes were huge and cheap). The food was cooked really well, crispy fish and chips. Kumara chips not crispy but that's how they generally turn out anyway. Still delicious!

M.We stopped here 4 lunch they didn't have a fish meal but they had bacon eggs and chips we asked if we could have a fish instead of bacon and they were very accommodating thumbs up was enough 4 me but not my partner he ended up ordering a snapper burger which he enjoyed probably wouldn't go back again
