R. A.Had a lovely lunch outside enjoying the view. Really enjoyed the fresh flavours. The service was fast and friendly. Lovely restaurant and ambience, worth looking around. You can even pop up for a coffee and Danish. Visit the toilets to enjoy the artwork.

We are vegetarians and everything we try was a beautiful explosion of flavours… The restaurant is beautiful, the ambient is great, all the smiles, Love it. S.My family had a really nice brunch here! The menu is pretty inclusive with lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. I forgot to take a photo of my meal for the review but I got the vegan spiced mushroom dish and it was so nice! I also had fries with vegan aioli and a flat white with oat milk - also really good! The service was a little chaotic being very busy and a relatively new cafe, so even the staff are still learning what the menu items are - but everyone was super friendly.
M. H.Party of three had lunch and desserts. All the dishes were superb - risotto, mushrooms and gnocchi! Desserts divine. Great views and service. Would recommend booking an inside table if raining as we got dripped on. Appreciated being able to book a table. Would definitely visit again.
L. M.Such an amazing and creative space. Loved the soft-shell crab and the rabbit for dinner! Awesome to see this beautiful establishment in Whangarei. The brickwork on the ramp is my favourite part of the building. And what a view of the harbour!

J. V.Went there for dinner tonight and boy am I happy we did. The food service was incredibly fast, and every one of the 3 cocktails, 2 entrees, 5 mains and 3 desserts were beyond amazing. Will definitely have to go back again to try the rest of the dinner menu, and again to try the day time menu! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Overall our family had a wonderful experience.

J. H.The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately the service is lacking. Visiting Whangarei from Auckland we decided to support this new business twice during our holiday. During our first visit our food took 45 minutes to arrive and then our coffees were served after our food, which were lukewarm.
On our second visit we ordered some danishes and muffins. After 15 minutes wait our waitress informed us that there were no pastries left. However, tables that placed their orders after us received pastries.
Food is average, but nothing to write home about. Lots of vegan options.
Also, you might want to check your receipt when paying. We ordered 2 rounds of coffees. Our second round of coffees was more expensive than the first. The price went up by 11 cent per coffee
Overall average, you might want to check out one of the other cafes in the area.
L. D.I was disappointed with our dinner after hearing so many positive reviews. The menu had a lot of options including vege & vegan, and our mains were quite nice but really not worth the price. All 3 deserts were underwhelming. Service wasn't bad , but the front of house maitre'd type man was pretty off-hand. I might return for a snack one day, but definitely not dinner.
L. B.Absolutely fabulous lunch for 5 today. Great menu with beautifully presented meals at just right portion sizes. Only negative was that we had to wait a bit for drinks and after first 3 glasses arrived, the remaining 2 guests were told they had sold out of their wine choices. We then had a further wait to raise a toast until updated order was delivered. Other than that, WOW, will definitely be returning soon.

A. L.On the upside, staff were attentive and helpful, awesome decor, great air con on a hot night. Food was average, all plates we saw and had ,were large meat portions with vegetables garnish ie pork dish was advertised with creamed spinach, there was a dessert spoon full. You need to order vegetable sides for a balanced meal. Flavours were ok but nothing special . Wine list is good. Main concern was not following covid rules, staff masks being pulled down by front of mask to speak to diners, definitely no distance between tables, very crowded. They did scan passports diligently. We won’t go back until pandemic settles but wish them well.

L. E.Stopped in here this morning for a cuppa and a muffin to share. Drinks and muffin arrived quickly. I'm pretty excited to see a whole vegan page on their menu. I'll definitely be back for a full meal to try out the vegan offerings.
p. S.Five of us went for lunch, was ok not outstanding, was expecting more after great reviews. However, just a heads up, DO NOT order the beef salad, was a massive plate of boring coleslaw with a few bits of inedible beef squares, very tough, presentation unappealing,. They did reduce the price on our comments which was great, but over $30 for coleslaw was not worth it. I had the lamb salad and that was nice.
