Broo, wait time is longer than any other store in NZ I swear I sat in the drive through for 60 mins before I even got to order. 2 cars pulled out , the food though was great as always .

To be honest, I’m not the Burger King kind of guy, but I wanted to try the rebel one. And guess what, the taste was amazing, also for meat lovers, this one taste so delicious, you can’t believe there’s no meat.

The shop was busy but, the crew were a well oiled machine and I wasn't waiting long at all, the the staff member who served me apologised for the wait with a smile, I replied "No, that's fine, I can see you guys are very busy but, you've got it under control, well done". She smiled again, thanked me and handed me my order. Smiling to a customer while under pressure is something that is hard to teach. I felt she was happy to serve me which made my meal more enjoyable. I live in the Far North and we don't have a Burger King outlet up here, I look forward to calling in again.

Tried the new plant-based burger, 'The Rebel Burger' and it is amazing! The 'burger' has a delicious, flavourful taste, a burger-like texture with a wonderful sauce, crisp lettuce and white onion pieces. It's as good, if not better than most burgers IMHO.

The staff at the burger king in Whangarei was extremely good and helpful. At the time we were there it was very busy but still took the time out to help us with the grandchildren and it was as clean as it could be with the amount of people that were there it was full.

The service was good but the chips weren't hot and my husbands burger looked as if it was thrown together by a 3yr old. His patty was all in pieces so when he picked it up to take a bite, all the bits of patty fell out.

I am a huge burgerking fan and always will be. I will say that this time when my partner and i got dinner the onion rings were almost stale. They were room temperature and kind of chewy as if they had been sitting for awhile. In saying that the staff were friendly and the king mesty burger was amazing. I have only had the onion ring problem once.

Prompt and efficient staff. Standard menu had a supplementary menu with some new variations -that I tried and slightly enjoyed. Crispy chicken burger, I think was the menu item, but it was a mushy fritter. Easy parking. Clean environment and restaurant. Toilets OK.

During our travels this is one stop we always make every single time. Personal favorite is Chicken Bacon Meaty. Diet Coke tastes a bit weird so it's better to stick with the normal one. Restrooms are relatively clean. Staff is very friendly even at the end of their shift. Even when you are undecided and are not able to make a decision they don't get annoyed.

Prompt and pleasant service. Yummy fresh burger however the chips were cold. As a clean freak thought the standard of cleanliness was very low. Build up around the base of the stools,walls were grubby and the toilets needed a clean. Otherwise a pleasant visit.

Bought a double whopper there on a road trip back to Auckland from Coopers Beach and man, it was the best burger I've ever tasted! I've eaten a lot of burgers from BK and other places (cheap to gourmet) but this one was so fresh, juicy and stacked. Even my gluten free wife had to have a few bites (of the contents, not the bun)

Drive through only after a certain time and drive thru has clearance of 2.6m so larger campervans won't fit but they may accommodate and serve you anyway if you let them know you can't get through. Great burger king and helpful after hours!!

Only problem is I was once really hungry but had to go to the servo next door to buy a snack because BK doors were closed and only drive-thru was open and I wasnt sure if drivethru would serve me without a car. So please extend opening hours for the hungry car-less customers ☺

Quick service, as is with fast food places, they had alot of cheeseburgers with mayo sitting in the burger warmer, when i asked why so many burgers were sitting there like that, her response was "they are really popular" However, our server was lovely, tidy appearance & friendly

Very Fast serivce form Buger King and The Staff were very Friendly as they were taking my order. I highly recommend their sundaes as they have a very different selection to their rivals McDonald's. And they have some very nice Frozen flacours as well. Definitely will be returning on my next trip to Whangarei

Hmmm. It's BK. What can I say. The food is presented as a middle of the road "filler". The premises inside feel "sterile" bright fluorescent lights, bench seats that look like they could be hosed down at the end of the night to clean them. Ambience for dine-in would be -5 out of +10 ie. below zero !

Fast service, busy place, crowded both sides of counter and noisey. You lose sight of your order at the pick up space, cos you stand away and to the side waiting for your meal, if it's busy, drink machine is in the way. There should be a service lane or a chain to separate pick up lane.
