L.Great friendly staff in the restaurant all around. The chefs steak was amazing with pepper sauces. Quick delivery on food. Hotel was convenient next door so not far to go as was attached. Large seated area indoor and outside, nice music playing and up beat staff. Would 100% recommend and go there again.
D.Kai (food) was really good! Atmosphere was pleasant and the waitress was lovely. I love kai that is hot and tasty. Steak was cooked perfectly and my lamb!!! 🤤🤤 falling off the bone 🍖and the gravy was rich in flavour. Will definitely be back.

R.What an wonderful restaurant - staying at the adjacent hotel for our anniversary, we were greeted at our dinner reservation by 2 glasses of bubbles. So incredibly thoughtful and sweet! Our food was amazing, service outstanding - what a venue and team. We'll be back, and letting all we know what a fantastic place this is in our own backyard!
A.Amazing place, best kept secret in Onerahi. Quiet, relaxed environment with delicious food. I've never been disappointed with my meal, even when I'm being a little adventurous with my food choice.
C.7 of us had entrees and mains, plus a couple had dessert- everyone's meals were amazing and were a very generous size.

J.Don't often do reviews. But flames deserves the attention. What an outstanding dining experience we had tonight. The service was top notch, the meal it self was incredible, couldn't fault it at all. We will most definitely be back to sample more of the menu. Keep up the good work team.

A.Absolutely awesome. Not wat I was expecting from whangarei but very impressed. Place is tidy and ground well maintained. Food was good and drambuie 1of my favs. Which on Anzac I was very great full they had it. Great hosts & friendly staff that chatted with me why I sat at their bar. Wonderful experience will be back next time I'm up here.
N.Lovely food with the new menu. Nice restaurant. It just needs some background music to give it more ambience. There was none playing when we went there. Other than that it was excellent.
F.Like lots of restaurants this place has amazing food and service. BUT what I love about this place is that the background music is just that - background. It is not blaring. My Mum (aged 85) is hard of hearing and here you can have a conversation without yelling at each other. When we take Mum out we intentially choose places where we can converse with each other. This is one of them.
