C.Burger meat was a little dry, (maybe been made a lot ealier?) but a good wait time in the drive through and nice and friendly staff.

J.My first McDonald's outside Australia and it did not disappoint. There is a slight difference in taste, that is however down to NZ Beef vs Aus Beef. Otherwise a very similar menu with some surprising uniquely NZ items.
Next time i visit the Whanau I'm absolutely stoping in again.
N.Friendly in the odd hours. Wishing they were home asleep but there they are with a smile and a giggle. Awesome girls. 20/20.

J.First visit after the Covid reopening and wow what a fantastic team! They were so helpful and my coffee was just about perfect. I'll definitely call in again next time I'm out that way and need coffee.
G.I was served quickly & in a friendly manner at the drive through. I ordered a coffee & fries, which were - as usual - delicious. Fries weren't hot, though the coffee was.

M.I really only go into McDonald's for the fries and over the past few years, the 'large' has gotten smaller and smaller, to the point where it's only 1/4 full. This is across various stores. Was pleasantly surprised when my medium and large fries came overfilled!
The only thing is they aren't as salty as I like but lots of salt is bad anyway. Everything else was good, pretty standard.

A.Popular McDs gets very busy but staff seem to cope well under pressure. Food typical of other McDs. McDs can be expensive for low income families.

C.Dirty! Really friendly staff and the food is well presented not slapped together. But the tables were so gross, they get cleared but obviously not wiped down, the floor was also slippery in the greasy kind of way.
L.I am able to eat their fries as they do not cross-contaminate their fryers like most fast food places. Which leaves their fries Gluten-Free :)
C.It's a good place. Good food but sometimes the food takes a bit longer
D.Ordered a big mac bacon combo large. Got order drove off had no bacon? Went back explained and they gave my son a free combo with bacon. Was very pleased have never done that before. I just wanted them to know what had happened.

J.I have a suggestion - it has bugged me right from the start, for all mcdonalds restaurants - please put 3 butter portions in with the hotcakes - 3 hotcakes should = 3 butter.
M.While visiting NZ about 8 days in, all I wanted was a fountain drink. Quick stop at this place. Staff was crazy friendly to two Texans.
P.Too much if u dont eat the buns u could loose heaps of wait. Try it
L.The dining area was disgusting. Food scraps everywhere, tables dirty, spilt drinks on tables and floors, rubbish bins overflowing. We had to clean our own table to be able to sit down. Saw another guy get a cloth from staff to wipe the mess off his table so he could eat. Unbelievable!

S.McDonalds is McDonalds except this place is always super busy. And it's so weird that they make you wait in the waiting bay in the drive thru even if you're the only car in there and they bring the food out as soon as you've managed to wangle your car into the park. 🤷♂️
C.Best McDonald's store for service and quality of food in Whangarei. Would have been a 5 star but the drive thru is ridiculous with a waiting zone that can really only fit a moped in it otherwise holds up other vehicles trying to get out.
A.The service was fast and easy. The meal itself was not rushed so it looked well made and tasted nice. One of my more pleasant maccas experiences.

The service was fantastic and everything just so awesome .5stars and more for the great service with a smile all around. My grandson and I enjoyed a lovely morning out for breakfast. So people if you are in NORTHLAND visit this gorgeous yummy place and enjoy in KAMO.

Just as with every Maccas using the drive thru, check that everything's there.
I.There are three McDonald's in Whangarei. Regent, Raumanga and Kamo. They used to be absolutely useless however Kamo McDonald's has seemed to have picked up the game. It is what it is however at least the orders are accurate, the service is friendly and orders are filled in a timely fashion. Raumanga McDonald's sadly has none of these attributes. I highly recommend Kamo McDonald's but recommend you bypass raumanga McDonald's at all costs.
