M.No customer service only those stupid machines to place your order which are a nightmare to use, heaven forbid how older people get order placed.
Go back to person to person orders over the counter..don't be cheapskates McDonald's.. put ya money where ya mouth is and get back to good service instead of profits.
S.For what it is under these unprecedented times. Love taking my kids here pre-covid due to the way its laid out. Now I just appreciate Ronald for his frozen cokes.
S.It is a great pity that KIWI burgers are off the menu. I would go there a lot more often than twice a year.
K.Beautiful place to have a good breakfast, lunch and dinner with friends and family and enjoy your stay. Lots of choice and great service for the friendly staff members. Good restaurants for all your needs and budget. Opening hours are good and there is plenty parking space available for you to enjoy.

S.Not in any hurry to go back. Nothing particularly wrong with the food, but it was pretty tasteless. In fairness, l think my tastebuds have changed over the years.

K.Plenty of parking and friendly staff, there are a few order menu boards around so you don't wait to long and they deliver your order to your table.
1.It's just a normal McDonald's, it has a nice playground if you have children, other than that it's just a generic McDonald's.
T.It's an iconic place to go when hungry and the service is 9 times out of 10 stellar so, 5 stars 🌟

P.Very pleasantly surprised. Ever now and then I come back to Maccas, usually to be disappointed. This time it was different. My ‘THE BOSS - BURGER’ was very nice, fries were very good and my drink was full to the brim. Speed of service was exceptional. Staff was friendly, the young lady handing me the eftpos machine could have done with a smile. That missing smile would have made the experience 5 stars.

A.Had a coffee and a custard tart. The food and service was superb. A perfect spot to meet with friends and a drink .
J.Went for breakfast for the first time in ages and it was amazing!! I had the breakfast hunger buster with a large chai for $15 - good value I think. The restaurant itself was spotless, smiling staff and table service! I'm definitely going again.
S.Took my 3 year olds there for their birthday they loved it, great play area quick friendly service, but the tables were quite dirty... disappointing during a pandemic. Otherwise good.
J.Staff are friendly and helpful. The self service drink machines are pretty choice. Social distancing was exceptable and they have a menu computer that bills you prior to dining. Four stars. Thank you McDonalds.
S.We ordered at the kiosk and asked for table delivery. The food arrived very fast.... Maybe two minutes. The coffee took a bit longer. The same thing happened on another visit the next day. The toilets were really clean, too. Five stars. It was great.
L.Boys had a load of fun in the playground. Only downside is that we paid for 2 toys and when we check up on it, they had run out of toys so just gave us books without checking if we'd like a refund. Service could have been better if it was done with a smile as well. 😃
H.Twice in a short time we have travelled to Whangarei and stopped here and twice now the food was not good. First time the chips weren't nice at all, warm and very soggy and today I ordered an Americas Cup crispy fish burger. In the picture the fish was in what looked like batter, mine came crumbed and very over cooked almost burnt, so the fish was very dry and tasteless. Very disappointing.

L.Usually okay. Closes kinda early for a main street, main town maccas imo. Had a quarter pounder which was just two thin paddy's squished together... so wasnt impressed. Wasnt spiced so tasted like just oil..

T.I can't believe how fast and efficient these Mc Donald drive through a are in Whangarei.In Auckland if there are a lot of cars it takes ages to get your meal. I know I used to go every frid for my son. I used to cringe. Not here they don't muck around and they don't stuff up your order either.
K.Became intoxicated at the local newword and got jumped on and knocked out by some charming men in Ronald McDonald costumes on my way out I woke up in thier kitchen with my kidneys removed but i am happy to know they were given to a good cause!
R.Good place to eat in ,but they are a little bit relaxed with there food presentation,maybe only certain staff members but otherwise liked my visit here

A.I've been to this restaurant numerous times and have always found it to be clean and they have fantastic service. All meals I've had here have been spot on - made fresh and exactly as you would expect. Drive-thru orders are handled swiftly even at peak times. Staff are courteous and efficient. I highly recommend this McDonald's restaurant.
K.Normally is good, food is hot enough and coffee is good but they often forget to put serviette in bag.

S.As McDonald's Stores go, this one is good. The service is quick and efficient, there is a McCafè and there is a comfortable seating area which is generally clean. The food is similar to the pictures. The only real problem is that 'McDonald's aftertaste' that stays for hours, no matter what you have eaten. Some people might like that. Not me.
O.very good experience highly recommend going. Could improve food quality more though.
T.Great coffee.. My big mac had way too much sauce and the top bun slide around..i them know though. Hopefully they passed it on to the stressed chef.. Haha. Very clean.
N.The service at this particular McDonalds was above average. Freindly staff and a hygenic premises left me smiling knowing I was in a franchise that actually gives a stuff about it's customers wellbeing.
The food was great quality by comparrison to other branches around NZ so overall it gets 4stars.

J.Clean, spacious with ample parking, free WiFi and clean toilets facilities. The food was served fast and staff service was good. The restaurant has less than 5 customers when we were here for dinner on Sunday. Drive thru is available.
M.Staff seemed to be under pressure - 1 lady in the McCafe area asking for help but told by another staff member "I'm on my break" and others walking/standing around. Coffee was nice, and hot. No almond milk, most other Maccas have this now. Wife's mcchicken looked like it had been thrown in the wrapper. Ok time but have been to better.
M.Coffee and food lovely. Staff need to listen. Had to tell them our order three times. Was charged incorrect items and refunded by a Manager. Not very fast at sorting.

S.Only a 2 min drive from the town centre. Cafe is beautifuuky positioned so that you an lounge n watch the world go by as you enjoy your coffee.

S.Toilets were clean. We only went there for coffee as we don't eat junk food and don't like to encourage the meat eating. The soy milk cappuccino was good!
G.Clean tidy, a elderly customer who appeared to be a regular customer was having trouble when using his card the difficulty was making the gentleman uncomfortable, my thought was allow him to have his coffee and let pay next time or wait until and try before he leaves totally unnecessary for him to fell uncomfortable cheers

The restaurant can look slightly dirty, but mainly due to so many customers.
v.Friendly staff and it was clean. There is a playground but I thought it would be better suited for older children. My baby is one and I would of had to climb in the tunnels to get him out
H.Let's not kid ourselves, the food isn't an amazing piece of cuisine, it isn't high standard/quality, and it isn't healthy, but it is quick, hot food, and if there is only one thing it does, it fills the gap. Though recently found out this one is more expensive than other ones which is a pain, so 3 stars.
I.No different to any other McDonald's, handy though if you need fast food.

A.Wide variety of food. As with all McDs Can be an expensive meal with food portions (buns, sundaes, chicken pieces etc seeming to get smaller)

A.Thank you for this opportunity to say how impressed I am with the Bank St McDonald's. The way that lovely lady keeps it so beautifully clean, it's a pleasure to visit.
Alas this is not so with the Otaika business which I would like to frequent when I visit Bunnings. But it is anything but clean! Floors or tables! So sad as this is a business where so many tourists would stop at as they pass by and all too often missing Whangarei all together.
The service at Otaika needs improvement too. This is quite a different culture but plenty of room for those young ones to learn and grow in.
I trust this is helpful and I hope that next time I brave the Otaika Macca's I will be pleasantly surprised.

r.I use to go to McDonald's whangarei nearly every night until I purchased my new van and found that the height restriction in the drive through was to low for my van, I now go to McDonald's in Raumanga where the height restriction is 2.7m

D.It's Macca's of course. Highly automated fast foods. Clean and tidy. Free wifi & a McCafe. Self-ordering systems are constantly not printing order slips so I won't use them now and choose ordering at the counter instead.
