R.Went to see what all the fuss was about. We ordered the fried & grilled chicken, fried pickles, cornbread & cherry cobbler with a Long Island iced tea to wash it down. The winners were the cornbread and the Long Island ice tea (which was very long indeed). I wasn’t a huge fan of the grilled chicken but the fried chicken took us to flavour town. The portion sizes aren’t huge, so don’t order the chicken expecting a bucket of KFC; in saying that, the serving was enough to fill up a 90kg male, so take that as you will.
S.We went for dinner, this place has so much potential. With some work this place could be one of the best places in town. We found it didn't live up to the "American comfort food and beer" vibe. All it needs is some good music playing instead of silence, some warmth to the venue instead of orange water vapor, heartier portions and more decent beer on tap. Really nice staff and cool interior! Clean toilets and good quality plates/cutlery.

M.Lunch today , staff friendly , place empty on a thursday apart from 2 family's and me . Waiter I think filled my glass with water as soon as i sat down and took the other glasses away ( since i was by myself) but did not give me a menu or take a drink order and I had to flag another staff member down with a big waving arm to get a menu . Food was nice but portions were medium not too big but not too small either . Yeah I had a good time , everything was good .
L.We had a big table last night for a Xmas do but surprisingly we weren't asked to produce our vax passport when entering. Great meal again but the air-con unit and fans really need to be working in this heat. If Roost is going to be open to un-vaxxed, we won't be back. They really need to let people know when booking.
D.Food was ok however the acoustics are awful. When it gets busy you can hear the person next to you, but not at the two away. This results in raised voices which becomes difficult as the place fills up.
J.Great service and atmosphere. Three of the four orders were amazing, the dirty philly was thought to lack flavour. HOWEVER this is only a minor critique and we enjoyed our lunch greatly!
