What a great little place. We stayed at the campsite up the road. Popped into to order our takeaway dinner. The ladies were so friendly. I loved that we could have a glass of wine while we waited for our food and it was ready in no time. Good fish and chips too.

Went for dinner, chicken burger was amazing, other members of our group said the beef patty in their burger was discusting, has yuck herbs and spices in it. Id say that needs to be worked on as it's not nice, other than that, great place.

Heard amazing things about this place, went for lunch. Was alright. $10 for a piece of fish was a huge let down. It was frozen not fresh 😕 was informed it was frozen but im sorry it wasnt that big a piece. Not worth $10 maybe advertise the price of the fish. Cant understand how you change your prices daily?

Getting to Baylys beach late afternoon to stay at the local campsite, we went to the local fish and chips shop as they were the only option, not expecting too much of it. What a good surprise. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful. The setting is nice, quite cosy. And the food was really good. Definitely a place to have lunch or diner at ...

I would enjoy it if their kitchen was not hidden behind a great black sheet. The cacophony of noises from the other side is slightly disconcerting, as are the scratch wounds and bite marks on the servers. Despite these apparently intense cooking conditions, the food is top notch. Just what you would expect. Good 'straunt.

I really like the food there, I just spend one night in a campsite close to this place. I would to stay longer just to try more dishes. The price also very convenient and the portion were big. I tried pan fried fish which was gunnard (I ordered snapper, but were sold out) with roasted Kumara and my husband ordered ribs. Everything delicious and very fresh. They have a good selection of beers as well.

Burger of chicken, bacon & avocado was a little sparse of the said 'chicken & avocado' but tasty enough. Chips were dry. My flatwhite weak & I only had a couple of mouthfuls. Service good. Parking outside. I probably wouldn't bother going again, previous reviews had been good, but not for me this time.

Helpful busy staff and good food for the only place to eat in Baylys Beach. A real seaside feel good place to drop in with sand on your feet. If your not in the zone by the time you've spent a day at the beach and drop in here perhaps you need to get away more often and chill out😊meals, takeaways, indoor and outdoor for large groups it meets the needs for this great holiday with friends and family.
