Had an amazing dinner here. There was nothing I could fault. The fish was perfectly cooked, the cheesecake the perfect amount of sweet vs tart. The staff were all lovely, helpful but not in ya face Will definitely return.

A very warm welcome from the front of staff, was able to select where we sat, then was clearly advised of the days specials of a great cross selection of food. Our meals arrived punctually and was of a high standard and were reasonably priced. If you have not been to the Split Bar & Restaurant I suggest you give it a try, we certainly will return on our next visit to Whangarei.

First time there on the 4th Jan 2022 from Hamilton such an awesome feel to the place, staff were pretty friendly and omg the food was to die for 👌if your ever in Whangarei it is definitely a must try type of place hands down you will not be disappointed 👍

Splits is the Picasso of the food world. Hadn't been to Split before, so we arrived for dinner on a Wednesday evening. I prefer lunches as dinners at Restaurants are usually disappointing as food is usually over priced & service slow but this is definitely was NOT the case with Split. We were warmly welcomed & instantly whisked to our table. With a drink in one hand & the menu in the other we were spoilt for choice. We had a Mèzze platter for an entree. & I had the seafood chowder (a entree) as a main & the other half had tender beef short rib main. The Mezze was filled with delicious nibbles & abundant crackers & breads .Seafood chowder was simply divine & the beef cooked to perfection . We just couldn't eat all the Mezze (not from want of trying) & only made it halfway through our mains we were just so full. Our wonderful waiter volunteered to pack all the left overs in boxes to take home. So now we can look foward to another meal tomorrow. The cost was very reasonable. The food & service exceptional. Thank you very much Split. We'll definitely return, maybe next week

We have eaten around the world, namely London, Paris and New York... the service, the atmosphere and the food is right up there with the best, if not better!! We enjoyed every single mouthful of top quality food and flavor, a true culinary delight. A spectacular experience which we will never forget. Split will be the boast of our dining stories for a long time to come. We highly recommend booking your place at Split!

Very enjoyable. Meals were very well presented and tasty. My wife had the lamb with pea puree and I had the pan fried fish of the day which was hapuka. Very well cooked and portion sizes were pretty good. Service was prompt and staff were excellent.

Food is amazing. The staff are great and attentive. Must book 👌 because they are that good. They were able to serve me and my partner quickly and bonus was the All Black's game was playing on the projector in the garden bar so could have a few drinks and enjoy that also. highly recommended spot in Whangarei

We read the reviews for this restraunt to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. I am going to recommend this place to everyone as it is the best! I've seen most of the world and the service and the food beats them all. Even the quantity was fantastic. No room for a starter or desert & I hadn't eaten all day. Thanks for making my day special again
