Ordered one of the all day breakfast, disappointed that they had run out of the mushrooms (hence the lower rating)...my order didn't take too long, it was a harty sized meal, reasonably priced and tasty. The restroom was clean and the restaurant was tidy, heaps of space to dine in and an outdoor eating area.

We always stop here either going to Auckland, the hospital or coming home. Told our Families and friends about the nice food friendly staff, clean tables, clean loo , good selection, easy parking, except during summer holidays, and THEY stop there too now. Love it there.

Been a very long time since coming back to this place. A great little St H1 Cafe to come in for a kai and soft serve ice cream, it is the halfway point from Auckland to Whangarei and Whangarei to Kaitaia, thanks guy's will call in again, cheers 👊🇳🇺

Five stars? Well they get two stars for having the courage to open a MX restaurant in Whang. And one more star simply for coming to work. So that leave just two more stars to get. I had the burito. Ya it was not really warm and the rice was cold. The salad was a nice tasty touch. Seems they have not found the menue strecher of black beens yet. Wife got the enchalatas. Tort was a little raw on the bottom but she ate every bite so that is a star. The music was MX techno that just did not fit. Seems traditional MX would be more fitting. They did turn it down on request. So the last star for the friendly staff. And would I go back? Of course. I am so thankful for MX food in Whang.

Brilliant and mouth watering. Meals are awesome for a quick top up on the road and the prices are more than agree-able. Their wide range of choices (food wise) is outstanding and delicious! Eat in or take away, however parking is limited as they are full on, 5am to close! Photos won't do them justice as you have to see/taste to believe it!!! Awesome service and always with a smile👍

This is the best place for a breakfast, brunch and lunch break it's has the best breakfast meals and morning tea meals and lunch meals the owners are very pleasant so are the staff.

For a roadside stop-off café these guys are awesome. Heaps of food to choose from in the warmers and it's all very reasonably priced. Don't go in expecting metro café food - it's all pretty basic fair - but what they do is tasty, and the coffee is well worth grabbing on the way past. Super convenient right on SH1, too.

Awsome cafe on the way up north, with excellent service, as well as options. Plenty of seating if you feel like a rest, and quick enough if you're on the go. The prices are fair, and the meals are delicious. Either for a quick snack, or a hearty feed, you'll surely be able to quench your appetite and be delighted afterwords. Highly recommend.

Great coffee and excellent selection of food and drinks from a roadside cafe. Grab a pie and Coke on the run, our sit and enjoy a large cooked breakfast while enjoying your coffee. Plus sushi, hot food, cakes, sandwiches, milkshakes and the usual variety of cold drinks from the fridges. Is worth a visit.

Ok I love burgers, and this it the best super-fresh burger you will buy anywhere in NZ. Try the works or Hawaiian burger. I will stop here every single time when going up north on my fishing trips. Well done Team. You have a fantastic store.

I have called in three times now, three different weeks 5:30am ish, typically for a bacon, egg and has brown muffin and a steak & cheese pie, their food is well presented and fresh (well at that time of the morning you would hope so) they are alays busy but the food is worth the small wait, I highly recommend stopping in and getting a feed, I am advised the Sushi is very good too, pricing is standard not over the top, I look forward to pie day Friday next week ☺.
