Reviews of The Old Parakao Store Cafe/Bar
A.
Called in to try their burgers. BLOODY AWESOME. Atmosphere of the Store,Cafe was laid back with just a handful of friendly locals, staff were most welcoming, decor ind vibe really works in this place, loads of memorabilia objects adorn the walls. I will definitely be heading back with a friend for a sit down meal, good music and great company.
J.
A truly rustic experience. Cool old cars. Vintage era, and museum age vehicle bits n pieces. Classic setting. And the only cafe/bar in the territory. A must see.
N.
Casual call in with usual Covid compliance. Funky interior, outside drinking den with lots of motor memorabilia. Entertaining even when empty mid day. Need an excuse roam up there again.

Have been pass here a number of times but was the 1st time I stopped there on the 5.12.20. Awesome store with many memorabilia, antics, a blast from the past, fantastic service, great menu a very pleasant time to be had here.

The old Parakao store, cafe and bar is something worth visiting. Heaps of local history being the old garage with plenty of memorabilia to view. Great bar and food choices and very friendly staff. A destination for many enthusiasts. If you are lucky there may even be a band playing. If you are in this neck of the woods you must stop and take it all in.

This is a down to earth Kiwi family run business. This place has an amazing collection of old memorabilia and a huge open log fire, it's like visiting a museum that serves bloody good food, coffee or a beer.
