Fantastic location, friendly staff. Iced coffee were delish. Truffle eggs Benedict was really tasty as was the steak burger. French toast was average-not a fan of the fruit topping.

Went to Tide by chance - we were passing by and saw the sign. More than enough parking. Clean entrance and restaurant. Staff pleasant and polite. Water immediately placed on the table and menu handed to us. Good menu and prices on par with everywhere else in Whangarei. Beautiful, calming view of Onerahi and water. Highly recommended.

Excellent location and fantastic view from our table. Service was very good. Menu was a bit limited but the starters and the main courses still had options for my wife and I. What we had was very-very good, one of the best steaks we've had. The starters were just as good. The food was up to the standard of similar priced restaurants. The only down side for us was the desserts - very ordinary. But we will be coming back.

Visited Tide restaurant today as we had heard about it through friends and family and wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed. The views from the exterior and inside of the restaurant are great. Love how all the doors slide back allowing the breeze from the sea to flow through. Had the big breakfast and eggs bene . Both were great. The staff were very helpful explaining the different things on the menu. Special mention to Jessie for her service. She also showed us the dinner menu so we were aware of what is available. Will certainly go back for dinner!!

Linda and I just had lunch at Tide, December 21st. We found the experience quite delightful. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the building was fresh and well set up, and the view out onto the water pretty charming. While we were only able to experience the brunch menu, the food was well presented and tasty, very fresh (fresh fish!!!) and even though the place was quite full we didn’t have to wait very long at all. There were no salads on the brunch menu but the kitchen was happy to fix us up with a fresh salad at very little cost. Quantities were generous too. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to trying them out for dinner.

The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly, the food was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced, i will definately be back when im in whangarei next and will be recomending tide to friends and family. Bacon benny with scallops.

It's a great location and becoming known as there was a steady flow of people on Sunday. It would be great if there was a smaller brunch meal on the menu for those who have smaller appetites. However the brunch menu provides for everyone. Eggs with bacon was delicious👌We had very attentive friendly staff. Thank you! A nice experience.

Went on a hot date with the husband here, glad we did, view awesome, people awesome and food ( you guessed it ) awesome. No photos cos I was staring at the view then my food ( surprisingly not phone ) a bit at the husband. They also do brunch!!!! Will have to go back for daytime. Haven't been down port road since I was a gross teen but it's worth going down there for this.
