T.Absolutely perfect place to eat. Great selection of food and alcoholic drinks. A comfy, cosy vibe that wasn't too pub like or fine dining. Just right. All the food was really tasty (we got a selection of things). You will see me again! Service from the lady working was absolutely amazing. She was lovely and exactly what you need in wait staff.
K.Superb food! We had the chicken, pork belly and salmon main dishes and all meals were very tasty, well presented, and came out pretty quickly. Good service with friendly staff. Limited wine selection. Would definitely recommend for a lovely dinner on the waterfront.
R.Very impressed with the food, thank you to the chef! I was here two weeks ago for dinner with my sister and a friend and we loved it, I had the pork belly and it was amazing! We then had the chocolate cheesecake for desert and it was lovely. Only thing that let me down was the customer service, our waitress spoke very quietly and the restaurant wasn't even loud and we couldn't hear her and then she'd keep 'forgetting' to bring some water to the table, didn't seem like she knew what she was meant to be doing.. I would know because I used to be a waitress myself, but apart from that it was lovely! Will be back in the future :)

G.I took friends to Sabys. They were from out of town. My male friend wanted to go there for their Beef Wellington. We all had it. The Beef Wellington was delicious. The beef was lovely and tender, hot and very modish. It had veges and a lovely sauce 😋 with it.
The service we recieved was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive, in fact very good 👍. They also some craft beers my friend was very happy with his choice
I would recommend Sabys to everyone want a special meal, wanting good food.
It is a very pleasant experience 😊 and very pleasant place.

J.Friendly, professional staff, great atmosphere and good food. Nice big kids play area across the road. The beef Wellington, salted squid, kids burger and green curry muscles where all excellent (I know, I tasted them all!). Our desert ending with cheese cake and kids sundaes were a tasty treat. I can highly recommend Sabys Kitchen to anyone. I think we might return tonight for another round!

O.Loved this place, went two nights in a row. Second night my partner and I brought a much larger crowd. The service was amazing, the food was even better. They definitely put love into their food. Would definitely come back again.

We had an early Christmas Party at the Sabys and all of us were very satisfied with the food and the service. We organized a special entree platter, main meal, cheese cake for dessert, and a cheese platter. Every course was perfect and way better than what we expected it to be. Highly recommend Sabys for a dinner get together. We really want to send a special thanks to the hall manager and the chef.

The herb and garlic loaf was suberb which we shared. The Beef Wellington for our main dish was delicious with an array of fresh vegetables, potato rosti and a nice sauce.

M.We went for dinner tonight and I can honestly say it was the best meal we've had in whitianga and we are regular visitors here.
Food was excellent and value for money. Only thing I can fault was my husband's plate was cleared while I was still eating. We were asked, as the waitress cleared his plate if we'd like dessert. I had a mouthful of food so couldn't answer. Which I thought was not good. But otherwise a great experience.

C.This is a hard review to write as the food was excellent but the service was way below par. One of our group arrived and was shown to the table then ignored for 15 minutes until the rest of the group arrived. We ordered entree, mains amd drinks. It took about 20 minutes before entrees arrived. They were deliscious. Then we waited over 45 mins for mains. There were 6 other tables so not a busy night by any standards. At no point between entree and mains did a server attend to offer drinks or even look in our direction. Mains finally arrived and again were amazing and tasted devine. It's a shame as if the service had been better, we would have stayed for desert and probably ordered another round. The service was what really let the place down.

We enjoyed a wonderful thanks giving dinner for our family of 7. We had a 6:30 reservation and showed up about 15 minutes early. We were seated immediately, and still accommodated with a lovely view. We had a large around table that was perfect because everybody could see each other and talk. We were not rushed and had wonderful service. In fact they had multiple servers deliver our food so we could all eat at once. Great food-especially the mussels, fantastic service. Highly recommend.

Because it was my daughters birthday they brought out a lovely dessert cake for her totally unexpected and topped the dinner off nicely. Beautifully air-conditioned with the best view in town. P.We often come here and the food is really good and well presented. Tonight we had the chicken dish and lamb rack and then finished off with the tripple chocolate cheesecake. All dish's were excellent.
J.My friend and I had dinner in this restaurant on a recent trip to Whitianga. We had the Eye Fillet steak accompanied by roast potato. The food was amazing and the portions were large. when my husband and I had a meal.It is lovely to have such a great steak dinner with very lean meat and also the staff are great at making recommendations. Unfortunately we were full after the meal and could not manage a dessert. We had delicious coffees to finish and once again there were two very satisfied customers.

This is by far the best pork belly i’ve ever had. We ordered ika mata and salt pepper squid from their lite bites and they both were good too. My husband had chicken for mains and he enjoyed it. Service was great too.

We visited sabys restaurant during our stay in whitianga on this Friday. The food was great and the service too.
There was a good menu selection and I throughly enjoyed both my Ika Mata and Eye fillet served with green pea puree. Fish in ika mata was so fresh. We ordered a side salad (delicious) which was a great choice.
Staff is very friendly. Great value for money and very pleasant ambience.
