Beautiful pancake and toasted sandwich.
And the coffee probably one of the best I’ve had in NZ.
Great value for Money.
Toasted sandwich with Brie, Chicken and cranberry for $6.
H.Lovely sunny Saturday for a lunch in the outdoor area at The Mag Tree. Received a warm welcome. Seated and order taken (a good menu selection) and then enjoyed the sun and a wee wine while we waited for food. Did not disappoint. Lamb and Roast Vege salad was yummy and hubbie said the best beef burger he had ever eaten. Our guests from Taupo were very impressed. Thank you. We will be back.

We each had a veggie burger, which tasted homemade - a chickpea patty with a bit of curry spice, topped with crunchy onion rings and mushrooms. The fries were perfectly crisp and salted, simple but delicious.
My partner had a dirty chai (chai latte with a shot of espresso) and I had a mocha, both of which were very well made and presented.
We finished the meal with a brownie and carrot cake.
Overall a great stop, we will be back the next time we are up this way!

K.Fantastic coffee. The steak burger with blue cheese and onion relish was delicious. Our kids thought the chicken nuggets were the best they have had and asked me when we could come back for more!
K.Vege chickpea burger was one of the best I've had. Nice and crispy. Creamy cabanara also very yum. Good service and cute as cafe nice and quiet off the road.
F.My husband & I visited The Mag Tree today for the first time in a few years & we are both very impressed. Beautiful Blue Cod meal each with a lovely glass of wine. The service was excellent, the environment bright, cherry & very happy! Yes we will definitely be back! Thank You to the team 😊

A.This is an amazing wee place, friendly staff, absolutely great food. It has been my brake for the last 4 years when I drive from Queenstown to Invercargill. Definitely a must stop, well recommended! Thanks and keep it up.

G.A little gem in Winton, we had been there before this visit. Once inside it wasn't to hard to relies that we had been here. A magic place great wait staff and even better food. Custard Square the best.

B.This restaurant has a lovely outside area and very well presented interior that feels very cosy with different areas for different group sizes.
The staff are very attentive and friendly... and the food was delicious and perfectly presented.
B.We shared the Asian platter which was basically store bought mini wontons, mini spring rolls, mini samosas and shoestring fries.

V.On Sunday I had a good lunch with Charles and Stephen at the Magola Tree Winton.
j.From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcomed. The atmosphere is very relaxing plus they have a totally awesome outside area. Coffee is great and the food is too, catering for gluten free/dairy free allergies. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

J.Coffee was good but need more choice for morning tea ie cheese scones, date or fruit scones...home .baking that looks very tempting.
