Reviews of Elderslea Care Centre and Village
R.
Our Mother, Dawn, was in Elderslea for almost three years before passing away mid-2018. She was in Lavender Lane for most of the time and then in the hospital wing.
She received wonderful support and care from everyone at Elderslea but more than that she was treated with love and respect by the team. They made sure her makeup was on, her clothes and room were clean, and there were lots of activities for her to participate in. Mum did participate (even if she might not have always remembered!).
It is not easy having to make the decision to put a parent into a care facility, but Elderslea made living with that decision much easier knowing Mum was receiving the best of care and opportunity to live as rich a life as possible.

We recently lost our beloved husband father Poppa - he was in the Hospital part of Elderslea and altho his time there was not that long he loved it - he did not want to go to a "normal" Hospital as he grew weaker and because of the love, respect and kindness he received at Elderslea he got his wish - we cannot fault the care he received from the Dr Nurses Healthcare Assistants Hospice & all others who interacted with him and us - his family - we will be eternally grateful for his peaceful passing - thank you all

Great old folks home and hospital, they take good care of me and look after my well being.
