Reviews of Whitianga Care Centre and Village
R. C.My mother in law had Parkinson's Disease. At first, she went to CC for respite care when her husband needed a break. Then eventually, she became a full time resident until recently when she passed away. Continuing Care are staffed by knowledgeable, professional people who understand the true meaning of 'care'. They were always lovely to her and welcomed all of her family, striving to accomodate and help in all ways. The facility hums with activity and varied, interesting programmes. All the residents love the food! The situation, right across from Buffalo Beach, is simply beautiful. It was a favourite activity to take her across to the beach walkway just to gaze at Mercury Bay. I cannot speak highly enough of the dedicated staff. We were able to rest comfortably in the knowledge that when we could not be with her, she was safe and content at Continuing Care.
