Super beginner friendly with lots and LOTS to learn! These guys at AKLBJJ are highly skilled and great teachers. Everyone’s there to learn and help each other.
Expect to get a great workout! This is a great way to stay active and very addictive. Training BJJ you learn great life skills and build a lot of confidence too.

This is a place where they made us feel like family not as a client. They are super supportive and understanding. My son has some difficulties for learning and took him a while to adapt, as parents we could not be happier with the support everyone provide us. When you meet Anjila Morel you will see she is the heart of the place. It is also very affordable. Communication is great, they will answer emails on the same day. Amenities are great, bathrooms and changing rooms are always clean. They sell drinks. There is a Frist Aid Kit in the facilities. They provide one free class to try. Definitely recommend this place.

Great instructors, friendly training partners and huge mat area. Instructors are multi-disciplined with Judo experience too which is handy. Affordable prices compared to other BJJ gyms, this is the place to be!

These dudes are the most gracious, humorous and deadly practitioners you will have the pleasure of hugging.
The least expensive Brazilian Jiu-jitsu club in Auckland. First lesson free.
Brand new dojo with amenities! Awesome!
Training 6 times a week, 2hrs per session, Gi and no Gi.
Come get fit, lose weight, get strong, become a weapon for good!

Lots of space, great coaches with extensive International and National experience.
This can be a bit daunting at first but when you get to know the team and the other members, it becomes more like a family. Everyone is friendly and supportive - a great environment to learn.

A very friendly and welcoming club that provides top notch BJJ training, I particularly enjoyed the focus on traditional takedown training, I later found out that one of the instructors is also a judo black belt in addition to IBJJF black belt and encourages a open mindset when training BJJ , professors Stu & Serge are great teachers and thoroughly enjoyed my time training when I was in Auckland.

I tried a few different places and Auckland BJJ were by far the best. Real good group of guys who help you learn. Also really affordable compared to other places.

What can you say about this place?
It's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu taught by two (double the value) accomplished BJJ black belts. One is the first Tahitian BJJ Black Belt and the other is a double grappling black belt (one BJJ and one in Judo). Giving a definite advantage in overall jiujitsu tuition, as we can learn Kimono stand up takedowns and throws to a higher than typical standard imo.
Advantages -
x2 BB teachers that do it out of passion for the art.
A no politics and ego free environment to learn, grow and develop your grappling skills.
Under-sprung matted floor, for those (us) fragile boned learners still getting used to break falling.
Structured lesson planning for optimal efficient progression thorough the curriculum.
Disadvantages -
It's only twice a week! (plus open mats on saturday)
