H.My old primary and a school my mother taught at and helped run for many years. It has had its ups and downs but seems to ride them pretty well and has been a consistently good school. They've just lost a good principal and are struggling under a commissioner with no proper educational background at all. I'm sure they'll survive this but it is a shame to see it happen.
D.Matipo is a great school and Mr Wright was doing a fantastic job in bringing the school forward and into current educational practices. It’s a shame a small but loud group couldn’t see past their egos and see the ethos that was being set.
M.Matipo School is a great place to develop and extend our Tamariki. The School has a great community and attracts excellent teachers. 2020 is going to be an exciting year, starting out under the guidance of a new interim principal Linley Myers. Parent since 2017
B.A wonderful school that has withstood the nasty interference of a small parental lobby and a Commissioner clipping the ticket. Fortunately a strong leadership group established by the former principal remains intact.
B.I've been to lots of schools and this is by far the best, it's a big school and there are lots of kids and lots of playgrounds
It is also a school with lots of trees and plants. I would definitely recommend it as a school.
