o.Our daughter has been attending Scratchpad for the last year. Coming from an IT background, we realized that to develop a sound logical aptitude and critical thinking, coding can play a very crucial role and it can ignite a passion and curiosity in young minds. So we started looking for the best place to learn to code in Auckland and soon found out that Scratchpad is far ahead in this field compared to other market players. That is mainly because of their exhaustive resources, numerous options, and especially passionate and very knowledgeable teachers. We have seen remarkable progress in our daughter in the last year and she has got completely hooked on programming and developing. We will highly recommend Scratchpad to other parents
ま.My child enjoys learning coding at Scratchpad. He is improving his coding skills with a very well-organised learning program. His improvement surprises even him, and at the end of each session, he reports to us how much he has achieved, which has led to his confidence not only in coding skills but also in many ways. The instructors are very nice, kind and helpful. We are happy with Scratchpad😊
D.Parents often think of ballet, chess, maths, etc but really - programming is brilliant for kids! It is highly reusable and it's does help with logic thinking overall. Besides, kids love it! Scratcpad is really awesome. Much better than just trying random stuff online too. Worthwhile!!!
M.My son is 8 and he loves his coding classes! I have been so impressed at how his coding, computer literacy and problem solving skills have improved since starting lessons at Scratchpad. Whilst other extracurricular activities came to a halt with COVID, coding lessons seamlessly transitioned online with each lockdown with very little (if any!) impact. In fact, i feel my son's interest and passion for it has increased! The tutors are caring and help make learning so fun.
P.My son has been at Scratchpad Stonefields for nearly two years now. The coding courses have helped him to form some great foundations in logic and maths and have enabled him to connect and see patterns in the world.
The team of leaders and tutors there are absolutey awesome - amazingly

A.My 8yr son has been attending Scratchpad in Stonefields for 6 months since January 2021 and absolutely loves it. He has always been fascinated by computers and since attending the Scratchpad weekly sessions, he can now confidently use code to design some games. Deepa, Dre & team are absolute stars and are incredibly patient when helping my son through some of the trickier courses. The courses teach the kids to read carefully and follow instructions given and to use logic but also allows them to be as creative as they can especially with the 3D printing courses. The courses can also be completed from our home computer with access to the teachers when needed. It’s been a wonderful experience for my son but I’m also learning a little myself through listening to the endless enthusiast chatter after each session. Thank you Stonefields Scratchpad, we’ve finally found something my son is passionate about.
A.Both of my children have attended holiday programs and weekly coding club sessions through Scratchpad Stonefields. They absolutely love it and continue to be enthusiastic about it. It offers them a good challenge, fun and the opportunity to learn a new skill. I appreciate how flexible Deepa and the team have been to accomodate us.

M.A great opportunity for kids to learn coding. Their teaching method is really good and easy for kids to learn computer science. Teachers are friendly and encourage kids to solve some really hard puzzles. My child enjoys going to Scratchpad Stonefields and he is learning to code. I highly recommend them!

A.We highly recommended Scratchpad Stonefields to families want to raise lifelong learners. Deepa and the team are great teachers who inspire and encourage children to learn not just 'how' but also 'why'. My children (10 and 8) have learnt a lot about coding, logical thinking and math without putting in too much effort because they really enjoy the classes and programs. My 10-year-old also got Distinction in her ICAS Digital Technology only after two months started her classes with Scratchpad.

I’ve also been really impressed with how they manage during the COVID-19 Lockdowns - they offer seamless online learning when we can’t attend the centre and operate stringent hygiene practice once the students can return to the centre for learning.

Your attention to detail is very evident, from the initial group discussion with the kids, the compulsory hand washing pre-entry, the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of all the staff.
