K.Being a working Mum I wasn't sure how I was going to find the time to study, but this course proved to be a perfect fit. It was incredibly accessible and fun and I could work at my own pace which was ideal for our busy household. I gained invaluable knowledge and skills and it reinforced my love of design and desire to be a part of the industry. It has given me the ability to move forward in the field and confidently call myself an Interior Designer.
I.I have just completed the IDI comprehensive twelve module course and have learnt so much in a short space of time, it's current, informative and practical. I enjoyed the fact that I could set my own pace and change it accordingly to my work and family commitments. I am feeling confident about my next steps into an exciting ever-changing industry and have a clearer idea of how I need to structure my business and how I want to operate as a contemporary design studio.
D.For as long as I can remember I have always loved Interior design! I began working in different fields of interior design, from helping designers stage and style homes to making colour choices and painting the walls myself. I loved every part of it but knew that I needed a foundation to further my existing experience in the field.
The IDI course has helped me in more ways than I can imagine. It has taught me the “why” and “how” of interior design. Why designers make the decisions that they make and “how” to be sure of those decisions taking into consideration all factors of a project. It has also broadened my knowledge in areas I never knew I was lacking in.
I can honestly say that after graduating from this course I have complete confidence in my ability as an interior designer! I have to thank my tutor Kim who is amazing!! She responded to every question promptly and always provided me with great feedback and constructive criticism where necessary.

a.This has been an extremely rewarding course. The course structure and assignments are very practical, enabling us to do our own research and develop our skills further. My tutor, Sophie Seeger, has been very supportive and clarified all my questions during our time together. Interior design has been my long-held passion. I recently quit my full-time IT job to pursue my dream and this course has given me all the required skills I needed to kick start my career as an Interior Designer. It has been an amazing journey for me so far and I can't wait to see what the future holds in this fascinating industry.
R.I have enjoyed every minute of this course. As somebody with zero experience in design I was initially apprehensive! This proved no problem though as the structure of the course guides you through the process so nicely and helps you build confidence as you go - plus the tutors are amazing and so encouraging. This course has opened up my eyes big time to the opportunities out there.

At first, I was anxious about studying completely online but once I signed into my account everything was so simple and straightforward. The modules were interesting and full of useful information. I apply the skills I have gained to everything I do, whether it's flower arranging, painting, gardening, or dressing for a party, the principles and elements of design come into play. Family and friends are always approaching me for advice and colour consulting, I gave advice with confidence and it always turned out good. The only reason for this newfound confidence in myself and my skill as an Interior Decorator is because of the 5-star education the IDI gave me and the encouragement of my amazing tutor.
Once again I thank the IDI with genuine gratitude and I recommend this Institute to anyone with a passion for interiors and colour as I do.
J.Absolutely loved this course. Following my passion for home, interiors and design, I am looking to pursue a new career in interior design. This has given me excellent theoretical and practical learnings to give me the confidence to enable me to engage with clients adding to my renovation experience.
B.For anyone interested in interior design and who want the adaptability of studying at any time on your own time, I would highly recommend this course.
I loved being able to work through each module at my own pace whilst working full time in a completely different profession.
The 12 modules are very interesting but also challenging and I thoroughly enjoyed each module. At times when I needed advice, the support from my tutor and the IDI Facebook group was extremely helpful.
I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to change their profession or to find their inner creativeness.
L.I researched several interior design online courses prior to starting my study and found the Interior Design Institute course the most relevant and easy to follow. All of the modules were interesting and well presented. The information provided in each module was relevant and covered a wide range of information on the topic. The tutor was very helpful and responded with great feedback after each assignment. I was a little nervous at first about studying, as it has been a long time, but thoroughly enjoyed the course so much I flew through it quicker than I expected. Studying became a little addictive, as I could not wait to move on to the next topic and learn more. After several years of renovating properties, I was surprised at the amount I learnt during the course, which prior to this study I had no idea about! I would thoroughly recommend the course to anyone that has an interest in interiors or planning to renovate a property.

When I first started this course I was unsure how I was going to get through it with working full time and take on the study, plus being a mother of three. However, through the support of my tutor and the fact that the course has been designed so that you can work on it at your own pace, after 12 months I was able to complete my Diploma. During my time studying, I was pleased to learn that the modules are easy to download and submit and very user-friendly and that they have been written in understandable content.
I totally loved this course as it worked with my busy lifestyle because it is self-placed and I was able to work on it around the children.
I feel I have learned a world of knowledge through this course and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in an Interior Design Career.
I have always had a passion for Interior design and I have always found myself involved in the industry, and now with the experience and knowledge I have gained from the Interior Design Institute Diploma I feel 100% ready to start my own interior design business.
