Reviews of Memorial Gardens
T. S.Great park for kids, and teens with separate area for younger children. Compact but Beautiful gardens all on one level so easy access. Walk through to pool, Football Basketball, Athletics and Squash clubs, and to the large memorial park sports ground.
J. R.Was actually on way to pools long line of traffic only reason for being there but is a clean tidy park.
N. P.Kids have so much fun here on all the different playground areas and equipment, clean public toilets, water fountains, free bbqs and a good amount of parking makes for a great day.
J. S.Great park for picnics and adventure play area for kids of all ages. Lots of different activity equipment. Nicely set out. Good parking and wheel chair access and swing.
B. H.I haven't played any sport of the grounds but have been to numerous events held here. There is a large carpark but arrive early if there is a large event on as the parks are not marked and it only takes one person to muck up a lot of parking.
C. M.A great playground with lots of structures for different age groups. Wheelchair swing here. The only down point was the smelly toiletbutmaybe we went there on a bad day.
L. S.Great playground for the kids, nice wee paths for walking along too.
Public toilets available nearby as well.
P. C.Enjoyed having good old kiwi fish and chips at a picnic table balmy weather, just great!!
M.Lovely small park. Great playground and aviary. Be prepared to get mobbed by ducks and seagulls if you're eating.
W. T.Memorial Park is gorgeous, especially when the roses are in bloom; or the rhodes. The MP playground is an awesome place to visit from the littlies to the teens. The DCC provides some funding for it; but 11 odd years ago The Mosgiel Playground Trust was formed (of which I was a part of) and funding was applied for, and money fundraised to ensure we got good quality playground equipment, and a great variety too. There's even bbq's for the public's use; and a Variety Club wheelchair swing; where a key can be obtained from the DCC Service Centre in by the library. I think you pay a bond. Overall a fab playground.

F. S.Wonderful place to come and watch sports, a great play ground near by for children of all ages, which also provides bbqs.
