Albert Einstein once said " If you cant explain it simply you don't know it well enough" Well Milo and the team at Skipper training must be Einstein's distant cousins because they "know it well enough" and sum ! Teaching in such an interesting, informative manor that creates an exemplary learning environment. If you are even considering doing any form of marine training give these guys a call you wont regret it ! Ill be back for sure ! Cheers Milo, Addie, Ruby and Mark.

Easy and super supportive environment to be in for learning! It was great to learn new things in the class room and then have it all solidified with days out on the training vessel. I spent a few years putting off doing my SRL as it was quite difficult to complete tasks and have them signed off, Skipper Training NZ made it super simple and easier to complete all tasks required within the 5 week course.

Have used Skipper Training NZ for myself and other staff members, SRL, MEC 5&6 and Master24 (Equivalent SCO). Tutors and support staff were excellent. The on vessel training sessions are invaluable for helping relate theory lessons back to real world situations. I highly recommend the Australian ticket options, as they have very good course content and you end up with both Australian and New Zealand qualifications.

I completed my coxswain ticket with Skipper Training NZ in August via zoom meetings/practical training. Both tutors (Ian and Milo) were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Could ring them up at any time to ask a question. Also provided with good online resources for study. The huge bonus for me was the length of course and ability to study at home which saved me alot of time and money. I transferred my coxswain over to Skipper Restricted Limits (endorsed to 24M) very easily. Took about 4wks once issued with ticket. If you want to get your SRL or SCO then this is the way to go about it

Really well structured course with down to earth, relatable tutors. Good learning environment and really well set up with resources for more insightful and engaging methods for taking in all the knoledge and skills gained through the SRL.
