Every Guruduwara sahib is best and this one is also best. The atmosphere of Guruduwara sahib is peaceful. They provide you free food like every other Guruduwara sahib. Very big parking space. The Bandishod diwas (Diwali) is beat here and the fireworks is awesome. Especially the community the helped everyone even in COVID-19 they provide free food and grocery to needy families. They allowed everyone to pay obeisance and eat langar (food) no matter who you are no matter your cast or religion, everyone is welcome.

God is present within, wherever you are. I do not believe or follow religion; I believe in the intimacy of God my Light Creator; this is one but many places to sit in stillness and be one in union with him. A place of quiet contemplation. Meal and cup of tea is always provided after your prayers by community kitchen; to share in communion with your companions. All are most welcome.

Around 20,000 people descended at this holy place of worship to celebrate Bandi Chhor diwas (Sikh gurus freeing prisoners of war and atrocities, from the Mughal Empire in India before partition)

Amazing place very photogenic structure, welcoming community had Langer (free food) running all day long found out from the people there its available all day 7 days a week. They have sports facilities for soccer, hockey, basketball, cricket, volley ball and netball and a playground available to use for the community anyone can walk in freely. Enjoys the experience

Beautiful, calm, relaxing and amazing. Felt so much of positivity and didnt feel for a moment that i am not in india. So nice people all around the gurudwara, such humanity hard to see.. I went on the day of diwali (bandhi chor diwas) in gurudwara. The firework i saw was the best i saw till date. Loved it

This is one of the best Gurudwaras in the whole country, both in terms of size and community visiting it. Very well maintained, it is easily accessible by car and public transport equally. The main prayer hall is majestic and huge enough to accommodate a large number of devotees. The langar halls are equally large and well kept too. There are a lot of activities for all age groups scheduled in the weekdays as well. Very nice and harmonious experience overall. Highly recommended.

Peaceful,calming place. Every Sunday their is a gathering of the of the people. Saturday kids religious classes. Playground for kids and kabaddi,soccer, cricket fir big one as well. Everyday FREE FOOD service is available for everyone 😊 who ever come. 🙏

4AUG17 5:00PM Alliance Community Initiatives Trust (ACIT) CEO Ms Rachel Enosa and some of her crew from Healthy Families, funded by the Miinistry of Health (MOH), plus Auckland Council staff (a Healthy Families partner and stakeholder) and MOH staff launched an urban food garden this evening here. Mr Raju Ramakrishna, one of the healthy families crew members, welcomed me and introduced me to Mr Daljit Singh. VIPs included Mr Singh, the NZ Prime Minister Rt Hon Bill English, the Hon Judith Collins, the Hon Mark Mitchell, National MP Mr Anderw Bayly (for Hunua) and National List MP Mr Kanwaljit Singh Bakshi. The Takanini Sikh Gurdwara temple here at 70 Takanini School Road, Takanini, Auckland sits on 11 acres. Erected nearly 15 years ago, about 2,000 Sikhs worship here on Sundays. In 2005 the then NZ Prime Minister the Rt Hon Helen Clark spoke to about 5,000 people here and was hosted by Mr Daljit Singh, now the past President but current Spokesman for the Supreme Sikh Society of NZ.
