Sue and her team are amazing, I could not recommend Montessori Children’s House more highly. My son loved every minute of his two years there - he has entered school well prepared with all the skills he needs to learn effectively and has developed a wonderful, curious mind and a thirst for knowledge. The environment is rich with learning opportunities and the staff are so wonderful and dedicated to their students. We really miss Montessori Children’s House now we have moved on, and feel so privileged to have been part of it.

I have had the privilege of both of my children attending Montessori Children's House for their preschool years (3-6). Both children left Montessori for primary school with amazing foundations in reading, writing and maths. Not only this, but the environment and opportunities that Montessori provides to be creative, sporty and to explore nature and science, has been instrumental in allowing my children to become well rounded and ready for the world. The facilities are fantastic and the teaching team and management are supportive, kind and caring. The children and I found it very difficult to leave when it came time for primary school.

Both our boys attended Montessori Children's House and we couldn't be happier with the care and quality of education they received. Sue, Mary and the team worked closely with us to meet the particular needs of our kids and it set them up perfectly for the next step in their schooling. As a family we often look back through the beautifully presented folders that the teachers prepared and added to while they were there and remember with great fondness an awesome few years.

We first approached Montessori Children's House before moving to Seatoun to find a similar quality Montessori school which our old boy was attending in Upper Hutt. After a long list of hunting, it was instant that when we first walked into this pre-school, we felt the belonging and the quality that we have been searching for. While it was Montessori philosophy that we want for the kids’ early year education, it was the pre-school’s setup, teachers’ attitude and management a complete utter-most quality education service ticked all our list. Thank you Sue, Mary, Sarah and the team, without your help and careful nurturing, Liam would never be able to receive the Principal’s award in 6 month of attending at Seatoun School, thank you. We hope Boyu will soon join his brother to be a good young brave man and fly with the skills you have taught him!

Staff are friendly and helpful. They only have a small capacity, and don't tend to accept kids over 3 years old, so contact them very early on.
