T.Only spent a month or two here during the mid 70s,Mr Cunis being the headmaster back then.
He later on becoming a New Zealand cricket selector.
Used to walked to school,as was the normal in rural areas.Most students here were close relatives and farming families.
School life was divided into junior and senior classrooms,that went up to form2.
A lot has changed now as it has evolved to a kurakapapa school for the Waiohau valley.
R.My very first school ever, barefoot to school for what I thought was mioles and miles and miles ... but I was only 5yrso ... Things sure have changed ...
