Fantastic service today. I was looking for a shoe specifically for gym training. After watching me do a few movements and measuring my feet, I was given a couple of options of shoe and found the perfect pair. Efficient, friendly knowledgeable service. I had initially gone to Shoe Science, but was told they don’t have shoes designed for gym work - just running. So I was feeling a bit down … Shoe Clinic made me relieved there was a shoe for my needs and I walked away very happy.

Went in this morning and was amazed at the customer service! Mike spent a good chunk of time asking questions and using technology to figure out what kind of shoe would work best for me, explained in great detail about why it’s going to work and how it will support my feet. Very pleased with the customer service and shoes.

The team has looked after me very well. Stock is always on hand for when I need it, or is only a day or two away if they're sold out, which considering their great customer service, I expect them to be sold out! There is no other shoe store I would rather shop at. Shoe Clinic Ponsonby is the way retail shopping should be!

I just had the best poditary shoe fitting experience with Mike (the store Owner) and his right hand man Brendan. I turn 46 years old next week and I wanted to treat myself by investing in supportive, lite and comfortable trail running and casual/running shoes. Mike with his 20+ year's expertise on shoe fittings knew his trade, and I was enlightened by my running form and the best shoes for my feet. I trusted Mike's recommendation and purchased the shoes and socks that will motivate and encourage my love of trail running. Best service ever Mike and I'll come back with my nephew. Another fun fact, Mike initiated the water💧in aluminium cans, to avoid using plastic bottles and Shoe Clinic head office rolled this idea out to all their stores. Great recycling initiative ♻️👊🤙Keep up the great service!

Mike and his team are amazing. Without a shadow of a doubt the best customer service I have received from a shop. I need a specific trainer and they have gone out of their way to ensure I can get what I need. Always helpful and willing to the extra mile, regularly!

Store was quite busy when I went but managed to be looked after quite quickly by the staff, explained my foot problem and they showed me several shoe options and tested on the treadmill, happy with my new shoes.

Has some very good staff . My personal experience there was the best I have ever had when buying shoes ... from the service right to the shoe recommendation . I went there with a complaint about hip and leg pain and walked our nearly instantly pain free. I would recommend shopping here .

Fantastic customer service experience. Bought a pair of Brooks earlier this year. These guys really know what they are selling and go the extra mile to make sure you’re getting a perfect fit. No pushy sales tactics or marketing fluff- just people who care about what they do and do it bloody well and genuinely care about their customers. I’ll be back for my next pair!

Went here today with my dancer daughter to get a pair of shoes to support her feet. From the moment we walked in, the shopkeeper, Brett, could not have been more helpful. Patient, sincere and knowledgeable he helped us and our daughter to pick our the perfect pair of shoes. Prices were reasonable. The level of knowledge and customer service we received means that we will go back there again for all our shoes from now. Big thanks to Brett for all his hard work, it was appreciated.

I've just started running 5 kms and needed some shoes so I can run safely. Staff at the store were very , very friendly and helpful. I had my feet measured by a laser , my walking /running style analysed on multiple machines. I never know it was so complex. The investigations discovered some pertinent features a running shoe needed to allow me to run safely and smoothly. I had the choice of 3 different pairs. The cost pair I tried on fitted snuggly. It's been a week since I bought my new shoes and I'm really happy with them. Amazingly on the first 5 km run I knocked 30 seconds off my best time without even trying. Im very happy ,I Def feel more secure in my stride now. I'm a very happy runner. Thanks Shoe Clinic.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The employees at this store were very friendly and helpful in helping me decide on some new shoes. They actually care about your outcome and have a great return policy if the shoes aren’t correct. The ones I was recommended are great and have helped my training a lot for what I specifically required in a running shoe.

My wife and I got fitted for new shoes here today and were both impressed by Josh's helpfullness, product knowladge and professionalism. Will definately be returning here when we are ready for new shoes again.

Great staff, thank you Mike! very positive attitude, personalized customer care, extreme kindness and professionalism. I travel for my job and could possibly get the cheapest stuff around the world, but when you meet people like Mike at Shoe Clinic you realize pennies or pounds (or NZ dollars) don't make the difference, the whole customer care experience does though. and I bought two pairs of running shoes instead of the single one I planned to get. Highly recommended!

I had purchased a couple of pairs of running shoes, but realised they were a bit too tight a fit. They allowed me to return and replace them, no questions asked. Knowledgable staff with great service!

Five star service from Mike today. Needed some new sports shows to get me through lockdown, bought them over the phone and Mike personally delivered them to my doorstep in under an hour. Highly recommend.

I have been a type 1 diabetic for over 25 years and finding shoes that fit and support my feet is very difficult for me. When searching the net for high quality shoes I came to shoe clinic in Ponsonby. I thought I give it a try and have not been disappointed. The service is extraordinary. Mike has lots of knowledge and is very patient, understanding and helpful . I think I tried on about 11 pairs of different shoes but finally found two pairs that really fit well. I also got me a few pairs of wonderful socks that protect my feet as well and wearing them feels like walking on clouds. Thank you so much for being so wonderful to your customers. Highly recommended to anyone.I will be back for sure.

Brendan is an absolute legend, and a true professional! Clearly knows what he's talking about. Obviously passionate about his work. Genuinely cares about analysing your stride, and is full of really useful injury prevention advice. He was very friendly with me, made me feel very at ease, and helped me find a shoe that seriously took the strain off of my ankles, and was noticeably way more comfortable to run in than what I'm used to. Brendan spent a tonne of his time helping me and giving me plenty of practical running tips. None of the pushy sales stuff you sometimes get in sports shops. I seriously cannot recommend him highly enough! For anybody looking to get into running, improve your game, or prevent injury, talk to Brendan!

I went to 4 different stores to NZ and all of them said they couldn't find me size US 17 shoes none of them even bothered to check with suppliers, I called Shoe Clinic Ponsonby and talked to Mike he contacted me again that day saying he is going to try some other suppliers and the next day he had my shoes. Amazing customer service above and beyond. Its hard for someone like myself to find shoes in New Zealand and its sales reps like Mike that make it possible so huge thanks from me can definitely recommend Mike and this store.

Although I didn't buy any shoes. They helped me check which type of shoes I need to have. Thanks for helping figure out they right shoes for my feet. Good customer service! I forgot the name of the tall guy but he knows all about running and will definitely give you an expert advice.

Brendan's customer service was exceptional considering we walked in 2 minutes before closing time and after he had bought the sign in from outside , he welcomed us into the shop like we were the 1st customers of the day , top effort Brendan

I've bought runners from shoe clinic twice now. Every time I go it's the same level of excellent customer service. I got into running in my late 20's so there are some gaps in my knowledge (which i'm slowly filling in as I go). The staff at shoe clinic provide friendly, helpful advice if you want it. They appear to be very knowledgeable with regard to running in particular gait analysis. I run a reasonable amount each week (at least over 24 kilometers a week over 3 runs), and find that there is a big difference between good running shoes and generic shoes. I would recommend that anyone wanting to do a reasonable amount of running/walking get a gait analysis and have a shoe selected for you by the friendly staff at Shoe Clinic.

I was served by a short guy (sorry I forgot your name🙄😔)you suggested the Brooks running shoe and guess what I am now hitting the pavement with the correct shoes that dont give me sore feet & also my shoes are looking on fleek😎😋 Thank you for giving me great advice and also the customer service was spot on! Excellent!! GP and Specialists are talking knee replacement..examination and insoles ten years ago and knee pain gone. Must Renew insoles more regularly..

I am new to running and they were so helpful in helping me find good shoes for my shin splints and I even got a complimentary can of cold water, best service I have had in a long time!!!

The Drymax Trail Run socks I purchased for GODZone 2016 were amazing! No blisters after six days in the wet and wild. Same pairs been used throughout the year for training and still almost like new. I wanted a couple of extra pairs for this year's GODZone 2017 and the owner dropped them around to my door after work so I had them for my flight to Queenstown in the morning. I highly recommend this product and this store's service. Thank you!
