S.Awesome customer service from Alisha! Genuine, super friendly, great attitude and approachable all the while being professional and respectful . Didn’t feel scripted like some places. It’s refreshing especially coming from a store in this location, where staff can be the complete opposite and sometimes leave feeling dehumanised. Danny was awesome too dealt with him over email. Great communication and handling of my package and quick to respond. Overall great first experience. Thanks Danny and Alisha!
T.After many rude encounters at the other stores in commercial bay, it was refreshing to be served by staff at Solect as they were kind, genuine and respectful. The lady that helped me gave honest opinions and decent conversation. She was able to help me decide on which pair I should get for myself, I've never purchased something without hesitation in my life but it felt so easy here. Cheers for the awesome service!
야.It’s really difficult to find shoe store like this Auckland nowadays I reckon. All the staff who have helped me out did so like it’s them buying their own shoes. Super sincere, raises those small concerns that I hadn’t even thought of. Knows how to get a good pair of shoes that fits perfectly and how to maintain them. Great service, I am actually really grateful. Will definitely come back for another pair soon. Thank you!
A.On Friday 21th Jan Me nd my husband went to SOLECT in d Commercial Bay. Actually I was looking for ONITSUKO TIGER shoes nd specially in yellow colour nd I didn't found it in NZ but I found amazing onitsuka tiger shoes wid different colour at SOLECT and Had a great experience here of wonderful customer service! I m not sure is he owner or Staff but was super helpful and friendly, very knowledgeable and ensures for my shoes size and its measurements as well !
And also I received useful advice for my shoes.
Going to visit their store for my next shoe.. Always recommended. Very happy with the service that I received today. The guy is the best. Should be employee of the month. ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
R.Context - we are at the peak of Omicron where there are massive shipping delays. I optimistically buy online at Solect anyway on a Tuesday, asking if my order can be prioritised for delivery as I need it for Friday afternoon. Next thing I knew, daughter's sandals arrive on the Wed, and mine on a Thu. I am so surprised and stoked. I had asked but I wasn't so sure they could deliver on time. Very very happy and feel so valued that they would read my email and actually deliver on it. Even better, we love the sandals and they fit perfectly. Very happy. Big thanks to the team at Solect.

P.Other than Pat Menzies, this is the best shoe store in Auckland (definitely number #1 in Com Bay).
Amazing selection (love me some Tims, Docs and Vans), staff is always friendly. If you ever have had a chat with the people in store, you'll know Danny or Michael (who have served my friends and I in the past) have great working ethic. The crew has a commitment to providing the best customer service to anyone.
Rumour has it, John Cho used to check out the store when they were filming Cowboy Bebop here.Only got aroha for Solect.

r.Danny is an assett to the store and an absolute delight to deal with. I bought my shoes before my flight back to Queenstown and thanks to Danny's quick thinking he offered to courier them down free of charge so I didn't have to pay for extra baggage on my flight. They arrived within the next few days in perfect condition with follow up from Danny over the phone who once again was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks Danny & the team!
