Bought shoes from here several times for myself and the kids. Every single time the staff have been excellent and they have the best technology to scan your feet and walking gait - and then demonstrate which shoes are right for you. For serious running or school shoes I would not go anywhere else.

Quick and professional shoe size up and fitting. Good range of quality brands. Downside are high product prices and subsequently I found same product else where 20% or so cheaper. Guess you have to pay premium for decent service in NZ sometimes.

Awesome experience at The Athlete's Foot, Riccarton, today. Went in for business shoes expecting the regular routine and was blown away by the service I received. After speaking with Simon for 30 minutes, I can't believe how much I've missed out on in other shoe stores! More than once I've gone home with shoes that don't fit well or aren't suitable for my purposes which then just sit in my cupboard, but I can't imagine that happening with these guys. Simon took the time to check out my existing shoes (no other shoe salesperson has done this for me) and demonstrated why they've worn poorly before taking me through some suitable alternatives from their stock. He put together an option along with some extra insoles, talked me through the benefits, and I walked away happy knowing that I've got a great pair of shoes... and for the first time I even understand what makes them so good! Thanks team. I'll be back for some hiking shoes soon!
