W.ANIJAS FRESH FRUIT ICE CREAM is a very popular place for families to enjoy the best tasting ICE cream in the west. The ladies serving you are real gems in fact they are diamonds. And only FRESH fruit is used to flavour the ice cream.

S.Henderson’s very own hidden treasure. Such a lovely treat in the summer heat. Really reasonable price $5 for such a huge delicious ice cream. Be prepared for a bit of a wait in line as they are super popular. 1,000% must visit however warning it may be hazards to ones health especially if you are local (they are soooo addictive!!)
E.We found this place on Google Maps after our little wander up Mount Eden (it's super close by car). The location is super unassuming and there isn't much else going on the side street BUT this place makes the best fresh fruit ice cream I have ever had!!
They use a super nice NZ (award winning) ice cream and then mix in the fresh fruit there and then. They will also make up a large tub of ice cream to whatever you would like to take home!
Finally the staff are super friendly, very chilled and don't mind having a good chat about the ice cream and how it works.

A.The ice cream and service is awesome. We will gladly travel the 15 min drive to go to this shop. They mix the fruit with the ice cream to order and you end up with a gorgeous soft serve texture. They even have gluten free cones. They are patient with families ordering and make your ice cream quickly and efficiently. Things to note: if you need a napkin ask for it, there is limited seating and it is outdoor, they do have shade umbrellas, I don't believe they have a restroom, they only have fruit flavours so no chocolate, lastly the milk shakes are average compared to the fantastic ice cream.
M.Great ice cream!!! Tasty like you can’t imagine. Big quantity for good price! The variety is also a good thing (who doesn’t like to have the choice?) I really enjoyed the classics (strawberry & blueberry) but not so much the summer special: blackcurrant. The mango is also very refreshing but the passion fruit is missing something. In any case, you’ll always find the ice cream you are looking for!

C.I'm not a fan of ice cream. But I definitely am a fan of Anijas. The ice cream is creamy without being too heavy. It's got just the right amount of sweetness, and the real fruit they mix in the ice cream after you've placed your order is just amazing. It's so good that it's difficult to pass it by on a hot summer day.

w.Great ice cream and a decent amount of flavors. They a limited flavor from time to time. At the moment it's green tea(matcha) which is great. They've also had lemon meringue which was amazing, I really hope they bring that flavor back.
s.We have been going there for years. While the ladies behind the counters are not particularly friendly, I ignore that because we like the ice creams.
L.My favourite fresh fruit ice cream shop in Henderson/Swanson unlike others which i have tried many in the west Anijas always get the right combination of flavour and quality taste at a fair price, she also does vegan, organic etc which as you would expect costs more but means everyones taste is catered to. Only criticism would be their chocolate ice cream needs to be real chocolate not sprinkles.
D.Popular ice cream stop delicious icecream my favourite is mango $4.50 adult size ice cream.
The caravan size store is small and tucked into a corner which may be difficult at first to spot as you are driving by.

The place has only out door seating with some cover for shade.
The icecream actually is not really tasty 😐or cant taste the flavour.
There is wheelchair parking.
g.Totally affordable, totally wonderful, wide variety of icecreams, milkshakes, thickshakes, and a super sundae! The mixed berry, blue berry, and strawberry were nice (I normally love mango but mango was my least favorite here) but highly recommend passion fruit!💯💯💯 Also had such high quality waffle cones, although cups were also an option😊
S.Yay for Anija's - I haven't had blackcurrant ice cream since I left Canada - a wonderful summer treat. All their ice creams are delicious though and they do a fast service even when packed out with people on a hot summer's day.
q.It's yum, I was slightly surprised that it's just vanilla ice cream with pressed frozen fruit. So, not really fresh. I do have to say the vanilla ice cream has a smooth texture and just the right dense

J.So you get fresh blueberry, strawberry, and mango and banana icecream. The fresh strawberry is not as good as the one you get at Matakana, but if you do not want to drive to Matakana but are craving for a fresh icecream, then this place is not as bad. They are located in Henderson (west Auckland). I do have a feeling they use frozen berries, but that's just me - could be wrong!
