I'm biased due to having known the OWNERS for around 30 years. The staff I'm not in touch with. The last of it's kind, a stand alone, non franchised Pet Shop. Originally it catered for birds only as the name says, with time and pressure it's diversified into catering for most pets. If birds are yr thing, this place is for you, likewise tropical/Coldwater fish & turtles/tortoises. Kittens/pups in very low Ltd numbers. Rabbits/Guinea Pigs available. All assessories for all the above also onsite. Ponds, pumps everything for fish and aquatics. Cages, books,toys, feeds for both seed eaters and Lories. Reptiles kept in limited numbers, usually Beardeds. Parking at the door, public toilet onsite. disabled access no problem.

This place is great. I got 2 Budgies, a fairly large cage, food and toys for $350. The staff were also great. Just a miscalculation in the bill, but we sorted that out too. Would love a more variety of birds next time.😁🙂

It's our place to go for locusts so our frog is well feed. There is always someone to say Hello to, they might even talk back! Such a lovely walk through both shops. We had purchased our little tadpole from the Bird Barn for $1.00 they are getting their money worth out of us in Locusts, 😂🤣

A small but great store. Went to the larger pet stores to find a large harness for my dog, either got sorry, we can order it in or out of stock, just to come to this gem of a store who provided what I was looking for. We bought a tank and gold fish that day, which is highly ambitious as they recommend you have the tank set up for at least a week before introducing fish and with all of her expertise and recommendations the fish are still alive and happy 4 weeks later!

One of the best pet stores ever. They really care about animals there, and the staff are always able to help with any questions. My wife and I bought two cockatiels from them, and they are such good birds, our daughter loves them.

I love the selection of pet outfits products on offer at very good prices. I have owned cockatiels from them before so I always go back to see what birds are available. The staff are very courteous, knowledgeable and willing to give you advice on bird ownership.

Amazing place to come in to contact with birds my daughter and I wouldn't normally see. We spend an hour or so on most weekends at the Bird Barn. The staff are very helpful and patient with my daughter, who is never sure whether some birds are allowed to be petted or not. With the guidance of the staff, she is able to handle some of the birds on display and always has a great time here. Thank you Bird Barn and see you again soon!

Got the most amazing cockatoo baby he is so gentle and chilled out I honestly couldn't have asked for better service. They were great with DNA testing, answering 1000s of my questions with patience and even sending me photos while he was growing up. I spent some time at the store before taking him and very obvious to see the staff love the birds and really know their stuff. So happy I chose this place he is the best bird ever! Great pet shop comprising two shops side by side (with all different species of birds) and also in the other shop next door - (tropical fish, puppies, kittens, bunnies and pet supplies). They have very knowledgeable staff who are passionate about animals and take very good care of them and are also obliging to let you hold the pets. My girls love visiting this place!!

We've bought almost every kind of animal they have here at one stage or another and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. On top of that, the prices are competitive and the staff can help you find what meets your needs for whatever animal you've got. This should be your first, and likely your last, stop for all your animal needs. 👍

This is the place to go if you need supplies or information about birds. The staff are fantastic and kind. There are tons of birds and lizards to see and choose from. There is an ajacent pet store that caters for all other domestic pets to. They staff are better informed and educated than any of the other local pet stores.

The Bird Barn is absolutely wonderful. The Bird Barn stock everything you will need for your bird, from toys-food-cages. So many things to choose from. Great staff who gave me info sheets to take home. The place is clean and tidy and the best birdseed at a very good price. Even if you don't live near Henderson it will be worth the drive.

Unimpressed by the birdfood.The high pro is old and thee variety of seeds unsuitable for medium to small parrots with too much sunflower seeds in it. I am aware high pro is not the main food abd how to use it.The quslity is simply not good enough.Crushed chicken food is jot advisable for parrots,too old to soften and no small seeds.I am sn experienced bird owner snd know what birds need and thst theur food hss to be fresh!
