I have just bought a new washing machine at Easter sale. I had this friendly and professional whitewater specialist, Faris. He was great, he wasn't too pushy or aggressive - just right distance. He was very kind and showed me how to use and he also gave me his honest advice too, which was helpful. The payment was smooth and he typed a detailed comment for my delivery direction, which I find it helpful too. Yesterday my MacBook Pro stopped charging. I though that I have to replace the battery or buy a new charger. Since I bought it from Hary Norman, Mt Roskill I decided to go there. Eventhough the laptop is not with the warranty period the technical staff helped me to figure out the problem without any hesitation. And the Technical Sales officer Fernando said I simply have to buy the code for my adapter. I was delighted by their friendly customer service. The best Harvey Norman in the town! Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Store is jammed pack of goods, enough room to get around store though. I was only coming in to pick a item I had seen online at a good price. Staff member quickly came to ask if I needed assistance as I wandered aimlessly. Took me to the item, then to the cash register, then I was free. Good service, price was right. Store entrance is right on the intersection of the traffic lights. Not a great deal of car parking.

I've bought a Lenovo laptop and OPPO from here recently, and the lovely Rosie helped me both times and was very knowledgable, patient and friendly. When the battery of my Lenovo was playing up I was able to send it back to get looked at (just within warranty) and Rosie helped me again with when Lenovo came back and I got a credit to replace it. She was awesome, and I really appreciate the time and care she took :)

Not the biggest store, but easily the best. Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure you are well looked after. I think Harvey Norman generally has very good staff but this is honestly the store by which all the others should be judged. Having so far bought something from every department (computers, electrical, kitchen, white ware, TV's, small appliances..) I have never had a bad experience. AND on the odd occasion where I have needed help with a warranty product - that was when the service was at its best! 100% recommended.

Harvey Norman Mt Roskill 'After Sales' service is the best I've received compared to other well known megastores I've shopped at in the past. The female technical staff do a superb job ensuring customers are completely satisfied with their service. I was back yesterday purchasing a Samsung A21 for my grandson. Granted, it was $9.00 more expensive than the same one sold by another major store but the relationship established with Harvey Norman Mt Roskill is worth so much more to us. I bought a touchscreen laptop for my grandson from Rosie at the Mt Roskill store. After some initial misinformation about the stylus pen which we understood came with the device, but didn't, Rosie and another very helpful female staff member who suggested trying one of the other pens which wasn't part of the package, resolved the problem to our full satisfaction. Getting the problem sorted did take more time than I had anticipated but to her credit, Rosie did everything right to make sure we walked away completely happy with both the product and service. The pen was a complimentary gesture to make up for any inconvenience to my grandson. It was my grandson who insisted we shop at Harvey Norman as first time customers. And yes, we'll be going back again, thanks to Rosie and the female staff member who stepped in at the right time with the "must have touch screen pen" my grandson had to have.

I have low expectations of big box retailers, and high expectations as a consumer, but to be honest it's pretty hard to fault these guys. We always get great prices, their store to store delivery times are excellent, and they are keen to assist. Their product knowledge can sometimes be not perfect, but generally I am well informed before going and tend to do my own research so for me it's a matter of getting stock at a price I am happy with and these guys have done that for me over 5 big purchases ($1000+ each)

Edit as of 28 February 2020: Shout to Melissa. She helped me all the way through to get a good deal on an LG TV. Even going out of her way to measure the actual dimensions of the device on the showroom. Old review: Although staff are friendly, they still need to get their price match policy sorted out. One rep told me they price match, then I got passed on to another rep saying that they don't.

Fast and good service. Driving into the place is a pain though, and parking may be limited. The range of products seem modest, although it does feel that the lighting needs to be improved as on time of review the far end of the store was a bit dark.

It's a good place with good products of course. But sometimes when I have come into the shop to seek help I can't find anyone, if I do then one points to the other. This occurred somewhere around mother's day where I was wanting further information about a coffee machine and couldn't find any staff to assist me in buying the right one. If you are looking for electrical appliances , electronics and other stuff for your home this is the place to go. Prices are almost always the best and they stock a huge range . Parking is never a problem since they are not located in malls they have lots of free parking. Most branches also have Fuji image plazas and print cost of your photos is very good

All though harvery Norman have a no return policy if we decide that we just dont want it anymore. Well when we went back to reutrn they were extremeley helpfull . . (01/05/2015) Normally Harvey Norman has higher prices as compared to its competitors which is quite opposite to the reputation of their stores in Oz. Yet we have been regular due to their wide variety of products and big range of dedicated experts in different sections which is quite a struggle in many leading electronic stores in Auckland. But it has been becoming a battle to get help from their so called "dedicated" staff recently. Hope it gets better and they start paying attention towards customer satisfaction.
