T.We have purchased on 2 occasions new computers. We were very impressed with Alvin the sales person. Not only did he have an extensive knowledge but he went out of his way to help my 86 year old father into a new computer.
I.Have used this store to purchase all my electrical items (e.g. TVs, laptop, mobile phones, etc) for about 10+ years. Always have competitive rates but also have the best service around. Not to mention whenever products have had issues, they have always replaced it under warranty without any hassles. Have tried other places but no one comes close to these guys!
C.Our experience today is way different to any other time we have ever visited HN. Previously, there were salespeople breathing down our necks and trying to sell anything but this they were all at a polite distance and made us aware they were there if we needed help. We asked questions and for once got sensible answers. Lol they didn't even try to rip us off with an extended warranty. Seems they have learnt from their previous mistakes.
H.Bought a brand new pair of Beats Solo3 in september. I took them back under a warranty to get them replaced, as one of the speakers blew out and wouldn’t play any music. Was told by a pregnant woman behind the I.T counter it would take 3 weeks to send away and prove it was faulty and sort a Replacement 😕.
I went back today to see if anything else could be done. Spoke to a lovely dude named Sam, who went above and beyond and got my headphones tested onsite by an apple tech guy… and replaced on the same day. Thanks Sam! You’re The Sh*t bro😎

T.Great selection and very nicely presented store. There were a few staff aimlessly walking around though and not asking customers if they could help. Vast majority though were really helpful and pleasant.
G.Guess that since we've bought all of our appliances and the majority of our furniture here, we must think it's a pretty good shopping experience haha. We'll give all of the credit to Sam from the appliance side for helping us pick out our washer, dryer, and fridge to start before coming back for more in subsequent trips. Some of the helpers in the bedroom areas were either too new or just not as personable, but still left with some well priced goods. The dressers could be a little more sturdy but they still look good. We used their delivery services for all of it too and all worked out well. The two stores in one are well laid out for browsing and there's always someone around (unless you're trying to avoid talking to any salespeople haha). Look out for sales is key to choosing Harvey Norman over the more discount shops. I'm sure we'll be back for something in the future.

B.We have a great experience with Harvey Norman Wairau. The sales team were helpful in store. We bought whiteware and our move in date got delayed. No issue for Harvey Norman holding the product for us, have made it very easy. Have not had as good experience with another whiteware purchase from a competitor down the road.
A.At the time of review alot of reconstruction and rennovation was going on. Alot of furniture was on sale but due to the nature of the remodeling of the building, there was not a big variety of furniture for purchase. Staff were friendly and willing to help though. Prices are similar or higher compared to competitors.

Talked to another staff member on the phone that I can't remember the name of who even apologised on Westgate's behalf for their screw up. He was really good at explaining the features and efficiency of the machines he showed us and helped us find the perfect ones for our needs. Conan then helped us choose a new TV, and got all the finance sorted with no troubles at all. I don't usually choose Harvey Norman for shopping but I'm really pleased with the service today!
A.It's big store ,separate electronic and furniture, lots of different stuff to find, prices are mid range.
T.Great variety of items, however the sales staff is shockingly bad and are obviously just there for the pay cheque and not to actually make any sales...
W.The shop looks tidy and a big range of products, but the salesman always want to sale you some more expensive stuffs, even you already tell him your budget.

T.I've never had a problem with these folks. I've used their product coverage policy with success (Dyson battery fail after three years) so I trust them quite a lot. I've always been able to quickly get staff attention whenever needed. Parking at the front can be a bit of a squeeze when it's busy but there's loads of parking at the back that no-one else seems to know about.

D.I must say. I don't tend to shop here often & typically like finding my own way around.. Until I met Ash Kalle. He truly went above and beyond for my partner and I. Did about 4x shops here since moving into our new house & he has always remembered us, knowing exactly how to help each and every time. m.Was a good set up and much bigger than our local. 1 sales assistant ruined it for us but after I spoke to the manager I gave an extra star. All and all is an amazing set up and was even offered a coffee while looking at coffee machines.

L.Had our dining set delivered in Glenfield on July 26, 2020 at 830am. Product is fine, but the delivery is disappointing. Crew were in a rush, seem did not care when moving items. Just forced one item in our stairway without due care, putting a small dent in the white wall. Not big enough to cost repair, but annoying to see and could have been avoided. Most careless delivery service I had.
P.Great service! Managed to arrange a hire purchase and picked up the purchase from the store in less than 30mins. The store men was very helpful and made a follow up call 3 days afterward. Top service, expertise and knowledge. Friendly staff and good at understanding what you want/need
M.I've been their customers for a very long time, bought TVs, fridges, microwaves etc in the last 20 years or so. And for good reasons - they seem to have quite competitive price and a good selection. Most recently I bought a new heap pump and had it installed. This ended up cheaper than other heap pump specialists that I received quotes from. And I'm quite chuffed at the quality of the installation work by their contractors.
W.To be frank it's the best electrical technician home appliances furniture superstore in the whole of New Zealand. Very well decorated, well positioned in terms of location and well-stocked.
Staff knowledge is very good and friendly, not-pushy. I bought a simple kettle but the staff took adequate time to explain to me differing customer preference he had come across.
j.They have a decent range, and the occasional really good price. But puzzle, spit the good price.
The guys at the computer area pretend to know what they are saying. But be warned, they have an agenda to sell you what the are incentivised to sell...not necessarily what's best for you. They really don't know much about computers.
Y.There are some fabrics that are only available at Wairau park, being the flagship store. However, this is not only for this store but Harvey Norman prices can vary depending on website or other stores which bugged me. And also depending on the sales staff sometimes they say different things about what they can and can’t do.
But in general their staff are quite knowledgeable about their products and pleasant.

N.Got ignored pretty much for about ten minutes(it was anzac day, so quite busy) until a salesman approached us about what item we wanted to purchase.
He was very efficient, and had us out of the store and on our way with delivery of the fridge the very next day.
The guys who delivered the fridge were great and extra careful with the product.
Will definitely use these guys again.

J.The customer service is fantastic. So switched on and helpful. Prompt and they follow through well as I needed a repair made under guarantee. Also they are happy to replace something under guarantee if its not repairable. Later on ... Unfortunately we found they didn't replace something that we were mislead into believing was available to buy after the purchase of the robot vacuum cleaner. Virtual walls for a robot vacuum cleaner that we were assured existed. Couldn't get a refund or a replacement vacuum cleaner with virtual walls. So to cut a long story short we were lied to initially by the sales people and fobbed off when seeking a replacement robot or refund.
J.Good location, massive store and large selections especially in furniture department. Staff not that friendly in Furniture department. Don't want to generalise but most of them checked us out before decide if they will greet or assist us. I was in my t shirt and shorts. Check out my other photos.
M.Bedding girl was outstanding, happily spent some time with us, good advice and solid product knowledge and very helpful, pity not the same in the furniture dept, a guy was going to catch up with us, never did, we left. Thankfully the bedding dept was outstanding otherwise a decision to spend $$$$ here would be an easy choice to try elsewhere.

Which I picked up today.
I decide to go back this evening to have a proper look and found the same oven for $179.....on a 3 hour special.
Disappointing that no one mentioned thus earlier...
I could of course return it now for a refund and then buy at the cheaper price....I did talk to a sales person but no chance of a discount.....and not really worth worrying about.....would have been nice if they offered me the $20 tho.....

D.There is a sale on at the moment and so I took the opportunity to buy some electronic equipment on special. I got the equipment for a good price but when I got it home I found that it didn't work. Tomorrow I will get to see how good their customer service is and how good their technical support is.
C.Got a new LG dryer. Broke within 2 months. Tried the web chat which was quite unhelpful and got pointed in the wrong direction for servicing. Harvey Norman delivered the product, but were unwilling to place it inside the house and left it in the garage. Now I need to find someone to get it placed correctly.
O.Have always bought electrical stuff from Harvey Norman and always been happy with the choices available plus the great customer service. We had an issue with a 3 yr old tv and their remedy for us was truly amazing.

D.Helpful staff and plenty of stock, I had lots of fun exploring the store whilst sorting out a replacement dishwasher. They also have a pretty good damaged goods section, ideal for those on a tight budget who don't mind the odd scuff or dent (and to be honest, if you have children, a preexistent scuff is worth the discount.) Generally, if you need something, then they have it or can get it.

G.Went here to buy few things recently, I found the service really good. This store has large selection of brands to shop in one place. However this isn't the most economic store for all products. Of course I do my research before I buy my products. Overall I'm satisfied with these guys.
S.Great service. We got a new fridge/freezer from them and due to delays with our new house they stored it in they warehouse for 12 months for free. We even got a price adjustment when the price of the freezer dropped.

R.Experienced true rapture on being given an updated deal, greater than the one I felt I firstly missed out on. On outlining my purchase issue the manager Andy who helped me, had no hesitation in issuing a credit against the item I had paid for but not yet taken possession. That gave me a price for a Navman EZY400LMT Navigator that reflected a deal below the one I was disappointed at having missed. I have already posted on Facebook the gratitude in what was done for me.This positive review will I hope make prospective purchasers, have confidence that reasoned presentation will probably gain a satisfactory result. The service I was given by all staff involved in my purchases, was great and done in line with their respective role limitations.
N.Bought several appliances from this store over the last few years. The aftersales service is generally good, repairs and replacements are handled quickly and reasonably painlessly. However I recommend not using in-store pickup for online purchases because these orders seem to get lost and staff are confused by them.

R.An amazingly large range of well presented goods. Staff are very knowledgeable and assistive. Need to watch pricing as the marked price is invariably more than competitors down the road but if you request some discounting they will offer a competitive price - they seem to have a wider and newer range then other folk and will invariably have all the accessories not available from their core product competitors - I purchased a zone 1-9 DVD/A-C BR player which no-one else had at all - and was able to purchase a gopro7 black unit and all the accessories (travel kit etc) that I wanted where all the other stores I went to only had bits and pieces - in my opinion try best store of its type in auckland
H.I went to look at a Panasonic sound system. Mahendra helped me and I bought the exactly right one for me. No hastles at all. Good advice regarding warrantee. Then drove around the corner to pick up the goods. What a happy place at their warehouse. Susan put through the order and minutes later it was brought and deposited in my car.
A.Great store, customer service is not bad, sales persons are friendly and helpful. Good sales/deals esp. Electronics. We have bought most of our gadgets/devices from here and we have had no issues.
B.I get my pics from my phone printed and enlarged. Get the app wait for the 1/2 price deals. Buy second hand pictures or frames from the opp shop and Hey Kazzam WOW!

S.I was lead to believe that I was buying 5k worth of products that were to be delivered within a week... it ended up taking over a month to get all my products.
Having found my dishwasher and washing machine at the house of the crowd that was suppose to be delivering the good the following week. I got fed up and picked half of the stuff up myself.

P.Harvey Norman in the Boxing Day sales is a real test of patience - and I knew exactly what I wanted. It probably took longer to get in and out of the place in the queueing traffic than I actually spent inside. HOWEVER, amid the frenzy, the staff were very cheerful and helpful and would have carried my item to the car if I wanted. Ka rawe!
A.Harvey Norman is currently renovating their stores in Wairau. This must be a logistical nightmare as they are still fully operational. We read about their "Renovation sale" online and decided to pop in to try and replace our completely munted dishwasher. As we parked we noticed that beds were on special too. Corbin was the salesman who helped us with choosing beds for us and one of our children. He was outstanding. He provided options, and then gave us enough space to discuss the pros and cons before making a decision. He was able to sign us up for a Gem card and when we couldn't decide whether to take a mattress and a base or just a mattress, he took the pressure off by giving us his card to call him once we'd made a decision. Very professional young man.
The appliances sales team was also on the ball and we were able to find a dishwasher within our budget. We ended up using the Gem finance interest free option that Harvey Norman offer. Really useful from a monthly cashflow perspective. What really impressed us was the service we received from The Transport Guys who delivered the dishwasher. The end-to-end Harvey Norman process works, with everyone involved doing their bit to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Thanks Team
K.The shopping experience is one not to be missed. Some weekends you can get a light lunch with cooking demonstrations, coffee from the nespresso demonstrations and even sample some beer brewed instore. Worth a visit. The staff are really helpful especially Gerry in the kitchen appliances section.
A.Have to say that my experience with Gerry the Irishman in whiteware was superb! Super knowledgeable and helpful which made for a fantastic experience. If you need whiteware, go and see Gerry!
J.My Dyson had an issue with the plastic mould around the handle and it cracked, Dyson said this was ware and tare..... Harvey Norman replaced it and payed for it as they didn't agree. Fantastic service and an amazing personable team!! You have my buisness no questions asked.
B.The staff here really know their stuff and are VERY helpful, but without being pushy. Huge ranges available, and if it isn't in store, the warehouse is right behind the building! Very convenient. Worth going a little further if it is not your local.

P.This Harvey Norman is split into two different buildings, with one being dedicated to technology and the other to furniture etc... The selection is one of the best in New Zealand but the experience is somewhat dampened by the very high prices vs other stores. I would highly suggest shopping around before making your decision to purchase. I highly recommend PB Tech.

S.Staff are reasonable, helpful, mostly friendly, and are from a wide variety of nationalities. The prices aren't too bad, can be expensive, so watch for sales and compare prices. I've heard they are good at and are easy to deal with when matching prices. If they offered Fly Buys, it would be bye bye to NL.

I.We had a sit-back with a microwave we bought and was supposed to be delivery on a certain date and wasn't, after talk with the manager he was very helpful and help us out so we could leave the store with our new microwave.

C.Made huge new house purchase $20,000. On the bed purchase 4 weeks of waiting Harvey Norman calls to apologize. Order damaged had to wait another 4 weeks. The slats were wrong. The screws that hold the headboard to the bed have stripped on two differnt occasions. Not to mention the legs had to be replaced.
A.Good selection of homewares including furniture next door. Guys are all very helpful but not to crowding. Go in for those end of month or financial specials and bargain as most electronics have at least 20%

M.I'd like a shop that would give me the best price first off. I have to go there find what i want, go home and search for the product then go back and bargain with them. They ussally check my purchase file then mach the price but there have been a few times that i have had to drive across town and buy from someone else.
