Went to home essential last Sat to check on some cooking utensils. We ended up leaving with 2 Staub. Came back home, referred them to our friends and 2 days later, she came and purchase another Staub. The shop might not be a super shining, flashy one - but don't let its appearance deceive you. Lots and lots of high-quality, branded kitchenware are hidden here. The store owner, Chris is very pleasant to deal with. Definitely will come here for any kitchen needs from now on.

High end kitchen utensils. Found the best price here for the Peugeot Paris Uselect pepper & salt mills. I got the 18cm size.Also a good sized non-stick cast iron bread loaf tin(JO).

Absolutely great service and they matched the price of a competitor after I cancelled my order with them. The knife I had ordered though, had already been dispatched. These guys are quick on the job. So, when I phoned Alarna to say it had arrived even though I had cancelled she couldn't have been more helpful. After sharing that the reason I had cancelled was because I found it slightly cheaper elsewhere she had no hesitation to match the price and refund the difference. I'm so impressed with their customer service.

I am extremely happy with my purchase and the outstanding customer service that I received recently at Home Essentials. I was hugely impressed with the quality and variety of products they have, and how reasonably priced everything is. I will be a repeat customer as will my friends and family. Highly recommend this shop, the person I dealt with went out of her way to get the exact product I wanted. Such good customer service! And not only were they super friendly but the prices were cheaper than literally any other shop I looked in! Heaps in stock too. So impressed!

I cannot fault Alarna Dwyer of Home Essentials Hendersen Branch. Within 2 days of contacting her my Le Crueset kettle was replaced with a far superior one, with no fuss, options given, and just effective communication. Very happy with the outcome and can easily give a 5 star rating.

Top quality outfit. When couriers struggled to deliver our order on time, the owners delivered it themselves. High quality products and exceptional customer service.

If you love to cook or just collecting quality cookware (like me) then you absolutely need to check out this business. They stock all the best brands and the great pricing will blow your mind. You can buy online or in store. If you are coming to the store it can be a little hard to find as it it straight across the road at the lights and then down the back.

We ordered a few things online, including a Scanpan frying pan and a Le Creuset casserole dish. Both arrived really quickly and the quality of the products, as well as the service from the new owners has been fantastic.

I tracked down a bo`rner V6 Mandolin at Home Essentials. I have owned one for 7 years previous and passed it on to my niece. The blades stay sharp forever. The store had an impressive range of kitchen ware and the wustof knife I wanted was not in stock but they offered to mail it to me free of charge when it arrived in store. Fantastic service.

Ordered a full set of pots and pans, amazing customer service, best prices I could find online and super quick delivery. Highly recommend!

What a fabulous shop. Diffinitly worth the visit. Allow enough time to cover the whole shop as there is an item for everyone big or small. Great Xmas shopping. I will be back.

Took some time to locate this store even with Google Maps and being on foot. No sign outside, so God knows how many motorists have given up trying to find it. "A business without a sign is a sign of no business". That said, I was impressed with the range of goods and the price was reasonable.

Have shopped here since the days of the New Lynn store. Always found the staff friendly and helpful. Great range of products, last thing I got was a Cuisinart Ice Cream Churn, great price, best on the market in New Zealand. This store comes highly recommended from me.

My husband was sceptical in the beginning because of the 2 previous poor reviews, and specifically because the price of the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker was more than $250 cheaper than the other two Auckland retailers (Smith & Caughey, Millys) stocking the same product. He was very pleasantly surprised that the product and the price were as genuine as it was advertised on their website. Its a good thing that I couldn't buy a red model the day before as I would have paid too much ! The service was pretty damn good especially when this tiny young lady tried to carry the 12+ kg ice cream machine all by herself to my husband's car. Tonight we get to eat our own home made strawberry chocolate ice cream :) Thanks to The Home Essentials, well done.

This place has a bigger selection than any other kitchen store in Auckland, it's fantastic. Very competitive prices too.

Went there yesterday to buy a sashimi knife, People are very friendly (not over hyped) and wow what a grate range of professional cooking equipment. The price is good nothing over priced thats my future shopping place.
