This is probably my least favourite Kmart in Auckland. Always needs a restocking! And I find the availability of items is much better at other stores. However, I'm looking forward to the when they move into the new premise around the corner, hopefully this will improve quantity and variety of stock.

Kmart Manukau is very handy to me, though I only go there when another Kmart doesn’t have what I am looking for. The store is busier than the other Kmart’s around. So close parking is harder to find. The staff are kept on their toes though are still happy to help. Recommended.

Good thing is open till midnight. Not very organised as the other kmarts. Customer service is not really good. Value for money.

Although the store can get messy fast I saw lots of staff refolding, restocking and cleaning up. Had a lovely staff member help me find what I was looking for right down to the size. Always find that I go in for one thing and come out with 10.

I normally go to BOTANY Kmart where you get used to no help at all and if you find someone its such a mission for them to help. Today went to MANUKAU - what a fantastic store - such lovely ladies helped me, thank you - will be back!

Decent bargains for clothing and household items. Don't like the parking as you will meet some of the worst drivers in Auckland trying to maneuver around that carpark area

A little rough and can be messy when high volumes goes through this place. And high volume frequently occurs due to affordability for a reasonable product. Surprisingly well organised wait outside despite some tough circumstances of food shops within the vicinity. Crowd does their part. We'll done Kmart.

Customer service early this morning was totally awesome, Thank you to the staff who helped me get my basketball hoop in to the trolley and to the front counter and the staff who help me load this in my van. Very helpful and great service.

Decided to go to Manukau as it was closer at the time of visit. Was surprised loss prevention checked every receipt on exiting store and was backed up a little. Henderson seemed to be more random on its checks. Also did not seem as clean overall compared to other stores. However staff were friendly and products were the same.

Kmart is a really cheap place to shop and they have recently started adding some cost effective homewares so great if you are setting up a new flat. Buying from here means you can made it look stylish on a budget. It is a big busy store though so you have to hunt through the isles to find the good stuff.

Very large place, was ok shopping didn't get what i went there for because they were sold out (tights) so purchased other items. Relatively cheap place to shop. NOTE. Should you purchase bras n undies you will need asked if you have any so the tags can be taken off them AFTER purchasing them just in the lobby/entrance. Wont stop me shopping there.

They offer great deals and usually better then the Warehouse. Usually overcrowded and that has been at anytime of the day we have been. Usually messy with clothes and other items strewn all over the place. I don't blame the staff but maybe introducing another store further south could help relieve pressure.

This Kmart is good but not too good as compared to other Kmart store 1st thing this store not having all the items you need very limited stock Parking problem always busy as next to donuts and other shops Checking item availability only is not good idea as We checked online the item we wanted was showing available at this store but after reaching and checking stuff at theirs reception item not available it’s annoying. The staff is good no doubt in it very helpful but overall experience is neutral as you just don’t want to waste your time. They should something to improve the stock availability.

Very good visit to K mart Manukau. Love that they have cheaper prices. Particularly after a bad year of financial struggles. I give them a A+ for friendly atmosphere, willing to serve or assistant. My negative comment is not stopping me from visiting again I like Kmart As for the products line of things which they sell in your store. A lot of the shelfs in the store were empty. I question myself, weather K mart was shutting down.

Kmart is awesome! Decent prices for products weather it be beauty, toys, clothing or kitchenware. It's a great place to pick up every day needs or gifts for the whole family with Christmas quickly approaching. I'm never disappointed when leaving this place. Your certain to find what you need without the worry of breaking the bank!

This store has very competitive prices now. They have a large selection of well priced children's toys all year round. They also carry a pretty good range of low cost kitchen appliances and home decor. There clothes are well made and well priced. It is a very good Store to find a well priced unusual present for special occasions. This store is well worth a look even before The Warehouse.

Unfortunately they were all out of microwaves. Just 2 display models with no prices. Managed to find 1 out of 3 staff who actually offered help rather than just "nah, were out". She not only found prices but went on the depot site to see if there was a store close by that had any. Again none close but appreciated the effort. All this automation, self serve means less staff to interact with. Great variety of items though as I found whilst hunting a staff member. 🙂

Was looking for a variety of ladies Xmas gift packs, I was maybe a little early in the year 10/11/20. Found something and the men's packs were good. Not alot of people have baths though so bath salts is a bit of a waste to me. Lots of good stuff there, just a shame that south Aucklanders seem to be messy and expect shop staff to clean up after them when the make a mess during their shopping selection.

Who does not love Kmart anyway?but this one is better as it is close to another favorite shop Bunnings. This shop is also a bigger one and the queues to the tills are not too long (unsure if it is always the case though)

Overall the Kmart is OK ~ it doesn't have as much stuff as all the other Kmarts do, and it doesn't have the same layout as all the others ~ making it harder to find stuff. It's quite untidy, but as fast the the workers are cleaning up, customers are messing up. So overall still a great place to shop, with good prices.

Good bargain place for Men, Women and children. Most of the time there's specials at amazing prices. The quality of the products have significantly improved in last 5 years. I will not have problem using most of the electronic items. There are Marvel, DC and other licensed T Shirts at $12.

Kmarts awesome and I somehow always end up buying more than what I intended on. Always good when they have things going for cheap like $1.25 adult jandals, 50c small torches, clearance clothes etc. However this Manukau branch doesn't have a proper stationary and electronics area so if you're after sharpies, highlighters, file folders, etc you won't find them here but you will find kid stationary like colourful notepads, unicorn pens, scented pens, crayolas, etc. Also they don't sell electronics i.e. phone chargers, tripods, phone cases, speakers etc that would be in other kmarts stores like Hunters Plaza or Botany. The staff are always nice and friendly though.

As usual the atmosphere was great. Bought V neck T-shirts but wanted more and there was none. A staff member said to try Kmart Manukau. When I got there I found more of what I want. Cheers to the staff member. Awsome

i brought the bagless vacuum on afterpay and it picks up pet hair off the carpets exspecially dog hair. it has a good suction then the warehouse vacuums do. only the warehouse bacuum for a year amd it lost suction this year so i read all the reviews for the kmart vacuums so i had to get one from kmart had no problems with it had it for a month now

Lots of great stuff to buy with plenty of different options. Very trendy cheaper items. The store was clean, well lit and signed to help point me in the right direction. It is mainly self service with plenty of self service barcode readers to check prices but also the odd staff member passing through cleaning up different spaces and able to answer questions.

Manukau City, friendly staff, helpful. Alot of discount sales. Very cheap affordable prices for all the groups. I found they are cheaper then the warehouse in dealing with most of the products. And the quality is longer lasting weather it's clothing, material etc. I rather shop in Kmart. Lest when washing clothing, the threading isn't falling apart while in the washing. Not like warehouse clothing once in the wash I found the cotton starts falling apart.. 💯 recommend Kmart, their products last longer.

From my knowledge, this Kmart has everything any other kmart has EXCEPT electronics. Parking is widely available, but only a few right out front, although all the other parking isn't far at all. Has a sushi bar, dunking donuts and bunnings in the same area. Also around 100m - 150m is SupaCentre

This Kmart is a little bit messy, staff are quite friendly tho. Eventho the place is messy and hard to find stuff, you can ask staff to point you to the right place. This place could get quite crowded at times, I think mainly because of they have very wide range of stuff at reasonable price.

Kmart is a great store but this branch did not have furniture (according to the sales assistant) or their home range was a little limited. Didn't realise this before we drove there, but as the store is so great, we just took a drive to the Papatoetoe branch. Great value for money and some of the furniture rivals IKEA really.

Great service from the Kmart team who handle the "click & collect" online orders. Super friendly, helpful and fast. Even though half my order had to be delivered by courier, the ordering process was quick & easy.

Really like the place.. Has a lot of options in terms of every kind of need you might have. From cycles to gloves, jackets to blankets.. One stop shop for most things u might need. Also the website check ur location and tells u what's available at the nearest Kmart, which I thought is quite helpful. Staff is super helpful.

The only reason it was rated 4 and not 5 was because of the state of their toilet. There was (more than a few hours ago) long dried excrement all over toilet seat and ground. Toilet paper and hairball in the sink which was blocked. It also stunk to high heavens. I doubt it had been checked by staff all day. There are great bargains here, good quality household items. There is a need for more clothing for plus sized women (18+). Also, the checkout system needs tweaking; last time I visited, 3 people had problems with their self serve checkouts and there was only 1 staff who was there to help. I ended up leaving the items behind, as I didn't have time to wait around. The staff need some customer service training

Kmart is good place to visit for shopping. Kmart always has low prices with quality stuff. It's a large store and has alot of variety in the stuff. Need more people to stack the stuff back on the racks. The restroom is hard to find and you have to ask someone to find it. There is no sign for the restroom.

Since kmart changed the layout you cannot find stuff. There is random stuff in shelves where it doesn't make sense. Some of the staff dont know where things are. And I think the check out is in a weird and awkward place as there are ques in the center and people steal from here as it's easier for them now. But good prices and selection of things.

Love Kmart but find it quite annoying having my handbag and shopping bags searched and receipts checked every time I shop. And the fact that they don't have newspaper at the self checkouts... how on earth are you meant to protect your new plates and cups you've just brought from smashing. Other than that, the bargains I find here are awesome and what keeps new wanting more. However once their online store becomes available I will be shopping there instead

I love Kmart but they hardly have anything in stock with this branch, everything is always on the floor hard to find anything on the hangers because the sizes on the clothes don’t match the sizes on the hangers. Other than that everything’s ok

This Kmart still has the ’old’ layout, i.e. checkout near the exit which I prefer. However, it doesn’t have a camping section which is the only reason I went there. Had to drive to the Papatoetoe Kmart.

Of course there are quite a few nice offers and cheaper alternatives at Kmart as a store they are providing a very decent approach to window shopping experience. The things are well stocked and also labelled and placed correctly, not a lot staff on floor to help around as to match from the number of customers walking in. Alternatively they have many scanners placed around the store to check prices for the commodity you want to buy and also there is such a wide variety of things you can get from there.

Medium sized store with a good range of house hold products and clothing. It's sensibly and logically laid out. It more organised and tidy than The Warehouse. But production range is less than The Warehouse. One queue feeds a number of self operated checkouts. It's fast and efficient for people who don't mind self service. There is alway staff to help out should you get stuck. Good size car park, however they also serve a number of different stores in the area. So parking space is often scarce.

KMART BOTANY - Brilliant with new looks and lot more items, nice clean and new set out. ONE DISASTER - small area at self service checkouts, small table after scanning. Things just falls off the table. Especially during XMAS & NEW YEAR huge lineupof people waiting... very slow at self service checkout. Needs more Staffs to operate checkouts for faster service. CLOTHING SIZES - they should have larger sized clothes. As not everyone is Super Stick Skinny.

I generally love shopping at Kmart but last night my partner and I were very disappointed after our shop. We grabbed a newborn 5 piece outfit and didn't bother looking to see if the hat and mittens were ok, however, when packing it into the baby bag we noticed pink bubblegum all through the inside of the hat and mittens. Quite upsetting as you don't usually expect to go in and purchase something that is faulty. Definitely learned my lesson and will still continue shopping at Kmart but thought to share my latest experience as it was not nice. This was at the Manukau, Auckland store on the 2/11/2017.

This is one of my favourite low cost shops. I buy clothing, gifts and homewares here. The only downside is it can be a little crazy busy at peak times getting through the checkout.

Large store with many items not seen in West/Central Auckland Kmarts. There is a lack of small electronic items and stationary that other stores stock. The store is also lacking the modern refresh that other kmarts have undertaken and it feels like a large commercial warehouse rather than a store. With the addition of stationary and a overhaul, itll be a great store.

There needs to be more variety for boys clothes especially sizes 8 and up. Shoes also there is not much variety compared to girls, it's ridiculous. But overall Kmart is very affordable. Manukau needs to catch up with the rest of the Kmart, decore is shameful lol

A good range of things in this Kmart, does need to up its game in the bedroom and homewares department. Make sure you check to see if what you want is there before you go, chances is it won’t be, so just double check!!
