Not a store I frequent at all. I asked Mosdaf for help finding specific board games for my grandkids. He was very pleasant and went out of his way to assist me. I couldn't be bothered with the long self service queue however.

Enjoyed this kmart! Fast friendly customer service at the click n collect station and up front where I needed to pay cash for a plush unicorn, that was only $9. My daughter was stoked. As usual great prices good quality!

Had a lot of ladies clothing on special for $3.00 so was able top pick up a few bargains. From the looks of things new seasons clothes are starting to hit the shelves and there are some very nice things in store for everyone. TBH what seemed to be missing and I put it down to the COVID pandemic staff was almost non existent. I saw the security personnel at the entrance/exit and only one other person at the self service checkouts. It was really sad to see but very understandable. Take care out there and stay safe always Peeps💕💕🌹

Good store location, always busy, good product range to choose from and decent prices, better quality than the Warehouse but cheaper than Farmers. Long operation hours into the night but expect a long queue at self checkout. Really good ranger of Xmas decorations to choose from and at affordable prices. See my photos.

This was the time i bought a paddling pool from here for the second time. The visit was ok, but im very disappointed that this pool , as like the first one about 3 years ago,seems to have a slow leak in it ??. We have only used it twice since putting it up just before Christmas, and just after new year , the top level went flat and half the water came out. I pumped it up again , and the next day after work , i noticed that both levels had gone flat , and all the water had run out. I tried ringing the store on Monday 10th ,with no success at all, and again i tried on tuesday , using all the 6options they give you, still no one wanted to pick up the phone. I am very annoyed now , and i intend to go and demand a total refund and an explanation.

A department store like there is in NZ. Most average quality items but still useful, hence my recent visit in it. An enjoyable smell of inexpensive plastic, just to set the tone of your visit. Staff is helpful and friendly

Kmart the place we all have to go. We always go to Kmart when at St Luke’s. The Kmarts are mostly all set out the same so you know where to find what you are looking for and they always have plenty of stock.

I really enjoy shopping at Kmart, I get good quality fitness gear at great prices I still have a weight vest that I brought 4 years ago and I still use it. My only grievance is that it's not locally/N.Z owned meaning that the money goes off shore (Hence the reason for my 4 stars) Otherwise besides that, I have no problems with it.

Went in to pick up a click and collect today, so many people not following the guidelines and turning up without booking. The staff were informative, clear and helpful in a very stressful environment. The sheer amount of complaints and nagging from impatient customers was outstanding and the staff dealt with it fantastically. Impressed.

Always great bargains at Kmart. I got some cozy lounge wear, so much cheaper than elsewhere. Let's see how it washes. Plus some great foldable storage cubes to fit an 8 cube shelving unit (also from Kmart but online). I like to mix the patterned and the plain ones - black, beige and white/black magnolia

Overcrowded I felt, no room to distance from people waiting inline and customers shopping close by. Was a long line to get to the checkout but went very quickly. Staff were very friendly, helpful and calm.

Had to pick up due to covid restrictions. St Lukes was the only store that had most of what we wanted. Was hard to find the pick up place due to never been to St Lukes before. However lovely gentleman at loading docks gave me directions. From there pick up was breeze.

Mainly only go so the wife can got to Kmart and the Movies. Parking can be an issue considering the massive carpark. Alot of time I go, non disabled ppl parking in disability spots. There are security patrolling in golf carts but don't see them enforce the Disability Parking spots which I find very frustrating.

An amazing place to buy anything and everything. They have stationary, kitchen, furniture, toys, clothes for babies and old people. Huge shop and plenty to choose from. Depending on time of the year you'll find different item sold here. Open 7 days a week.

Watch out The Warehouse, the Aussies are here and doing a great job! Well sourced merchandise at low price points delivers good value to shoppers IMHO. Assortment and displays are well executed. Good traffic on a weekday afternoon. Self checkout kiosks are easy to use and minimise queues. Price checkers well positioned throughout store. Store was clean and tidy. Particularly liked the homeware and furnishing section which is relatively new.

Would be 5 stars but found it hard to find the store, esp with the mall being shut due to lockdown, but once i found the store, the people were lovely, had my products ready for my click and collect order, were good at masks and sanitizer, etc. Really happy with the experience once finding the store.

Click and collect procedures during Lockdown 3 must be better communicated. The email confirming that the goods are ready for collection can give some description of the procedure like parking in a designated bay and calling the mobile number on the signboard.

With lockdown in place, kmart was nice and easy to do click and collect ordered my order yesterday and received msg that it was already ready to be picked up, super fast and satisfied with this experience.

Increasing to four stars as post this, the staff called up to understand the situation, apologise and offer a refund. On Sunday. 06 October my wife and I went to the Kmart store in the St Lukes Mall, Auckland. We saw some Christmas trees that were on display. One of them had a round placard on it which mentioned it was tree C, and the price for which was $25.We bought one of them, and after coming home when we opened it, it was nothing like the one on display in the store. The height was much smaller than what we saw, and even the colour of the leaves was very dull. Later this evening we went back to the store to confirm if the both were similar. We found the tree on display which still had the placard (with the tree C, and $25 on it) on it, and we found out that the both were different. We immediately asked one of the store person nearby. The person advised that if the both are indeed different, we bring it back and exchange for the right one. A couple of hours later we return back to the store for the exchange, and we are told to pick the right one and come back to the counter for the exchange. And then we notice that there are no trees similar to the one on display. And also notice that the placard missing from the tree. We go to the counter and ask for some assistance in finding the right one. A person comes along and after a bit of walking around the aisles and checking in the system, advises that the item had the wrong placard on it (which is when it began to make sense to us as to why the placard had been taken off from the tree ONLY after we enquired about it). And then we are told that the tree actually costs $49 (i.e. almost double the price of what we paid). And upon a little more closer inspection on the one on display, we see a little placard on the behind of the tree with just the alphabet C. And the store person rips it off in front of us. And we also find the original placard with the price in between other boxes. A photo of the original placard, and the tree are attached. Note that the board with all the tree models and prices on it was not initially there. In the end we ended up paying double the price. Overall, we were unhappy with the whole process: - Understand this may not be false advertising, but for no fault of ours we had to do rounds of the store. As both of us work during the day, it is only the evenings we get to spend time with each other. And our whole evening goes in disassembling the tree and packing it back in the box, and running to the store again for the exchange - Though unhappy, we would have felt ok, if we were told it was a genuine mistake. But after coming back for exchange and noticing that the placard was missing. And to find it hidden amongst other boxes highly disappointed us. - And most importantly, there was no apology for the mistake of Kmart, nor for our personal time lost A highly unsatisfied customer.

I just came back from a wee trip to k mart. Got some candles, a queen sheet, office chair etc... It was a busy ol' Saturday there! By the time I've done collected all my gatherings, I noticed the line for the self check out was miles bloody long! It was a sea of people having to deal with self checkout machines that was halting progress. Get some humans there Kmart. I could rate you lower than 3 because I love some cheap imported products

It wasn't too busy last night, but so many uneven floors, which are mostly taped with signs to inform people but we had to inform the security of more holes and uneven floors around the store. The shelves were unfortunately not stocked or updated and lots of empty shelves with no signs if out of stock. Very hard to find staff to help in the sections as well.

If you are on a budget and want stylish but good stuff Kmart is the place to shop. I highly recommend Kmart, they're always up to date with trends in furniture, household items, clothing to name a few. Service with a smile and helpful to customers.

Great value especially for life's essentials . Has treasures to be found. Cotton clothing is becoming more difficult to find and they have a good selection. Has a large range including home wares, clothing, toys, stationary and books. Due to its popularity and depending on the time it can have a very long queue, don't be put off because it does move surprisingly quickly.

Kmart is one of those places where for some things (if it's made of no more than 2-3 detachable parts) it's the best place to get some pretty good products cheaply. But for complex stuff, which could potentially not fit well together, well you get what you pay for. However for a place on the low cost end, I do like their designs.

Good place to score some bargains on everyday items. Quality wise, I think The Warehouse has better quality in my opinion. Stock sells pretty quickly at this location, so if you see something you want instore, just buy it as it probably won't be around in the next few days. Some areas are a bit cluttered, and the price labels are always mixed up on the store shelves so check carefully before buying. It's mostly a self-checkout store which can often have long queues wrapped around from one side of the store to the other. You get what you pay for at Kmart. Avoid at busy times, unless you are prepared to wait in queues.

It like most kmarts can get extremely busy ahead of time, especially since it's in the mall itself. This means the line often wraps around the store blocking off certain aisles etc. It click and collect is good though straight forward and easy to understand.

Always have such a lovely time when visiting here. Love the customer service and also the stock is always there for what I'm looking for. Ashley and Margaret are definitely amazing staff here I forgot the niuen ladies name with her hair always back in a bun and the lovely tongan lady who's always bringing stock out. Honestly awesome staff. Would love to see more options for bigger ladies in the dress and pants range. But overall amazing.

Very spacious.. Lots of things in hundreds of designs and colors.. Many products are very economic in price and of good quality.. Worth a walk around.. Go when you have an hour to spend.. Clothes, shoes, jackets, toys, games, electronic goods, stationary, household things and cookware and a hundred more things !! It's always chaos in this store. There are no prices on many items. Prices are often in the wrong location so you don't end up purchasing something you want because you don't know how much it will cost. The self checkout located in the middle of the store needs more staff. Good selection of stuff at cheap prices.

Easy shopping by going in and getting what you need without the big crowds if you go early. Staff were helpful when asking if there was any available stock of a product. Only one down thing was that it needed to get more stock in. But other than that it's still a great store.

This is my local Kmart and I come here often, even though the queue at times is ridiculous and reaches half way around the till area. They stock most of the usual stuff you'll find in any Kmart across New Zealand, however not a lot in the baby department. This store is better for homewares.

A very smart looking store with a lot of products. Can get quite busy at times and can be a bit daunting with there only being self checkouts but it's still good. The only thing is that for some reason when I have a specific product I want to get they tend to be out of stock of it. So if you have something in particular in mind, I suggest phone ahead first.

Nearly has everything you need. Some of the workers are racist, so if your an islander. Beware to show your receipt at all times and have your bags checked. Which I totally understand, but at least check other people aswell. Not just dark skins. I too dont like the fact that the security can just press the alarm doors when they feel like it, cause me and my husband walked out once and the alarm went on, they checked our bags and found nothing. Then the security said that its the people on the cameras that did the alarm and apologized...

I am a regular costumer. Usually is pretty fine. I just got really annoyed at the fact that during Christmas eve I spend 20 min on the express line to buy just last minute things for home. And the lady in the checkout refuse to sell me a bottle of wine because I didn't have id on me. This might seem normal but I am 30 years old. I went with my scrubs after work and I have documentations that even the police accepted. I explain to her that because I pay with my phone I am a usually costumer of them and no one ever had ask me for my ID. Then I didn't had a physically one. She just refuse.. so basically I wasted 30min and I walked without what I needed.

From my understanding, all Kmarts have the same/similar store internal structures. Therefore, in terms of product availability and navigation, this Kmart is great. However, when this store gets busy, like during school holidays and/or time before Christmas, this store becomes chaotic. When you're lining up for the checkout, due to the questionable placement of an unnecessary high divider, you cannot physically see which checkout machine is available. Moreover, most of the checkout options are machines, so there are many errors which slow the line down. It's been like this since the opening, and the fact that they haven't done anything about it, speaks a lot about the nature of this Kmart. TLDR: don't come here when it's busy.

There is something comforting to me in the layout of a franchise store. I kind of know where to go to find the rest of my family when we have all gone "to browse". We visited the US in late 2019 and when we visited the KMart today my husband commented that it felt a little like Walmart. My teenage daughter loves to shop here. Today it was her go-to for school shoes. We don't have a KMart in our hometown so it is a choice. We recommend that people try it.

Cost effective place to shop for all your family needs, from clothing, kitchen items, bathroom ware to small furniture items to turn a house into a castle, most certainly NOT CHEAP AND NASTY, excellent quality, love the simple store layout, easy to find items that you want to buy, sadly I couldn't say the same for the check out scanning machines, nothing beats human interactions at the checkouts, fast, less queues, I take a list and preferred to be in and out.

Man, I love Kmart. So affordable, such variety and the quality seems to be just as good as the rest of shops nowadays. Places that pride themselves on good quality are just made in the same budget third world factories. Why not pay $6 rather than $60? Only issue here was the checkouts. Often a long line and takes a little while to get at the checkout. However, the staff roaming around the store were incredibly lovely and helpful (knew where everything was, smiley and interacted with my toddler). Great experience overall. Only lost a star because of the queues.

K mart St Lukes mall is a multi product and range super shop. Right from kitchen items, clothing for Men, women and kids, toys, accessories, footwear, the furniture you get all under one roof. The most exciting part of K mart is - they are open till midnight, people working late evening can shop easily.

Love this particular Kmart as it has a good layout and always seems clean and organized compared to other Kmarts in Auckland. Only trick is to not visit here on the weekends as the lines get very very long and you will be waiting in line for a considerable amount of time. As it is based in the mall it does get quite busy but is great it still opens till midnight even when the mall is closed.

At KMART, st Luke's there is variety of selections of goods to your taste from clothes and accessories to toys furniture, garden warehouse, household items and what not. The only thing I don't like is the long queue at the checkout

My daughter and I were doing some shopping at St. Lukes and we dropped in to Kmart for some clothes for her. Kmart has a pretty wide range of good products in most categories and whilst she was looking at clothes I decided to look at the electrical equipment to see if I could find something to replace the $20 rubbish headphones my son had been provided with at his school, and which had failed twice. I ended up buying a $10 headset 🎧 - children's noise-limited headphones. Hopefully the new headset won't break as easily as the school headset did. My son says these new ones sound a lot clearer. 👍 👍But that is Kmart all over - if you need something, then the chances are that you'll usually be able to find something fit-for-purpose and of reasonably good quality and at a reasonable $price at Kmart👍, so head over there first for a look-see. Highly recommended. ✔️ 👎The only real criticism I have of Kmart is the sometimes quite long queues caused because they seem to have now completely replaced their human checkout tellers with self-service checkout terminals. I have a very low patience threshold for such queues 😠 and I generally walk out having bought nothing, rather than suffer a queue experience. If I can't easily find what I want elsewhere, then I'll return when they're not so busy.

Yeah, it’s a Kmart? Like every other Kmart, I still don’t get why the checkouts are in the middle of the store, makes little to no sense for me. A little small. I guess if you need to go to Kmart there’s nothing particularly wrong with it. I do quite like the centre that the Kmart is in though, nice and open and you easily spot out the Kmart. Great prices and great products. They're open till midnight so it easy for late night shopping people. Some of the brands are not in other stores. Here you could get basic things you need with reasonable price. The surrounding is consist of clear areas and divided car parking slot. Kitchen department had empty spaces. Got my machine though. Milk frother not in stock, but staff member was very helpful. Will get one next week when in stock. This unit is also very well priced compared to other shops. Although que seemed long, que time was perhaps 3 to 5 minutes. Didn't feel long at all.

Atrociously messy, comically chaotic, hilariously busy, and wildly understaffed by the world's Semi-Finalists of the Galactic Apathetic Employee Awards. That said, this one is... absolutely no different. At least it's consistent! And clean. And bright. And strangely over-stocked in pastel-coloured 3-packs of rubber spatulas, which was exactly what I needed at 11:34pm on the Tuesday night when I hurried into this specific Kmart. Does what it says on the tin, as far as K-Marts go.

You can find anything and everyrhing for real good prices. Generally speaking quality is good for the price you pay, however you can find bad quality stuff too. Customer service is really lame. There's a lady at the checkout area, and she's either too busy talking with her workmates or supervising all the self checkouts and can't really help customers.

Great products and prices. Unfortunately the staff and customers come from a lower socio-economic demographic to my usual store and they seem to lack basic social awareness. Staff had a massive cage with one product on it right in the middle of the entrance/exit and were just chatting. Customers and staff seem to have no clue of what is going on around them and don't stand to the side to let people past. Children seem to be left mostly unsupervised and block the path.

I buy dog poop bags from here and most of the time they're sold out so now I stock up any chance I get (same goes for cotton pads and q tips). Great place to go buy almost whatever you need for your home and many more things you didnt know you wanted or needed. The store is pretty big and has everything from toys to beddings to small kitchen appliances. The aisles are roomy enough and they have different sized shopping carts for your different shopping needs. The prices are pretty fair and you do get what you pay for. Still, their collection of dinnerware is great. My wife would probably buy the lot if she could. The only reason they didnt get a 5 star rating is that the "self-checkout" machines are finicky and will quickly give an error if you move anything around. It gets annoying to receive errors several times just because you need to move stuff to make room for all the items your buying.

I had a good experience of special deals on a lot of items .I bought a bathroom scale for $19 single battery safe fitting ( lot of scales have pins @the battery place which often breaks & it's gone ) this scale has totally safer way to set it in safe & lasting a single battery.also has a lot of measures in there a great buy . A similar scale will cost you around $100 + in other shops not to be named. Many specials were on but I have them @ home. It's really good people should shop around before buying can save you heaps.

A large floor space with much better quality than the warehouse, but at the price-range lower than the warehouse. I used to hate shopping at Kmart, BUT it's now one of my favourite place. The quality has been improving, while still maintaining wallet friendly price tags. Clothing sizes have much wider range, so not just plus sizes clothes. Self check out counters are widely available, so even the queue looks like long, it moves really fast. Online experience isn't as good, unfortunately; as the business gives much higher priority to in-store shopper than their online customers: If you think that you can beat in-store customer by placing your order online, then you're wrong. Their website also messed up, so although the website says that the branch have an item on stock, in real life, the store might not have it at all.

Really good prices for pet toys and equipment, if you can find the prices which are often missing which can be pretty annoying. Also the queue was outrageously long so I gave up and returned things to the shelf and left.

+ Really great homewares area. I love a good Kmart, this ones ace. They have a lot of bedding and ornaments for your room. They also have a large range of clothing, kids, woman’s and men’s, and they also have a great range of masks, foot masks, hand masks which I found and thought were pretty great. - just like any Kmart, a little messy, a lot busy and you have to cue for quite a while throughout the day (especially your lunch break). Christmas is a nightmare.

This store has recently been refurbished, and the result is great. They have a huge range of stock, and the prices are still low. I particularly shop there for the great range of art supplies (both for adults and children). Kmart St Lukes is open until midnight every night, which is a recent discovery - if you go after 8pm there's no queueing as someone mentioned in an earlier review.

One of my fave Auckland Kmarts. The staff are always knowledgeable and eager to help, store is always tidy and well maintained. Can sometimes be tricky to find things but the staff are always happy to help you out and never make a fuss.

Decent Kmart, open till 12 and very easy to park when most of the mall closes. Day time queue to pay can be 10mins.

Regulation Kmart store with a large variety of products. Very busy on the weekends and holidays. The staff always look overworked and panicked. They do a great job though. The checkout queues can be very long on the busy days, which frustrates many shoppers. The prices are always competitive. Store opening hours till late night are a big plus.

Bargains galore ! A huge range of Children's and Adults clothing at reasonable prices. There is also a large homewares section with almost everything to outfit a flat or house. Excellent value for those on a budget and aren't brand conscious. The St Luke's branch has tidied up it's act and is far more organized. That been said they need to keep the shelves cleaner and stocked at all times.

Kmart St.lukes is à department store situated on the top floor of the complex. They stock various items of homeware at very competitive prices. I have visited this store a few times for clothing and always found what I needed. There are fitting rooms so you get try on anything beforehand. I like this store. However the complex can get very busy at this time of year so if crowds make you anxious visit early around opening time.

I don't like the fact that you don't find any staff at all on the floor and it is really hard to navigate the store as it is too big, however, once you get familiar with the isles, you can find nearly everything.

Tbh I only went there because i was meant to be packing and i felt like procrastinating. It worked ended up spending about 20 minutes there plus 4 minutes in the massage chair on the way out. That was probably the highlight. Worth both dollars i spent on it. As with any Kmart it is much cheaper to leave the missus at home. There were a variety of copper baskets and bathroom that I'm sure she would have needed and would have ultimately looked great in the pile of junk in the garage that she desperately needed. Overall rating 6/10 but I will definitely return... because she will make me and I like nothing more then waiting as she spends 45 minutes looking at the make up section when we were just popping in for a vase for the table. If I was going to give kmart 1 piece of advise it would be.... get some couches and a large TV playing sports. 90% of the guys in your store don't want to be there and only follow their partners around your store because it's all we can do to stop our partners buying 3 of everything and trying to fit it into our Nissan Note to take home. If the guys are distracted they will succeed but we will care less because we didnt miss the game. Finally this isn't in Kmart but checkout my cat.

Kmart specializes in catering to the middle class . It seems they can read the minds of it's customers - be it the kitchen or the wardrobe or festive times - they make it worthwhile for all of us. It's been my store for ages and shall always remain close to my heart.
