Kmart has become a very popular for the last few years. Opening long hours. You always see many people shopping there. It is self service. Not easy to find a staff to help you out if you want to locate an item. Sometimes you need to spend some time to search for the item you want. The check out queue is always long. Be prepared you have enough time and not rushing to shop.

Decent Kmart. Clean and open 24/7. So if you want to buy a duvet at the crack of dawn, you can. However, most of the aisles tend to be empty majority of the time, especially after 7pm. So unsure if you can find that duvet in it even if it is open. Plenty of parking options since it is in Sylvia Park.

As is well know, very good prices and decent quality. A 12$ non-stick and induction capable pan has worked very well for me for over a year. That's bloody good value.

This store is beat and tidy and staff friendly and knowledgeable. I am finding each store differs, some have stuff in an untidy state others like Sylvia Park have staff being proactive. Thumbs up to Sylvia Park.

Sylvia park has gotten cooler and more shops and eateries. There is alot of construction works still and not sure if that is the reason why there are lots of traffic around the centre or if it was just that busy. Will be good to see once that's all done. Parking can be a problem on special days. Easter was crazy since restrictions lifted

NZ biggest shopping mall as far as I know. Used to be super crowded and hard to find parking. But with recent car park upgrades, there are plenty of car parks. There are so many famous outlet shops in this mall including culture kings. Great cinema and great location when you got money to burn

If you're going to catch Covid/Omicron, this is probably the place with all the close contacts, and hundreds of people milling around. However, pretty much everyone was wearing masks. Always nice to visit SP once in a blue moon. Oh, and Wifie found great bargains at Zara.

Nice large Kmart store in the Sylvia park shopping mall. The overall area is large and the product selection is well displayed. The layout seems easy to navigate as compared to other Kmart stores in Auckland. The staff are nice and helpful. The store is easily accessible by road or public transport, given the handy location. Ample car parking is available in the mall area, however it can be full on busy days. Well recommended.

They have a great selection of items, but I have always thought it would be easier if they had a mobile app in order to view their items easily without having to browse through the whole shop in person! Late at night visit.. the store was a wee bit messy especially in the men's clothing department Store not busy but constant PA announcements for staff to attend checkout etc became annoying. At the self-checkout 2 staff members were talking and laughing loudly. Big great space located in what used to be Countdown in Sylvia Park. Staff members are sparse, and plenty of barcode scanners; so you can easily check the price of the item that you're interested in but it's a big challenge to find our where an item is located.

Ive been going there at random hours and security team is always so friendly. Staff members are approachable and will drop what they do to come and help u out or look for an item that is in stock. Best kmart to go to at night when there is no traffic of people and you have an easy going shopping experience. I can spend an hour in there interrupted and because of the size of the warehouse, you can get that cardio in there too 😂😂

Just another Kmart in another shopping centre. Can get very busy, with that stock on certain items can run low and the place can become quite disorganised. The pay stations in the middle of the shop does not make sense at all, it should be at the exit to allow for a better flow through the shop. I'm happy to not buy from them and rather support small and local.

The item i wanted to purchase had the wrong price on the shelf ($10 instead of $24), when i was paying i realised and asked for help to a lovely girl (i think was Joanne, the name on the bedge was partlially covered), even if she was extremely busy with other customers she went back to the product shelves twice and adjusted the price. I felt a bit guilty to ask for help because the staff was really really busy but i'm really grateful for thehelp received. Thank you.

About a month ago my nephews bike that I purchased came with a missing piece. Long story short... the staff members went out of their way to retrieve the bolt off another bike. It took 2-3 hours to get it and although I had two grumpy kids with me I managed to leave the store with a happy birthday boy. The bike shouldn't have been missing the piece in the first place but they went above and beyond just for my nephew that was having a "wheels" birthday party that same afternoon. Thank you so much, I really do appreciate it

I got stopped by security walking out and was made to go back to the checkout and ask for them to search for my receipt, then open my bag for search, for no apparent reason since Id paid for the two items I'd brought, but unironically these guys could punch me in the gut and I couldnt care. They coudld stab me in the neck and i'd thank them. Everything is like 90% less than regular retail value and if theres something I need; they have it.

This store has well stocked shelves with a good range of items. Don't wander in for a browse unless you have good self control because there are lots of little bargains and useless items that nobody ever really needs but we always tell ourselves that we do. Nek minute you need a trolley and of course they are stacked conveniently throughout the store. Whomever selected the product and designed the layout deserves a pay rise.

I appreciate that this place is 24/7. Tidy, easy parking and plenty of trolleys. You’ll generally find what you need here although the place is a little empty compared to what I’ve found previously. I’m guessing that would be the case with most Kmarts due to the current Covid situation. Would’ve been 5 stars but have often found items that are indicated as “in-stock at Sylvia Park” on the website, I can’t actually find in store. Has happened on at least 4 occasions. Regardless, would still recommend.

Located in Sylvia Park Mall, busy location. Store seems to be midsized for Kmart with slightly less offerings. On my visit appeared to be short stocked, possibly due to Covid19 shipping problems. Little variety especially electronic goods, with certain items spanning gaps in product. Store was very tidy and everything appeared fresh and new.

Kmart Sylvia Park is one of my 2 favourite Kmart stores and it is now open 24/7. The other one is in St Luke's. There's not a lot to add really, except that all merchandise is of pretty good quality and if something needs to be exchanged for some reason, Kmart staff are always happy to oblige.

I genuinely hope Bella should be rewarded for the effort she puts in to her job & the counters operating. I can't believe how young she is & had the crazy counters all in control, so many returns came in all at once, I Thoroughly observed her actions. With that amount of pressure being on her own with approximately 40-50 customers at the counter not including the ones queuing up, anyone can have break down then & there, I watched her go from one counter to another, at the same time dealing with a huge amount of returns, not once would you have seen her roll her eyes, or tired of serving many different queries. She asked Roshil for help & he immediately refused Bella with an attitude despite seeing how hectic it is was at the counters. After being served we walked off with our shopping, and find Roshil smashing trolleys carelessly at the entrance not busy at all. Quite disappointed to see staff members (bella) needing a hand with controlling the counters yet others are just killing time acting busy smashing trolleys trying to keep his makeup intact. Bella should be acknowledged for her hard work she puts in to kmart other companies would love to hire her & her commitment withwith everything she does. I have been to many kmarts & Bella is one staff member that has caught my eye. She deserves a promotion!! If Roshil holds a title of being a supervisor, then based on my observation he should be demoted. Not setting an example for staff members by being lazy. Well done Bella! You will be successful!

The kmart on Sylvia Park is a great addition to the shopping centre. All the usual sections and affordable peices you are used right next door to the posh brands and the great vaeiety of Sylvia Park's foos court. A winning situation.
