Super awesome little local yarn store! I love the wide range of yarns and all the needles and notions you’d need. But even better is the helpful advice you get when choosing yarn for a project- love the personal touch!

Amazing yarn store in Auckland’s delightful Parnel area. Great mix of yarns with many excellent NZ yarns featured. There are many classics including Rowan, Cascade, Zauberballs but for me I am in love with the awesome local options. Beautiful possum yarns were on my list today! Great selection of needles (Chiaogoo, Hiya Hiya, Addi) notions as well as some lovely stash bags. Highly recommend this store if you are hunting for great yarns. Service was super friendly, welcoming as well as very knowledgeable. AAA+

Allanah and her team offer the kindest service to crafters of all abilities. She has a great range of yarn and accessories, and offers classes and support. Her online shop is fabulous if you can't get into town, and delivery is quick. Time in her shop seems to slow down, you can spend many happy hours there.

Best wool store in New Zealand! Such a beautiful and extensive range of wool including locally Nz made wools. They are super knowledgeable and helpful with advice too. Well worth a visit!

Fabulous wee gem! I was taken to the store when visiting Auckland last year and was completely taken with the variety of yarn, the knick-knacks and notions and best of all the assistance I received while dithering about what to buy and then what I was going to knit with it. I signed up for the emails and they are chatty, informative and friendly, I look forward to reading the wee articles that they add. Shopping online has proven to be hassle free and I will continue to keep supporting this wee business at the top of the North Island from my home in the middle of the South Island. Cheers, Louise

Such a treasure trove of beuatiful yarns and ideas. I love going to the shop and the online site if fab too. Alanna is particuarly amazing at helping find a design and making those wee alterations to it too.

This is my favourite wool shop in Auckland and I love disappearing into the treasure trove of beautiful wool within. Alanna and her team are always so lovely that I never fail to find help and inspiration.

I really love visiting (and purchasing) at Loopine Wool Co. Alanna and the team are always so friendly and helpful, but never pushy. Their selection is superb and the way the yarn is displayed and organised makes it easy to navigate. Can't wait until the next time. The latest completed garment lot was purchased there - Cascade Yarns, Eco and Hemp (sport weight). Made a Maiden (Libby Jonson) with it and love it.

Possibly my favorite find in Auckland. I'm a regular and have been shopping with Loopine for a few years now, the team are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Beautiful range of indie dyed yarns from local NZ suppliers, plus long running classics. Good range of tools, notions and patterns. Would recommend a visit for any knitter or crocheter. Wonderful place to just stop by and restore your sanity! Always look forward to seeing you guys :)

Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable owner who has created a shop with a wide range of top quality, soft, squishy yarns. You will definitely want to add something to your stash from this delicious pile of goodness! Nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Alanna has created a wonderful yarn store and community of knitters at Loopine Wool Co. There is much to inspire makers from the beginner to the more experienced and it is a visual delight to walk through the store and check out all the yarn options and then begin squishing them (checking them out) for your next exciting knitting or crocheting project. With easy parking on the street outside and a sweet as chocolate shop and cafe next store I encourage you to visit the friendly team, buy your yarn and needles (and more) for your next project or two and have a chat with the experienced team on hand about any questions you have. I must not forget to encourage you to visit the Knit Night on Fridays. It is a diverse and super friendly community of knitters who gather weekly thanks to Alanna's warmth and hospitality. Loopine Wool Co is a premium destination store and if you can't pop in because you are not based in Auckland, they have online shopping for your convenience too.

i rode a city bike all the way to parnell to ensure i got to visit this wonderful yarn store of delights and i had a GREAT time I ended up hanging out nerding out about yarn and buying more yarn than i thought i would...despite only "needing" 5 skeins of chunky yarn for a performance art piece. Not just a great wool store, but a great community! All the staff are so helpful, and the weekly knitting nights are wonderful. I'd recommend Loopine Wool to seasoned knitters and people who are looking to learn!

Always a warm and friendly atmosphere, with a great range of items including Hiya Hiya sharp needles, which are so good for speedy knitting and also less work for people who have hand or arm issues.

Superb wee shop! Amazing selection of yarns and tools needed to create something really special. I needed help figuring out the whole unwinding a twisted hank/skein of wool into a knittable state and got awesome help, recommendation and even a demonstration of the Ashford swift and how it links to the ball winder. Highly recommend this place, as it's EXACTLY the sort of gem we crafters need.

Absolutely love Loopine; the fab products and the lovely expert help from Alanna and Jenna. I treasure the time knitting with others, all made possible be Alanna’s commitment to providing space and time for knitters to meet and knit, a marvellous opportunity to learn and help one another.

A great yarn shop with a super friendly and helpful owner. So much yarn!! I live out of town and joined their knitting group one Thursday and everyone was so friendly. Wished I lived closer!!

Before moving to New Zealand I followed Loopine on Instagram and thought wow what a lovely shop must check it out. From the first time I went into the shop I was made to welcome with lots of inspiration and help, gorgeous gorgeous girls

Great shop, and what a spin I am in over the gorgeous Spin Cycle yarns. Its so fun anticipating the colour change coming up next on my needles.

Awesome yarn, my wife loves it here. American lady helped me pick out a present for my wife last minute and went above and beyond, doesn't try and upsell either and let's you browse in peace if you don't want help, much appreciated. :-)

Really nice yarn shop tucked in the back of a knitting cafe inside a converted oldstyle bakery. The owner Alanna is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the high quality artisan yarns are beautiful.

Great shop! I walked in not needing anything and walked out with an armful of yarn. Also a great place to see NZ indie dyer's yarn in person.

Alanna is very welcoming and helpful. It is a lovely wool shop to pop in to but make sure you are not in a rush. You won't want to leave.
