J.I have just received my 50 cm French Beechwood Rolling Pin from Milly's, & I just LOVE it!
I had been following the "Pasta Grannies" Facebook & YouTube pages for some time, & recently purchased the book "Pasta Grannies: The Official Cookbook" ...so was very excited to hone my pasta making skills.
On hunting online to find a longer suitable wooden rolling pin, I was struggling to find one in NZ that I could afford.
I'm so thrilled I finally discovered Milly's...this is truly a beautiful quality rolling pin which I will absolutely treasure.
Service was friendly, fast & efficient... most highly recommended. Thank you Milly's Kitchen Shop! 🌺

J.Ordered a cheese slicer, a really good one and received it 2 days later! Amazing service and great product. Very impressed with Milly's procedures for ordering and delivery times. Only drawback is that the courier left it in the letterbox at the top of a very long driveway which I don't think is good service on the courier's part.
P.A treasure trove of kitchen stuff, cookware, glasses and things you didnt know you needed.
Top quality products..yes it costs more but you will never regret items that do what they should do and will do so for generations..if you hand them down.

T.I visited Milly's yesterday looking for a set of scales with 1 gram sensitivity. There were none in stock but Theresa didn't leave it at that. She answered my questions about the vagaries of importing under covid and how that was impacting Milly's and other kitchen supply stores. She referred me to a competitor, highlighted a couple of their brands for me and recommended a specific brand to go for. In other words, she used her insider knowledge of her industry to help me get what I wanted. I walked out of Milly's without scales but with the feeling that I had just just received incredible, helpful service. Thank you Theresa. (Later yesterday afternoon, I was in Mitre 10 Ponsonby looking for something else and discovered a set of scales that would do what I wanted. So I supported local business and went with that set.)
K.Much smaller inside than I expected. Went for candy oils but they were all out of stock. Staff was nice but it’s cheaper to order them online and pay shipping than to travel there and back.
H.Really great experience, went there today to get a gift, had no idea what to get but the staff quickly found a great item in my price range. They even gift wrapped in exchange for a donation. Overall very happy with Milly's and will definitely shop here again!

M.Delightful kitchen shop with its own working kitchen and everything a chef may want including those hard to find kitchen tools and gadgets. They were actually baking in the kitchen so the shop was bathed in the delicious baking smells. Definitely worth a visit.
N.A vast array of kitcheny things. Very good service. They very kindly ordered in some magic relighting candles for me and called me when they came in.
B.If you enjoy any aspect of cooking then you will enjoy this place. Great selection of things on display and if they don't have it in stock the super helpful staff will get it in for you. Not the cheapest products but they are not aiming for that. If you want high quality cookware this is the place.
