I am a beginner in knitting, and the shop owner knows the product very well. The patterns and yarns of the socks she recommended to me gave me great confidence and interest in knitting. I like this cozy little shop, they can provide you with the products you need and help you.

Fantastic little fabric shop tucked away in the heart of Auckland. (You need to head down Queen Arcade to get to it.) From yarn, to wool, thread to prints, this shop has it all. There are kits and patterns, most things to get started with or to complete that special hand made present. Staff are friendly and helpful. This place is easily accessible on your lunch break.

Awesome staff. Wonderful yarns and largest range of New Zealand themed fabrics. Knitting needle range includes Chiagoo, knitpro and Addi. Lots of local goodies in-store

Amazing yarn store in Auckland’s CBD. What I loved about this unexpected find was the service was fantastic. I was welcomed when I arrived and we ended out talking patterns, yarns and all sorts of tips of my knitting. The stocks of New Zealand yarns is wonderful and I am grateful to take home some beautiful merino / possum blends that are going to make the most soft fluffy shawls. Highly recommended yarn store if you are visiting Auckland.

Small shop. Lots of yarn. Quilting swabs. Small amount of ribbon. Pays to call to see if they have what you want.

Very nice little shop with plenty of selection of wonderful yarns. The owner and her assistant we're helpful as can be without being overbearing. The prices are excellent for the quality of the product. I would highly recommend!

What a gem!! Fantastic selection of beautiful yarns and fabric which my teenage daughter adored. The staff were amazing too. Thanks for such an enjoyable visit on our day trip to Auckland.

Such a friendly staff lady who helped me find all that I was looking for and more. What a well-stocked little double-storey treasure trove! So beautifully organized into the different crafts. Stunning variety of fabrics, yarns, samples, pattern books, kits and tools, one is spoilt for choice of where to look first. Definitely a great place to go for all your crafting supplies.

Small but mighty store well-stocked with local yarns including possum blends. There is also a small selection of spinning fiber and a good number of quilting fabrics and cross stitch kits and supplies. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but they don't hover and are happy to leave you to browse if that is what you prefer. Definitely stop by if you are in Auckland.

I Love this shop and happy to meet the friendly and co operative staff. You can get almost everything related to knitting and embroidery in this little shop.

Lovely little store in downtown Auckland which has lovely yarn and fabric for quilt making. I thought I was done buying all the wool I needed but still managed to find more that I just loved. There is nothing like seeing and touching the product before buying. Well worth a visit.

A great little store! They are really helpful and more than happy to talk you through e everything you need or want to know. I went in knowing essentially nothing about knitting and was given a great introduction!

Great shop for getting needlework supplies. Full range of DMC stranded floss as well as fabric and accessories. The owner has always been willing to order anything extra I have needed if she didn't have it in stock.

I have often ordered Ashford Handicraft products, spinning wheels, looms and accessories, from New Zealand Fabrics and Yarn and am always surprised how quickly the orders arrive ready to be picked up on my way home from work. There is always some new and exciting products each time I visit and even better they go out of their way to get that one odd ball you need to finish a project, with great communication keeping you in the loop along the way. Everyone working in the store are crafters so either know the products or can easily find out and the weekly craft groups are worth popping into for tea and a chat.

An excellent range of NZ yarns, and lots of other crafty supplies, including KnitPro and Addi needles, and fabric and needle craft supplies, too. Heaps of NZ designed and themed quilting fabrics. Great to have a place in the city to by thread and other goodies, too!

All the yarn is NZ (well, some Australian...) and a lot of it is non-export, so I found some looooovvvely gifts for my American knitting buddies they they can't get over there, I showed off a bit ;) They have the official LotR 'Mithril' yarn and neon yarn, and a sale basket... what more could a knitting geek ask for? Oh, of course, I could ask for KnitPro needles, which they also have! *♡*Symphonie for life*♡*

This is the place to go for yarn in the Auckland area. Especially good for something a little different and a bit exotic. But also the covers the basics. It has everything a knitter or crafter needs

This shop stocks gorgeous New Zealand wools and patterns from local designers. I'm so happy with my merino/possum blend yarn!
