S.Our dog loves going there, especially watching the cats! It's like going to the movies... More seriously, great choice of pet supplies, super friendly and helpful staff, good prices. This store also has a great selection of pick-and-mix dog treats, which our dog is addicted to.
C.Pet stock helped us adopt our kittens, and the shop assistant was so helpful and knowledgeable and nothing seemed too much trouble. I was really grateful and the customer service is always good, and the proces are lower than competitors.
L.Great shop for pets. Staff are helpful, one even indulged my question about how they keep their fish tanks crystal. Found the prices of certain items better than elsewhere.

C.A really great Pet Shop with litterally everything you would ever need for any type of pet. Plus really lovely & knowledgeable friendly staff. I especially love the two coin operated dog baths/showers outside the front door for those moments when man's best friend chooses to roll in some disgusting dead thing that just reeks...!😱

We have a very very fussy vizsla. So fussy that even when we exercise him heaps with no treats, he would rather starve than eat his food. The staff here were so nice that they let us try out different foods for him.
Of course our pup ate the most expensive food that would cost us $119 a week but the fact they kept letting us return half eaten bags was just, well really damn nice.
N.Finally the pet stock is open after how many weeks. I want to commend an employee named Nadia from the pet stock. Barry’s pint road, takapuna. She went out of her way to help me by carrying my cat litter to the counter + my car along with helping me collect my cats food with a friendly and bubbly attitude. Such a great heart and spirit. Thank you for your again and again. You made my day. Hope your boss gives you a raise because you deserve it.

M.Good stock. Staff ok, but they always seem to think I'm hiding bully sticks in my pick and mix dog treats!! Make sure they don't charge you extra for the mix sticks.

This was our first visit to the Takapuna store. We needed guidance, and someone knowledgeable, experienced, and with practical advice to help us purchase all the exciting new toys, bed, shampoo, harness, etc for our new puppy.
Shelly gave us her undivided attention, all of the above service, and with a great attitude.
The gentleman also serving was very personable too. A very pleasant experience, thank you - we'll definitely be back!

J.Great range of food for our dog. Have been using Nutrience Grain Free for over 2 years now; an excellent food without the fillers, etc. Staff are very helpful and really know their stuff. Wouldn't shop anywhere else as we can find everything we need at this store.

d.How could you go to Animates when this store is around!! Taka staff are AMAZING and non comparible to other pet stores, never seen such love and compassion for animals in a commercial store. They love what they do and you can tell!

E.Petstock has a great range of pet products. They have everything from dog to cat to rabbit to bird to reptile and of course fish. Petstock have a live loyalty program and depending on the products you buy they also have a brand specific cash reward system. They have toys, food, snacks, leashes, harnesses, collars, equipment for potty training, equipment for regular training and water sports equipment. They also have medicine and flea and work tick treatments.
H.Is is the pet shop that we go every week. We just enroll our puppy to the puppy school class. Thank you for the trainer Lara she's amazing.
