Went for the Boxing Day sales with my mum and want to say a thank you to Tamara in the fabric section who was extremely helpful. Great service. Walked out of the store very happy and with more fabric than I initially planned (which is never a bad thing for a sewist)!

Lynne and I went over to get a diamond dot art work for her to do. That was good got it home to discover the painting had been changed for a cheaper one. We went back 2 days later there was no hassle with a refund Lynne opted to buy a replacement art work at $7.00 more ,it was all very good service.

Staff were so helpful. Lovely to be given a discount because I'm over 65. First time that was offered although I've been a regular shopper at another Spotlight store.

Some products are comparatively expensive for the quality. Prices can be an area for improvement. The store is massive. There should be more staff around to help. Staff members are friendly, especially the ladies at the front payment counter.

A Man cave for Women. Everything your darling will need to do with home fabrics, material, patterns, the lot. Too much to list Sewing machines, Electrical cooking devices, rice cookers etc. Party supplies for kids, helium balloons. Scented candles, home decor of various kinds, everything for the home basically. Staff are always super helpful. Huge carpark outside. Facemasks reqd on entry. Security on the door checking masks.

Always have friendly staff and great range of products- most recent click and collect experience was quite disorganized though. I got the impression that the system of organizing orders was not very efficient, and felt bad for the one worker running around the parking lot trying to find each order's car. Service was very friendly though- could just do with some improvement on process for click and collect during alert levels, I think.

Bought really cheap bedding, but needed to ask the price for each one. Not only do you save money with a spotlight card, you get extra discounts on a gold card

Always a great place to pick up craft and sewing things..but short on staff for around the store help but always friendly at the checkout desk and helpful at the sewing desk.

we had the best service in the upholstery, super helpful, professional and welcoming. Nice to get some great service during these times. Thanks you, would highly recommend.

Lots of variety. But as a wheelchair user it is usually pretty cramped to get around. One way travel instore and some isles are blocked off one end completely due to building poles in the middle. So if it's possible have to turn around and go around.

This is my favourite store !!!!! I buy lots of wool, & embroidery floss, crafting jewellery and stickers and bedsheets also gifts for kids. I have so much fun that I've been in there for 3 hours once 😁 and the staff were delighted ... They are knowledgeable and encouraged me to keep up learning how to knit and I am greatful it's helped me with anxiety of c ovid ... Knitting 🙏💕

Very poor health and safety around Covid protocols. Crowding and staff that don't know if co-workers vaccinated or not and no company requirements or recommendations on this according to the staff I spoke with. However, very nice helpful staff and good range of products.

I would like to say thank you for the team amazing help especially to a beautiful staff member vivian who has an amazing customer service positive attitude and doesn't just treat you as a customer but a person. Its amazing everytime I go there she's always welcoming and has great knowledge of all items especially cause I always have a time limit. I'm usually with my grandson who has austism vivian always helps when I'm shopping and attends or talks to my grandson so I can get items thank you so much for the understanding and great care from the staff Lincoln road spotlight and to all there staff I give yous all credit for amazing outstanding job thank yous all for a great experience everytime without fail god bless yous all. Spotlight has a LOT of stuff jammed into this store. It's great on the one hand, but in a Covid world of trying to keep your distance from others, it's also a bit of a nightmare. They have some great things but not a place I'd go to often.

Store very overcrowded. Check your dockets as some prices were wrong. Has a good veriaty. Very little space to move in some parts with a trolly.

So much stuff in one place and great prices. Staff were friendly and even in lockdown made the process easy.

The store had a great sale. They open at 10 on Sunday so we had to come back as we arrived at 9.30. I find the layout in store is confusing and often ends up in the path of other customers. I think it would be s nicer experience if they looked at a more flowy layout. Staff are nice and helpful. You can access patterns yourself. Staff are needed for cutting fabric and interfacing on the rolls/bolts. 98% of items I went for were in stock, with around 80% of these on sale at the time.

Went in for fabric to make curtains and bedding for a camper van. Cheap prices and lots on sale, variety of fabrics, designs and colours and friendly staff. Especially Vivian who went out here way to help us out, we’d either be buying way too much or too little in length if it weren’t for her help :-)

Found the best deals in town on curtains. 260 cms drop and u can go as wide u want, rod rings done already for $10 per meter...(that's 50% off on already reduced price)

Great place to get the stuff you need and good freindly service.

It can be hit and miss here. One visit will be great, finding what you need quickly and staff being good. Next visit they will be out of stock and the staff acting full of ther own self importance, particularly the mgr Wow, she has issues and a major ego problem. Feel for the staff..

Smaller than other branches and seems a bit tired, but staff are friendly and it had the stuff I was looking for. No customer toilet available.

Although busy the staff were friendly and well organised. The store had lots of stock in particularly in the main isles making it a little difficult to move around freely. It would also make it easier to see what's in the store without the isles being so cluttered.

First time here and it is cluttered. Easy to find what I was after but so many stuff everywhere it is hard to walk down isles too

Fantastic and wonderfully helpful girl named Rebecca helped us with all our needs in store today, nothing was to big of an ask for this young girl, she was ready and waiting to help with a big smile and beautiful manners. Deserves a raise! Also had the most beautiful nails I've seen in a long time.

Love this store very much as it is stocked with lots of art and craft stuffs! One of the staffs, Malissa was very kind and knowledgeable in helping us to get the right things. Will definitely go back for more!

Great sale prices. Picked up some beginner sewing items. Customer service was friendly and knowledgable. Lots of choices of cloth to choose from.

Had all your household needs, with many options for homeward products like curtains, blinds, bed and bath ware, even party goods. With great customer service we found exactly what else were looking for. Have both adult and kids options for nearly all the products in store it is suitable for all family household purchased. Highly recommend as they have really good quality goods to meet what ever your budget is.

the best and very safe to swim and lots of space for everyone

I love a good trip to Spotlight and this was no exception. The staff that we interacted with were very cool and one of them warned us about how fragile one item was (which we decided to buy) and how she had managed to break several of them herself already! Needless to say we handled it very gingerly after that but managed to get it home in one piece. The store was well stocked and clean, which is always nice to see.

Kayla at Spotlight was outstanding. I ordered bespoke wooden blinds for my home and where competitor companies could not accommodate my request; Kayla made the process exceptionally easy. Highly recommended

I love a good trip to Spotlight but this is definitely not my favourite store. It's very cramped (don't try and take a pram in) and today was particularly bad with team members blocking aisles while filling shelves, stock messy and literally none of the items I knew were on sale had sale prices visible, so make sure you use the price checker!

Has all you need for craft, celebration and home decor.

I particularly like this branch because there is a sensible path to follow round all the departments and see the specials - not as stuffed as other branches but the same interesting range if handcrafts, sewing, cooking bedding stock. I know this type of shop undercuts the small local shops but it has its great advantages

I love Spotlight! Most of the stores seemed to have been upgraded. Nice clean lines, not too busy and usually easy to find things. All Spotlight staff seem to be very knowledgeable where ever you go and this one is the same - excellent!

Had some balloons done for a birthday. helium filled. Girls were fabulous, friendly and helpful. A wee bit pricey for what i got but it was a birthday

They have anything under the sun for crafty DIY. However the shop is pretty convoluted and hard to navigate. Typically friendly staff can help you find things though. Plenty of car parking.

I was just there to carry the bags, but it all seemed to go very well !

There is alot of great sewing materials, cake decorations, beautiful linen.

This shop is good for all notions/trims/fastenings/sewing supplies but they have an average range of fabrics. Do not expect the sales assistants to help you unless you're standing at the counter a d ready to buy stuff. Not ideal for high end or specialty fabrics.

5 Stars We recently had Spotlight’s custom curtain consultant Kayla, measure our living room and lounge for drapes, and I can’t tell you enough how pleased we were with the whole process. Kayla is a knowledgeable, helpful, and professional salesperson, with a very present personality. She talked us through the whole process and never having ordered custom drapes; before, we really appreciated her expertise in her field and understanding of her products. Our drapes look fabulous, exquisitely made, and suit the rooms wonderfully. Thank you, Spotlight, for your exceptional service. Bought some. Beautifully colourful fabrics, feeling very inspired to make a dress. I could spend all day as there is so much to see. Good idea to take a list with you to prevent side tracking. 😁

Quite a pack jammed store with lots of cool Crafting supplies and also Manchester and Homewares. Being a Spotlight Member is useful as you get discounts off your purchases every now and then... I don't know how it works but I often get some little savings on my purchases. Younger weekend staff don't always know what's in stock being part time but always willing to help.

Not much stock in store, thinking because of covid?. Asked a lady to help me and she grumpy told me where to go and when I approached again to say they weren't where she mentioned she huffed and took me to the exact same spot and sure enough they weren't there. Lovely lady from the party section helped me though so not all bad. Maybe just understaffed and under pressure

Alot of stock in trolleys and in the aisles on the floor some staff need some work with being abit friendly with customers thats why we just walk out...So again service with a smile goes along way

I just got a foam mattres from there 99$ no Easter sale there so more than I had hoped to spend plenty of beads and mattress no Beding or mattress toppers big store good parking friendly staff just dissapointed no Easter sale !

Lovely and very well stocked store. Everything you need for sewing, for the bedroom decor, curtains, your artistic nature, dress up for the children, and even your lounge. You probably would not even know an hour has passed, before you come out for some breath. I'm sure you would love it to, like I did. Come and visit, and see where your creative nature might lead you. You'll never want to leave.

Love this place. Discovered that they do helium balloons. You are spoiled for choice, they're super friendly, helpful, fast and affordable. They even gave me a free nifty bag to hold all the balloons in. It's the small gestures that make a world of difference

Was pretty disappointed with level of stock and white space within craft area. Not just level of stock but range. This has been going on for quite some time, even before pandemic, so let's not blame that. People always nice tho.

Always get more than I came in for at Spotlight! Good range of fabrics. The new layout at the exit and entrance is a bit rubbish though. If you've paid for your items somewhere else you need to push past all the people at the checkouts at the exit to get out. A little bit awkward...

Great needs more people on the counters

Basing on covid I had to return a product that I had been waiting for, going on 2 weeks unable to get through phone service & email was no better. Decided to pop into shops & every1 was happy & helpful unfortunately they could not do anything till goods arrived to me. Parcel arrived so back to the shop,on arrival I was asked to email proof of purchase because proof on phone was 🤷‍♀️ anyways once that was sorted swiped card only to be told after that that money would take a few days to be put through🤦‍♀️ really. I kept my cool knowingly covid has backed up everything so apart from this waiting game again I'm sure without covid I would had a prompt resolution.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, showing me around, and leading me to what I was after. Highly recommended!

Ahhh it takes me hours and hours to get out of this place! So many cute, fun, interesting treasures are hidden in this place 😍 I bake, so i often go here to get baking tools, gel colours, party products and they have them all! All the staff are friendly and helpful😊

Good place good staff had what we wanted

Very tidy and well laid out store. My only complaint was lack of service experience when I asked questions about one of the overlockers. They could not help me. I even requested was there anyone about that could help demonstrate or explain the functions of this product. They lost a sale.

Possibly the best spotlight store in Auckland. Amazing selection of fabrics, not sure of it was just the right time I went but heaven and earth compared to Albany store. Hard to come out with “just a few things” when I enter the store.

Everybody loves a spotlight but this store is so cramed there's no room to walk around someone down the main isles. This is a problem anytime let alone now with social distancing rules. It also means that if you aren't a regular spotlight goer, finding the right isle or area feels like a safari.

Become a VIP member, entities you to great discounts. Spotlight Henderson has a huge variety of goods, the store is clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful.

The only place I can find to buy a helium balloon and get it blown up, and the young blonde woman who served me wS wonderful, service with a smile.

For some reason Henderson tends to be more expensive than, for example, Sylvia Park, Albany and Manukua (which I visit on a monthly basis), not sure why (?) Loads of easy parking but the shop itself is just to cramped. When looking at fabric in aisles your forever moving to let someone else pass, very frustrating hence I only visit Henderson about once a year. Good selection though and staff always friendly.

I went to look for a gift of children's duvet covers,. King single to be exact. There was a sale on and the section I was in was disorganized and generally messy. To a degree I can understand that but my disappointment is that there was no staff to be seen other than the cashiers. I am not saying it is not a good place, but definitely not a shop you could zip in and out of or get help readily from staff. More like a shop you need plenty of time to "explore".

The phenomenally over full shop has a wide range of stuff for the home/house and for hobbies. Some of the craft equipment is inspirational just by being there and available. Staff spoken to were k knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, fast and efficient at checkout too. I learned the hard way about curtain and curtain tracks this week. The curtain pack advises, say 80 to 140 cm x 160cm ( for pleated). I assumed for each curtain - predicting 2.8 would give me okcover on 2m opening. I got a taunt cover total 2m max. And 1 of the 3 curtain track mounting brackers was not well fitting as were the other 2. Not a difficult set of problems - but 11 at night - frustrating!

The staff was friendly and helpful, went there to buy few Helium Balloons. They did them well and loved tge way they made it handy to carry with a net around 10 Balloons so they dont go all over in wind. Thanks

Huge range of fabrics to choose from and heaps of choices of patterns. Great shop for whatever you're making - including cosplay!! Located in a fantastic area with easy free parking.

Yes it's excellent to get what ever u want for crafts, repairs & cake decorating. I will say I think the way buying material as well as have a pile of other stuff and have 2 transactions from effpos card. Surely they could write a docket n customer could go to counter at front to pay for everything. 🙄

Good parking ar thus shopping area off Lincoln Road. Still getting shelves and stock back to normal after COVID lockdown so couldn't find what I was wanting. Helpful staff.

I love spot light fabric section. Eventhough it is said that Spotlight has the biggest section of party stuff but mostly I could not get what I wanted. Overall staff is very polite and friendly.

Dismal assortment of shower curtains as well as no material to make your own shower curtain... and everything priced beyond the reach of most people whom wish to be making their own things to manage a budget.

Go to store in NZ for anything fabric related. It is a bit more pricey than the other craft stores, but you get a huge range of products. Their fabrics collection is very good

This is the freshest and tidiest Spotlight store I have ever been in. The ones I frequent in NSW are messy, some dreadfully so. This store is so organised and clean. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. What a pity I'm only on holiday!

Really squashy...the front counters are placed awkwardly. Most staff I encountered were nice. Only one was very grumpy, not helpful at all. Other than that have no choice to go back because they're my local.

Spotlight is fine for the odd sewing or hobby need, but wouldn't buy fabric from here regularly, it's expensive. If you're on a tight budget I would recommend trying Geoff's Emporium down the road first for no frills fabric.

I find there "sales" are not that great

Love my spotlight, on l y issue is I can't get my wheelchair into one isle due to massive steel beams in the way. But DJ makes up for this and helps me out

Spotlight Henderson is amazingly huge store. It is not only a craft shop it sell anything from bathroom to kitchen to even stationary. Pop in and have a browse and I'm sure you can score something.

I don't hate this place, this is a awesome place . For Halloween they have all the scary costume, witch costume, spiders, bats, greepy Marsk. And for you lovely ladies, wool ,nitting Needle etc.

The lady who helped me down in the wool department about a knitting holder was really lovely.

I was disappointed when I came to find a pattern to be told that it had been discontinued. Could the patterns that have been discontinued have a black felt line through them. It is disappointing after looking through the books for 20 to 30 mins to find that you have to continue looking.

It's a good store. However their isles are a bit too close to each other. Overall an okay ish experience

Had excellent service from Shamiya (?). I bought a sewing machine and she wrapped it in material because it was a present for someone. Brainwave !

I wish there was a Spotlight in Kerikeri as our closest is Whangarei. I prefer the Lincoln Rd one as they have a bigger, better selection of Quilting fabrics.

Absolute treasure trove of DIY bits and pieces for the home. Great value.

Ample parking, huge choice of household goods. Take advantage of the end of month sales. Highly recommended.

Always good but was surprised they do not sell stamps to use with stamp pads. Seems everyone uses stickers these days

It's a fine shop, anything for soft finishing decor can be found there and some fabrics too.

They sell so many interesting bits and pieces. I even bought lovely fabric that is organic cotton.

We went there to buy round table cloth. Lot of parking spaces and good selection of roubd table clothes.

Picked up some cheap curtain rails. Only to get home and discover no rings included.
