The place is great 😊. Lots of parking are available. Most of team are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I experienced an average service from senior staff, a team leader. Maybe, that person had a bad day. Overall, this is good business.

This is truly the jewel in the crown in terms of a watering hole. It's what a call a man's pub the beers cold the conversations remind me of back in the day's Rugby, Racing and Beer the staff have that wicked sense of humour, friendly and always prepared to hand out some free advice great place.

Went looking for sack needles to sew a plastic sheet/ trailer cover to the dog kennel as a wind breaker. Found what I was looking for with an eye big enough to thread string...perfect. came in a set of 3 for $9. Job done.

Great place , such a wide range all sorts of material, vinyl, bedding and kids party bits the list goes on . If you have time to spare drop in.

Alright, the shop is very confusing. Went in for some artificial plants and found them in 3 different areas. It's quite cluttered in there too.

Always a great place to shop, they usually have everything that you require and it is a fascinating place to wander around in and see what is new and quirky.

Went in to check out upholstery material for an ottoman. 40% off and lots of sales because it's the long weekend. Don't always find what I want at the price I want to pay, but always worth a visit!

I have been crocheting for ages. During the lockdown, my teenage son started to develop an interest in the craft. I taught him, and he learned fast, however, he had to wait for his turn to use the hook as I had only one. He also was not able to really create the balaclavas he wanted due the yarns I had available, they were all too pastels for his taste, he wanted black. Thanks Spotlight for having hooks and black yarn! My son can now start crocheting his very own balaclava 😊 (Crochet is not only for women) Spotlight Click and Collect is safe, fast and easy! Was well set out, only thing that is wrong.. if you don't purchase anything you STILL have to go around and passed the checkouts..

Really like this store staff all friendly and lots of variety. Only thing I find is they always seem short on checkout staff, often find they have a big queue waiting to be served. However, when I came in last week the Security guy on the front door was helpful and allowed us out the other door as we were only walking through.

Probably the largest stockist of wonderful materials and huge variety but they not helpful when you want any tech advice or recheck the discount rate. Couple of staff got really grumpy.

Great for your arts and craft needs. The aisles can be confusing at times with a lot going on, and sometimes it is hard to find what you want cause its such a big store. Staff are helpful in pointing you in the right direction however.

Was only there to pick up some glitter. Pllace is big but clean. Didn't spend much time in there as we got what we needed and left. But would definitely shop there again

Not enough clear signage for 60 minutes parking limit in front of store. I love the new stuff in store. Checkouts were a bit slow for the amount of people standing in the que. But store was tidy and staff were nice.

They do have very good ranges of goods, but you'll only get bargains when they have a Super Sale. On the whole I find them very expensive. I bought a chair seat cushion. It was $20.00 I was told after I'd paid that I couldn't return it. I find it rock hard & not comfortable at all. It's supposed to be made from memory foam, but it doesn't feel like it!

Friendly staff. It's a nice big store with plenty to offer. I went for feathers, I found I need to source a wholesaler for real bird like feathers xx I enjoyed this visit emmensely xx

Clean, some staff members can be abit rude not sure if it's a every day problem or just that staff member's having a not so good day ...Apart from that it's good..Ample parking.

It's a great place to but the household stuff, we a good variety at reasonable prices. Better quality than some of the other big box stores, to get the best discounts you need to sign up for their store card online or in store, so as long as they don't spam you, I say it is worth it.

So many items in the Manukau shop. Well stocked too.

Total experience was good. It's a good place for curtain, upholstery sewing machines and its accessories. Heeps of curtain fabrics, rugs, sofa fabric etc..

Usually has what I need. Staff are generally helpful. I find the aisles too narrow, especially when people stop to chat or browse. It's hard to move around them and keep your 2m distance.

Was shopping here last week in a rush to buy blinds for our new house and we were helped by Edward, he gave great advice and guidance on the blinds we ended up purchasing. He is a real asset to the store. Thank you very much.

Not happy with the communication as its one sided. After much attempt to make contact for the last 4 days through customer service, no one has made contact from Manukau Spotlight to me regarding my missing items when using Click and Collect. Frustrating as I just need to know what's going on!?

A vast variety of stuff but prices a bit high.

I got tracing paper here as the sticker price appeared to be $9 each, at the checkout it was $19 each so that hurt the wallet. Upon checking the tracing paper was in the wrong place and the sticker explained that the $9 price was for something else. Bit tough to see as an old fella. Still a great place with lots of variety but sometimes it pays to shop around at a few other places and you might find a better deal.

Great parking, helpful staff and plenty of bargains

Pretty expensive, looking for curtains (Backdrop-pair) sales on but after sale price average $98 +..ended up getting backdrop curtain from bunnings $48 pair and good quality...Party side was good though have clearance deals which are pretty competitive and lady at the party counter so helpful and friendly

Spotlight has a wonderful range of linens, curtains and nicknacks to make a house a home. They also stock incredible fabrics if you want to make your own curtains or garments. Very efficient and friendly staff is a bonus as well!

So much stuff their. So many hobbies you could learn or take on. Also had a party section with balloons and costumes that i didnt know they did. Bed linens, Housewares, kitchen items, materials to make own clothing, canvases, wool, and soo many trinkets to make whatever your imagination brings up.

Excellent service. Looking for a specific colour wool, only had it in mixed colours packs, the staff member took out of pack and sold it to me as a single.

There is a great choice of goods available but the display is not great. The ambience is really that of a warehouse.

They have glow in the dark slime!!!! And everything else is great! I sware I can do all kinds of shopping there: baking and cooking, play dough, curtains, decoration and storage. Those file storage is so what I needed in 2019 but then I got my first job in 2020.

Cheap little gifts on discount and I love getting house items my latest purchase was tea towels very large towels for the kitchen. 3pck for 4.99, I bought 2pck cost me $7. 40% discount worth it.

After putting up with low stock in both variety and volume .in diffrent shop assistance and the nightmare that the fabric department can be in the closest spotlight to us Manakau was a revelation .helpful motivated staff .very quick checkout huge variety of craft items an absolute pleasure to be in this is a must visit Spotlight

I purchase majority of my kids party ware from this store and have always received and seen great service from the staff here in the party section. I've also seen the kindness they have towards the kids during the school holidays, giving them a balloon each to play with while their parents continued to shop around without the kids playing up for everything in sight. And I'm always picking up awesome bargains!

Always good sewing advice. Some good bargains when sales are on. Generally slightly more expensive for usual retail but i find quality of goods matches and appropriate, so quite fair pricing.

A superb place to find anything you need especially relating to decoration, sewing, arts and crafts etc...It never disappoints me.

Lots of craft supplies here but a little expensive compared to other places. If shopping online, the delivery charge is a bit steep.

Friendly staff, heaps of hidden jewels and discounts waiting for you to discover! I enjoy shopping there from time to time and always end up getting more stuff than I originally went in for. They have more and more stuff whenever I go visit. Can easily spend an hour there if you're into home improvement and hand crafts.

Loads of parking and some GREAT deals to be had! For example last weekend they had all their reduced fabrics down to only $2 meter! WOW! All fabric in pic below only $2 per meter! AND linen table cloths down to only $8!Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice roomy store to move around in. I visit regularly.

Admittedly I arrived at the store 20 minutes prior to closing, but certainly don't expect rudeness from senior staff members. In fact the most appropriate interaction was from a pleasant young lady. Who said the younger age set have a lot to learn. It would appear that some of the seniors need to take a leaf out of the young lady's book.

Good service & selections,We visited Spotlight twice in last 2 week for Nylon continues Sheer .we bought Regal continuous sheer materials.approx 80 meters.Several length total 35+ pices served by Lady call TEURE & FAYE. Both of them cut materials to our Window's size .Very helpful & Friendly.👍

I visit here regularly getting my craft supplies. The staff have exceptional service and are always friendly and happy to assist. They have a great range of stock and the shop itself is easy to access.

Counter staff are far more interested in their own conversations than in serving customers. There are better spotlight stores to visit.

I love spotlight as much as I love DIY. They always have deals and the quality of their baking stuff is so much better than other kitchenware shops around. Very friendly and helpful staff as well.

The amount of stuff available in this store is simply mind-blowing. If you are prepared to slowly browse through the store, guaranteed you will find what you need. I know that I found what I wanted, and reasonably priced too! I can definitely recommend this store.

This is a good Spotlight. The staff is well informed and helpful. They have a good variety of items.

Not just a fabric store! I went here looking for a fancy dress costume and.got a great good quality one. Bonus, it was on special! I also go here to find good quality cushions and bed covers. Not the cheapest but well made and my beds look great.

I live out of the main city and travelled more than two hours to get to some of big Shopping Centres. Interesting how shop assistant passed comment about amount of product I was purchasing without asking any questions or find out customers needs. Not everyone can whip down to spotlight everyday to get what they need if they live out of the main Centre.

Under one roof just so many things to look out for. Though staff at times are not approachable and you just have to search for what you looking for and only if inventory was made accessible for the staff who can check, confirm stock who has access to a computer screen in front of them, instead of letting you know go to the section and ask the staff in that particular section. And the walking back could rather be a hassle and time wasted only to be told of the availability or finding such staff

Friendly staff and huge selection

The fabric department is pretty fantastic with so many items to choose from. I wanted quilting materials and there was a good well priced range to choose from. However I didn't find the staff at Manukau all that helpful. It was my first time at this store and usually staff accompany you and help you find stuff. Even when I went to the counter they didn't try to companion sell and I had to wait while they sorted out some sale tickets. Then I had to go back because I'd forgotten thread to match. Sadly not Spotlights usual standard.

This is a very busy shop. It has an extensive range of material for most projects, many excellent specials at bargain basement prices, any type of bedding you could ever need, ends of rolls of material which are good for smaller projects at great prices, and a rapid delivery service if you prefer to shop on line. Another shop that you need plenty of time to properly appreciate.

This place has everything for the crafty person, all your sewing, knitting/crochet, paper crafts, beading, cross-stitch, card making, painting, letter art, you name it - they've got it. Not cheap but very inspirational. There's a bathroom inside. It's spacious and the staff is helpful.

Very friendly staff members. Over man in particular was awesome!!! I had called ahead to inquire about a certain product in stock. I was not getting an answer from the department I was needing to contact, so I called the main office. The man who I spoke to (Adam I believe his name was) went above and beyond my expectations to track down the product I needed. He walked all the way from his office to the crafts department, and then actually looked for the product on the shelf himself when his staff members were unsure what I was inquiring about. I know how big Spotlight is so for him too go through all the trouble to track down what I was after without even meeting me in person was very humbling. He got the ladies who were behind the craft counter to hold the product until I was able to pick it up the next day. Such awesome customer services!! Well done!!

Product range seemed limited but, to be fair, they had been running a seasonal clearance sale when I visited. I look forward to a big improvement once the new season's stock goes out on display.

The Raro lady in the curtains department was so very helpful and helped us find the most available curtains which were than cut sizes for our whole house. Effectively and Efficiently ! We thought we were helping but we were just getting in the way. Barbara was kind enough to let us help but i knew we had to stop Haha. We just joked around and she still completed it fast. Thank you again Barbara the curtain lady ! We will be back to shop again for sure.

Had an idea what I need to get , but being a man I walked in to shop sering thousands of the same item. This staff guy saw me in distressed state and came over to reassure me it's not going to be for long. It's usually mums job to shop in these places. . He offered perfect advice. Got what was needed and sent me on my way. Pleasant experience 😊 five star service

The service from the cashier and the door person was excellent. I struggled in the department I was in due to the lack of staff, the lay out of items and the huge amount of choice but I got what I needed. Will be happy to go back

Full of treasures, great supply of craft stuff for crafty people.

The staff are very nice and helpful at spotlight. Unfortunately spotlight carry only blush, black and white of the lace I needed. I really needed navy blue. I instead went to a haberdashery store in Otahuhu. Seriously helped me out.

Rather disappointed get home to find item's missing from the packs we bought too far of a drive to return. Other than that issue friendly helpful staff will return again will just check the items more carefully next time

This place is my favorite store, because this is one in all for me. I can spend hours and hours there if I have time. Different types of dress material, room and bathroom linen and the fabric for different purposes are available here. Also the varieties of readymade curtains and table linen are found. Kitchen items, crafts and different type of things are also found. Every thing cannot be explained, have to visit the stores personally.

Great place to shop if you are looking for Soft Furnishings. Well laid out store with plenty of room. Plenty of parking. Prices are good and there is always something on sale.

I like shopping here as it is a well stocked shop as far as art and craft resources go and you can get new idea's for making things. The prices are reasonable especially when they have sales.

Simple request marred by upsell techniques. Wife was annoyed walked out. One lady was nice and helpful but was not able to complete the sale request. Dumb! The next lady a cutter will try the upsell technique by selling more than my wife needs. Dumb!

You can find all the craft stuff from here. The sale discount is sometimes better Sylvia Park Spotlight, but the fabric selection is not as good as Sylvia Park.

Great place to shop. When looking at pattern books to sew an item, most times the paper pattern is not in the draw to buy.

I live all Spotlight stores. This one is huge to so it's great. I get so lost in all the awesome things here. Very friendly staff and great store layout.

Big clearance sale. Prices are good for everyone - they go from cheap to expensive. Huge variety of fabrics. Helpful and very friendly stuff

I like there specials especially there VIP specials. Good place to go if needing quality and advice for all types of occassions and materials.My downfall is there returns policies and there customer policies.

If you are crafty you can definitely lock the doors and live here. Needs a little bit of organization but otherwise thumbs up!

Love this place. Great for blinds/curtains including patio blinds, fabric, crafts, gifts, homewares and party supplies.

Edward was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with recommending and choosing blinds. Highly recommend.

They have heaps of products but salesforce ignores you on the whole. You have to wade through the products yourself most times! Also prices are at the upper end of the scale.
