Reviews of Victoria Park Market
Having been to Good Vibes Farmers Market at Victoria Park a few times in 2023, my husband and I really enjoyed the food there.
On 1/12/2023, we went there at around 5pm. There were not many people there at that time so we could chat with the organiser and some stall holders.
My husband was very happy to have a vegetarian pie for his dinner and we managed to sit down on a beautifully decorated red clothed table for relaxing and shooting the breeze on a Friday afternoon.
We highly recommend you to visit the market if you live near Auckland CBD.
Sadly not much shops operating and lots empty space for lease. Even it is near lunch time Saturday, I can see only 1 Cafe opens. Maybe most restaurants open at night? Hopefully there will be improvement on this iconic landmark.
Looks nice after renovations but it has lost the once vibrant market feel.
40% shops in the market seem vacant. Some restaurants are there. The building itself is worth visiting. A historical building with an old chimney. The Victoria park is next to it.
I wasn't able to spend much time here, but there seemed to be several nice restaurants and shops here.
It's not like to old Vic Park market. More upmarket and business orientated nowadays. Labtests is located here at the far end Franklin Road exit. Still a few empty lease spaces around. There's a few food establishments but the main reason I go here is Four Shells Kava Lounge. Open from 4pm until 10-11pm most days. A great placed to unwind, catch up with some mates or start a conversation with another patrons.
I come from the generation when Victoria Park Market was a bustling creative and artistic market. These days it is full of service type businesses and there were hardly any people there. It's not a place I would need to visit unless I want an electric bike.
Went to LABTESTS VICTORIA PARK...these ladies are the best...I say that cause I really struggle to do blood tests..let me tell u they were awesome .had a young Asian lady an it was effortless for her ...two taps didn't even feel the needle go in WOW
ACQUAMAN Launched his delicious vodka.. had a pink cocktail with liechee which was amazing
There's a good selection of shopping in this center but too many empty storefronts. Prices I saw were a bit on the high side, but not extreme. My wife and daughter both found athletic shoes they liked and my daughter got an eclectic little purse at a different shop. It's worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.
Some of the little booths had good food (little acai bowls) and tempting shopping (some really lovely handmade jewelry and another place with the cutest plush toys). But for the most part it was pretty average. Other than a few booths, nothing really catches your eye. I'm not particularly motivated to go again.
Had a lovely breakfast at a little cafe here and found a nice giftshop but most of the units were either closed or seemed to be businesses not shops. Went on a Saturday and thought it would be more a traditional market.
Ambient and serene atmosphere here. Good place to chill out.
Finally has some outdoor seating. Really nice. Please add more bench seats along the shopping areas, and umbrellas in the main area! It’s a beautiful environment just needs spots to perch.
Not many shops now, due to Covid. Few cafes, restaurants and office. Urim, the Gift Shop is an absolutely delightful browsing/buying experience. Sad it is closing down soon, after decades of satisfying customers.
Unfortunately, there isn't much to see here. There are a handful of okay shops, but it really isn't anything special. Nor are there any decent cafes for food and coffee. This place has so much potential, I hope to see it improve in the future!
If all of the shops were open at the same time or just open at all, it would be awesome. But.....sadly....it's not as good as it used to be.
Nice walk around the perimeter— fun to see cricket practice.
Lacking toilet facilities at a Xmas market is a shocking oversight. Food was nice.
Wow this place is dead.
Not like the old days . Most of the shops are empty.. such a shame. Used to be a great place to go too.......
Nice place with the historical building and good places to eat.
A bit of a maze of dark alleyways at night, got a bit lost but maybe that's the point 😂
Quite difficult to find by Unit address. Not continuous Unit number, mixed by no idea.
Map also doesn't help much to find.
Toilet locked 🔒and inconvenience.
I always like to go to Victoria Park market. Fresh air, nice food at Dice and fork restaurant. Also coffee shop. There toilet is very clean too hygiene is very important
Turnover of shops is very high.
Never quite sure if they will be there next time you go.
I go to wake up with make up there and it is excellent The owner operater is very relatable the premises are comfortable all round a great experience
Very nice.....Tho hardly anything was open when I when, the wrong time to go but love the place. Had a very nice meal there
First time Big breakfast was amazing second time round not so amazing
Visit to Medlab. Awesome phlegmbologist. Only disappointment is the lack of parking and the closure of the two closest Medlab clinics near to my home which both had dedicated carparks
A great historic place with a lot of history and great places to eat and relax with friends

Amazing place to shop in leisure.
Variety of outlets and wide range of items.
Many times happend to find unexpected things!
Great place for Authentic Indian food with excellent customer service
Amazing spot can explore lot of options from food cafes and to spas & art and crafts
Ok but not like the old when it was full of market's 😕
Mysterious but one of the best sleepy lunch spots in the central city.
Weird spot still with some gems like Hemi, the game cafe etc.
Saturday markets are worth a visit for food and crafts. On other days there is a collection of boutique shops, interesting walk.
Good place market
Tidy inviting clean and happy in general. Delicious food clean toilet with interesting wall of fame.
Has clothes, food and art shops. Plenty of areas for new shops. The latest installment at Victoria park is a pop up kava bar, the only one in Auckland
Not the place it used to be, but some good new stuff slowly being added back in
Very nice and cosy place

Perfect place for tourists. Old chimney looks nice and good for photo.
Rather quite day with not much for sale.
Not like it used to be more office's but the Cafe Catch 22 is awsome
Not much shops in here as its just a mini version of market
Been here for Christmas night market; Indian food is nice!
Some good food but the area is still a work in progress.
