T.Came to Christchurch for a holiday and visited Bobabear yesterday.
Strong tea flavour, but I think it would be better if it was more creamy and had more milk flavour. Love the sugar levels here, I think normal sugar level you can still taste the strong tea flavour. I’m a tea lover too and I think the tea used by Boba bear was well chosen. I can’t judge your pearls as it was sold out, I personally find drinks at Bobabear a little bit more expensive but I can kinda understand why. The waffles smells great too and looks delicious, saw eco friendly cups as well. Nice shop! Will visit again next time I come to Christchurch.
Overall, I give Boba bear 4/5 stars (More creamy and milk flavour) I think would make it more better.
E.Customer service is fantastic. Service is quick and high quality. Tea is always fresh and the quality is high. Tapioca Pearl's are always cooked perfectly. All other topping options are well prepared. My go to order is a Lychee green tea with aloe vera, which they always pull off amazingly. Definitely a must visit if in the mood for bubble tea when in the riccarton area
M.My daughter had always wanted Boba Bear and ordered a Blueberry Milkshake. She loved it. Super tasty and great value for money. The staff were super friendly and polite. Thanks Boba Bear! We will be back for more soon.

E.I haven’t tried the food yet but the drinks are delicious. I always go for the strawberry milk tea with boba and is so so good. It has became my favourite treat. The boba is nice and flavourful and the milk tea has the perfect consistency and flavour. Is not too sweet, it’s just yummy 🤤
T.I come here often and am never disappointed, the milk tea is always delicious and has a nice texture to it, the tapioca pearls are always cooked perfectly and the food is also nice!

R.They are great for both food and bubble tea. I enjoy their popcorn chicken (the spicy version is very spicy though even if you like spicy food) and they always cook their tapioca pearls well. Their lychee green tea is very good.

N.This place is amazing. Yesterday I had a large hazelnut milk tea with bubbles from bubba bear and it was awesome. I had try every other bubble tea stores in Christchurch but I had never find a bubble tea that can beat ancestral teas❤️ Keep it up guys❤️❤️

s.This is a branch of the ancestral restaurant. Their wheel cake is a street food from Asia which they did quite authentically, the portion is decently big, texture is really nice, and they cook it right to the best, although a bit over priced, a wheel cake is from $6. Bubble teas are okay. The queues are a bit all over the place which can be better organised.
C.After a long time I have had the opportunity to drink a bubble tea and it was good, not the same great taste like in Taiwan, but still good. Sweats are also good.
