Always have a good selection of everyday items. Clothing, perfume, kitchenware, toys, furniture plus lots more. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of parking.

Personally, I do not like having to push my way through racks that are spaced too close together. The clothing is trendy and changes early with the seasons and the prices are reasonable. All Farmers shops seem to be set out the same so it is easy to find your way round.

Today my daughter and I went into the bra section for her. The lady (didn't get her name 🙄) blonde hair, was extremely professional and very patient. She felt my pain when my daughter would not get a fitting. The lady went in to check on her in the fitting room, as teens don't listen to their mothers. At the counter she offered to come in at some stage to get a fitting together, as I need one again. Her professionalism was outstanding and needs the staff of the month award. Outstanding service from Yi-Yen at The Palms tonight when I went to exchange several items of clothing my wife had purchased for me earlier today. Yi-Yen was really helpful in locating items for me and had an amazing manner and attitude. She made a task I was not looking forward to into a very pleasant experience

Fair pricing, good selection, lovely staff on lower floor. The only place in The Palms mall with clothing for kids in that 8-14 year type age range. Too big for cotton on kids, too small for hallenstein, this is it. Clearly poor management by the mall and leasing rep means can't get the vendors.

Lovely shop, I took my 90 year old father shopping to buy new clothing to wear in the rest home. The staff member who looked after us was very helpful and patient as it took a while.

I don't know why I was here normally the wife doesn't let me in this type of shop as I "mess around" or something similar. If they didn't want all the toys making noise in the shop don't make the try me button so accessible

Great service and range. Sales assistant was friendly and helpful. Store is clean tidy with a large range of products on offer. My only gripe with Farmers, and this is applicable to all their stores is that they have no clear walkways into or through the various departments. I appreciate that empty spaces are costing the company money. But for mobility impaired people navigating through the store can be difficult.

I shop at Farmers The Palms quite a lot and have a Club Card too. For some reason everytime I go in and go look in the Beauty Department I always have the same older lady (Dark Short hair, nice make up; usually always at the Perfume counter) pretty much follows me around the whole time I'm in that area and she won't go away unless another customer askes for help. I told her twice I was just looking and she didn't seem to leave me alone. I don't know if she is just trying to hang around incase I need help or is discriminating me but it needs to stop. The first time I dealt with her she was very helpful and pleasant to deal with but after many many times of going back in and her follow me it's very uncomfortable and not good customer service at all. The Beauty Department is literally the only Department I experience this, every other employee are nice and leave you to it. This is also the only store I experience this behavior from a employee in.

The store is well laid out. Bright, fresh and inviting. In fact i berated an Assistant saying it was her fault that i was buying, buying, buying. I'm very impressed with Farmers Fashion buyers. I bought a stunning classy dress for Mother of the Groom at a very reasonable price.

Personally I've always had pleasant shopping experiences here. Been here multiple times and it's still a great department store. Plenty parking and plenty of staff members to help you if need assistance. Farmers club cards are super handy too.

Staff are helpful and I always manage to get a good deal when they have a sale on. Liking the new $3 fabric bags you can purchase instead of a plastic bag. So if you forget to take a bag, or buy more than you were intending you can still reduce your plastic bag waste.

Sadly, I went into purchase a Estee Launder perfume, that said on the web site it was stocked at, The Palms Farmerd. However, No, no & no. The staff member in the perfume counter said they no longer stock this range and I would have to go to another site across the City. Really!!? How disappointing 😑

Staff around to help and help they did! A lipstick I needed and not only did she find it but told me it was no longer being made. So she looked up where else I could obtain the last of this particular colour in chch. Wrote down where to get it. Colours go blueish on me so I need a gold/ bronze colour to use 1st. And it works. I.E. orange stays orange.

They always have sales! Of course farmers is a little pricey but the sales make up for that. I wasn't too impressed with the Steven's staff, they followed me around like I was going to steal something. I'm guessing that's because I was dressed in Jean's, a hoodie and jandals but one should not be judged on apparence.

Love this place!! There is everything, cosmectics, vacuums, clothes, toys, children's toys and homewares.. I'm sure I have missed something. They are your one stop shop for everything you need for yourself and your house. Happy shopping.

Loved it. We went here the other day. The red dot sale was fantastic. My daughter got some Aotearoa NZ made denim shorts half of half price already. I got a jacket reduced from 59.00 to 26.00
