Store appeared tidy and organised. Just no option to be served by a real person. The one person on a till had a sign that stated 'only refunds and returns'. The product I wanted to buy had a scan code but no price. There was a large $14 sign above but there were probably 4 different products below it. I asked an assistant how much my item was. She said "well it won't be more than $14 because that's what the sign said". I couldn't see a price check close to check it. My item at checkout was $9. I find the no price on product frustrating .

Had the 2 items I wanted and back on the road .

If you ever need to return an item and you get lovely Rebecca - how lucky are you!!! Not only did she help me - she went out of her way to make sure I was completely happy with the outcome -wonderful service - thank you 😊

It is a cool shop I mean that all of what you want and stuff you don't want is in this shop. If you were starting a new house or flat Kmart has what you mite need also people you have room here to shop. 4 stars from me

A one-stop-shop! Great goods/products and good selection too! Service isn't exactly customer oriented but overall happy with general helpfulness.

Didn't find everything I wanted but what I did get was good. Had trouble getting assistance at the self checkout as were others and this was holding up the queue. Need more staff at checkouts

Not all the products that I needed was in stock. Would have been better off to just buy online and get them delivered.

Dislike the layout... feels like a sheep corral. Customer service is lacking. Deals are great. But there's random stock trolleys everywhere and price checkers are always faulty.

Great place, well stocked, I found some black pants for work that fit me perfect!!! I would have loved to have more time to shop here.

Great selection but things aren't all together like boys underwear and boys clothes had to ask where they were.

They offer variety of clothes and merchandises. Although the items in the store is A bit cluttered and messy. Their clothes are affordable and fashionable

Prices are usually good here Only critique would be for staff to pay attention to the clothing sections. Alot is untidy and clothes are in the wrong racks I do understand it's lazy and selfish customers who make a mess but it's the staff's job to ensure it's in order regardless

Store is getting a little tired now, a lot of stock looks like it's been dumped there or stick is missing. Could be a sign of the times but not place to just peruse.

Easy to find what I looking for, quick in and out. Really good store.

The shop wasnt as busy as I expected was reasonably well stocked, the changing rooms were a bit of a shambles but not particularly busy and although the checkout was busy staff were moving people through quickly and efficiently.

Love, love, love Kmart . I always walk in not planning to spend money and without a doubt I always find something I want. Something for everyone and usually pretty affordable .

Love KMart, but too many items aren't priced. Frequently running off to the price check machines. Still got loads of bargains. 😁

Good K-mart. Don't expect quality stuff, it's still a K-mart, but in a country where basically everything is easily overpriced, there is a 99% of chance that you will end up buying something in here every time you step in. Also, in a country where everything closes early, it is very nice having a K-mart always open for you till midnight 😊

Prices here are always good, and products are all of a reasonable, if not very good, quality. For me, though, as with every Kmart I've visited, clothing and footwear litter the floor where customers have obviously dumped them instead of returning them to the racks. Makes the store seem messy when it needn't have to be. That's the only real letdown and is certainly avoidable.

I've never liked their 'Only Self Checkout' business model, but they do have a few things The Warehouse doesn't.

Easy parking, helpful staff and a wide range of goods. Check outs aren't great but staff pretty onto it.

Great selection of items, basically anything you need could be found here! Downside is that the queues are sooooooo long and no bags to put items into! Items are strewn all over floors and needs to be more picked up and packed correctly. Shoes are all over the place 😲🙄 come on Kmart, get rid of all the chaos as it looks like a small earthquake has occurred and put things back inti their place to create a better looking and more structured store for your customets!

Purchased a kids' doctor playset- I was very pleased with the lack of plastic packaging! Asked for help finding another item. Was pointed to a general area, spent 20 mins looking no staff in that area (or the on rest of the shop floor apart from the checkouts).

A different layout confused at first. However it still has reliably well priced clothes for all the family.

I prefer going to this kmart then papanui as they have more stock Available :)

Good that the layout is similar to Bethlehem. Easier to navigate when your time poor.

Open at 8am, so you only can enter from the door of the mall on Riccarton road. Always some good choices here.

The staff is good and available to help you unlike other Kmarts were the staff just disappears as soon you need help. So keep returning here as feel welcomed.

I love Kmart, could walk around for hours. Good selection of baby clothes and toys, womens and mens clothes, shoes, camping gear, and things for the home. Good prices. Sometimes the line at check out can be long but it moves pretty quick as there are lots of tills. The bubbles for 70cents are awesome! Update with Covid. Only allowed 100 people in store at a time, the waiting line moves quickly

Standard Kmart, lacks a little with stock variety compared to some other stores but otherwise great spot to find whatever you need

Affordable prices for quality everyday items. It's always a joy going to Kmart. Had particularly great customer service from Daniel who was welcoming and more than happy to help with incredibly precise directions and knowledge.

Staffs were very helpful and every random items seems to be sold in the shop.

I misplaced my purse while in Westfield in riccarton. I thought I lost it in Kmart. When I went back to check if it was there the staff were really great in trying to find it. It was found but by a pack n save trolly boy. Many thanks to all tried to help.

Only 4 stars but otherwise excellent value. KMart had both automotive and kitset models for children. When I went in they were removed from the shelves. But I did buy fashionable soft leather ( real not PU) shoes for just $30. Plus the express scan checkout is easy to use. Just a nice store and has most things one needs especially in clothing etc. Back on 17/5/22 . Hadn't been able to get $8 Classic jeans. Rachel helped me find 2 pairs to go with the excellent Fair Trade Bangladeshi pair and in my size. That's Rachel. Blonde and a top person. Finds things. So 5 stars for above and beyond. Just BTW this is the only shop selling affordable smart bulbs. You can put them in a BC or ES light fitting and control the lightbulb by an included remote. Handy if you have an older home and can't afford to install a dimmer or smart home setup. No more getting out of bed or up from your sofa to start the mood lighting....so I've heard.

Amazing range of products at really good prices. I go here for nearly everything from duvets, cooking essentials, towels and cutlery to jeans and shirts. Great variety and excellent pricing.

A good store with a wide range of items such as clothing, toys, household appliances, bedding and footwear. Prices of most items are inexpensive, so this store is almost always busy. During my visits, I've found the store staff to be helpful in locating items. Customers need to bill the items themselves and payment options are either cash or card.

Not going to lie I still come here alot because it's close to home. How ever this store doesn't seem to keep the shelves well stocked or if things online say it's in stock, 70% of the time it won't be. Staff on the other hand are always willing to help and are always smiling when you need to approach them so that's a bonus.

It's got the well-known layout of Kmart that you find in Australia. I've been personally for men's clothing and fitness equipment and find that the prices are simply hard to beat and the quality is surprisingly good. The store is generally always clean and well spaced. The staff have always greeted with a friendly smile and leaving showing the receipt on the exit to confirm exiting has never been a fuss. Go K-Mart Riccarton. Ya done good.

Always a great selection of all you need. Large store with plenty on offer. Can get busy at times but very safe with covid protocols and such. Friendly staff from personal experience and you always leave with something handy. This location also has a "home" section where I always find something good for the house. Convenient location in Westfield mall so it is easily and readily accessable!

OMG! THE DEALS! Think of Kmart as the fancy Warehouse. The checkout being in the center was strange, though so many self service checkouts that it wasn't an issue. The fanciest shop to wear your pajamas to even still!

Shopping is fine as displays are definitive and hence, easy to find. Price check stations however are not as easy to locate. Payment counters very inconvenient to follow.

It's a large department store with the checkout in the middle. It's very full of stock and if you can't find anything there is no one to help you except the staff member at the front of the store where you came in.

This place is so busy. I don't like the lay out... the counters should be by the door. Kinder silly to place centre of shop .

Didn't spend alot of time here, just went in for a look. The shop was well lit and plenty of room between aisles made it easy to get around each department. Worth a longer visit when I have more time.

Went in the worst weather, parking really bad but persevered as had purchased their last in stock oven. Lines to cashier's long. Staff pleasant despite busy. Unfortunately unpacked oven at home and was crushed on the top. But needed it- it works fantastic!

The store looks messy and overcrowded. Stock is inconsistent. I find the storage solutions ideas are good, however the sizes or parts are inconsistently available. The clothes are drab and funny-fitting (with a nightie's collar so wide you can pull it up or down through it). Sports equipment is also inconsistently available and the quality of some items can be shockingly poor. Such is the case of the kicking ball that was destroyed in a week by a junior. The toys and games section is a good alternative for preschooler activities. I find the arts section is also sufficient for water based paints and pens. I keep k-mart as an option because when things don't go right they can be returned.

Cheap items some last long and some don’t.

Lots of stuff there lots of Lego and clothes the line was long but it moves quick so don't panic

Its a different Kmart to the one in the past. Smarter buyers and great bargains and quality. Cheap but without cheapness. Look for bargains and you will always find. I like Kmart Riccarton in Christchurch. Just got a lot of nice clothes for a fraction of the price elsewhere.

Seriously packed and very warm, yet the staff remain helpful, pleasant and in really good moods. There was a huge endless queue that moves faster than you could ever expect. I usually avoid malls at weekends so I was expecting the worst but totally survived it, with just a little patience and sweat.

I used to love kmart riccarton but when they changed the layout to have the checkouts self operated in the centre of the store it made it uncomfortabke and the queues are longer maybe understaffed or just terrible layout everyone loves a good kamrt shop but when the queue os so long i just leave the trolley and walk out i dont have the patience.

We came, we bought. Thought staff could care more about their products AND their vocation....

Huge store with a good selection of homewares, clothing etc. Lines are usually long but they move really quickly. The service is good. The only downside is that the clothes tables etc are often really messy which makes it hard to find sizes.

Health and beauty section always empty

Yip ok, just went into find a juice dispenser but none in stock. Kmart is always good for a bargain...but not his time!

As a store it is quite nicely laid out, though the checkout system is horrible as it is centre to the store rather than being near the exit, is difficult to view which self service tills are actually free, and is always tailed back. Waiting times around December are so awful I refuse to shop there which is a shame because I like the products. The online store doesn't even get a 1 star after last Christmas' fiasco.

Huge range of goods at bargain prices. Tha staff we met were eager to help us find what we were looking for. Unfortunately they had sold out of two of the items. Little wonder... their price for both was the best in the country. We still got a bit of shopping in though! Were just not used to malls that large! Anyway, the young man who helped look was very polite and well spoken and nothing was too much trouble, so thanks guys. We'll be coming back.

Always great to shop there great for good economical items to buy but when it's easy to get to the check outs earlier in the day the better I wouldn't bother going when later in the day unless you like standing in a long cue that would be my only criticism

A great store that has a number of things at a very affordable price. The only reason it's 4 stars and not give is that I wouldve liked a better selection of T-shirts. Other than that it's pretty good.

Good selection, though much if what we went in for was not in stock. Staff we're mostly nowhere to be seen, only saw one staff member other than checkout staff, at least they knew where to find what we needed.

I kinda love this place it's super cheap the clothes are reasonably basic but good quality and there is a fair range to choose from, for the price you cant beat it!!

There is a self-serving checkout that is quite busy and crowded. It is hard for customers to see if any of the checkouts are free so there is a lot of wasted time. But a great place to buy clothes for a great price.

Enjoyed the shopping here, however the check-out area is not customer friendly, don't like the layout. Having to queue up for 30mins for 1 item really tested my patience.

Mostly good except health and beauty section is not well stocked. Doesn't stock key name brands any longer. Counter service was quick and friendly too. You can do self-checkout also if your prefer.

Great store for party supplies and cheap toys. You can find little gems here like in there homewares department there you can find cheap groovy stuff for your house that looks great. Cool kids clothes!!

I can't give kmart less than three. But this kmart never has as much as the papanui one. I left without buying anything. Always clean and tidy.

Lots of empty shelves even when it's not Christmas. Being herded through the checkouts is not great. Pretty good pricing though and the girl behind the counter, who served me, was very pleasant and polite.

Kmart has a variety of items you can purchuse. However at times the shelves can be empty and its very crowded with long lines. I love a bargain when i find them such as super clothes discounts on discontinued items, they do go out the door very fast when they are bought in. It's a good place to come to for some cheap deals, but at the cost of specific items may not be avaliable. Always have a back up plan just in case.

Has some of the most affordable pet gear around. Our cat loves the $12 laser cat toy. Hunts it for hours, and now sits by it until it's switched on. Highly recommend. Also, very accommodating if something is faulty, and replaced same day.

It's nice to go shopping on Kmart they have everything I what I wanted very cheap I can't go anywhere else .what a bargain

Great cheap products, don't expect excellent service, in fact don't expect any service at all, except for the 'greeter' as you enter the store, but what are you expecting with these prices. Great to buy dog toys, as for the price it doesn't matter if Fido chews it up after 5 minutes, just be sure to buy more than one!

Our go to place for baby clothes. A great variety of options with prices that don't break the bank... and given how quickly the little ones grow out of their clothes, this is certainly a good thing! Lots of non-baby related items as well. Great place to go if you're looking to decorate an ordinary room and make it an extraordinary one ;)

Cheap and inexpensive store, can't really go wrong. However I wish staff kept the aisles clear more since there's a lot of boxes and clutter from time to time. Just saying it would be hazardous if an emergency were to occur.

Quick and Easy to locate what I need every time I pop in

Busy season for Kmart because of the Christmas. I brought two LEGO sets within five minutes but had to wait in the queue about 10 minutes. Most of customers looked surprised after seen length of the queue. I’m sure some left without buying any. I believe there should be a special counter for special people like pregnant mothers when busy. Can buy seasonal gifts, clothes, stationary and kitchen supplies cheaper compared to other places.

Good value clothes and other things. Nice bright open layout. But don't buy to much cause the robot checkouts are so bad for packing, it's such a hassle and the guards are always harrassing people proactively.

Kmart's are always great, but I find Riccarton often is low on/out of stock on the things I'm after. Still love shopping there tho 😊

Presentation, shelf stocking and general tidiness of the store: 2/5 the clothing department in particular is a complete mess 😬 Self checkout is great this time of year. Despite long lines shoppers get through quickly and staff help the process along.

Lots of cool stuff and you can find almost anything you need for the house for really cheap! The staff are generally very helpful. Sometimes stock can be scatered and put in the wrong place and as well especially in the show section they are all over the floor which sucks. Other than this issue I love going to Kmart. Who doesn't!

Despite the line being longer than the great wall of china, it moved surprisingly quick. Didnt take particularly long to get our cheap things we needed and get out. In and out as fast as possible. It's how apply my shopping and my sex life.

Great place to get dog toys, they carry the same toys for ages so when puppy finds one he likes and wears it out quickly I can just go and replace. The toys are cheap but decent quality so they last a while

Kmart is a great place for birthday goodies, lots to choose from to make any young child happy on the day! Really good prices and while there may be a queue to pay for purchases, it moves quite quickly

Great prices and varuety

Who doesn't love kmart. However, their stock levels can sometimes be a bit low and there is usually always a cue at checkout with machines out of order. If I REALLY am wanting something specific, prefer ordering it online as sometimes you just can't find it.

Pleasant place to shop. Wide variety of items. You sign in and the 2 meter distancing is well observed where possible. Prices of items are reasonable

I really enjoy Kmart for the variety of options and the affordable prices. The experience in store can vary depending what time of day you go. Off peak times (read: very busy post work or weekends) will see an easier in store experience with less customers; early morning you'll find the store still quite tidy but as the day progresses it becomes a bet messier which can be hard to navigate when looking for a particular item. The staff do their best to keep on top of it. Regardless of that, this Kmart is easy to get to with plenty of onsite parking and wheelchair access and is connected to array of other shops and food options being located in a mall.

Oh dear God please help me. I've been stuck in this kmart for weeks, lost count of the isles I've passed, all the thing I never knew I needed just blurring into the time stream, I'm floating away with four overflowing trolleys drifting into the void that once called itself my wallet, goodbye universe, if you see my partner tell her I've found the dog toysss......

Busy but great shop

Not a lot of stock on the shelves at the moment but still got the stuff we wanted.

This isnt a bad shop, great for getting simple no nonsense clothes and house products at really cheap prices. Prefer to go here rather than other retail outlets due to the fact that prices are always low and the arent having a 'once in a lifetime sale' every fortnight. Only downside is that it is I the mall and difficult to get a park on the weekend.

I hate serving myself and it's not layed out well, you can't see where each Dept is without walking round the whole shop, because of where the merchandise is positioned. Good quality Cheap items gets the 3 stars.

Busy, a little untidy. My main concern was with temhe volume of customers only one staff member was on self service. He was overwhelmed with assisting people, could have easily had 2 to 3 on to speed up purchasing.

Wide range of items at reasonable prices. We have a new puppy and we love to get his supplies here. Much more economical than big chain pet stores for the same items. Also bought bedside tables here recently, which are great. You can find almost anything here. The $3 for 3 pairs womans socks are a staple for me! They have a good selection of underwear and makeup too. They stock slf which is amazing as have to buy online otherwise!

Kmart..well well well the perfect place to run into people you know, even when you're all the way from a different town haha, anyway this Kmart was pretty good, has most the necessities i was really after some marvel lego and couldn't find a big range of lego but I think it might be just what they stock? Not entirely sure, but they definitely have the basics!!! I just am on the hunt for some Spiderman lego 😂

Cluttered. Trolleys or products stacked in aisles making navigation with pram or trolley a decisive venture. Areas inside are poorly signed, this may be a marketing ploy to enable you to buy unnecessary products, so you have to venture the entire store to find the singular item that your cranial list wishes to procure.

Better than the superstore in papanui to be very honest has better variety of pretty much anything

Plenty on offer great deals. The wife love's it, the shopping 🤤, dad not so much😜, constantly looking for the 3 year old daughter who can hide in any one of the bazillion hiding places available, but most likely somewhere near the dolls and barbie section. They could do with a dad's relaxation hub or even just some couches dotted around the store to chill out on😎

I love Kmart, would almost say I'm a fan. Always by far the best value for money and have so many great nick nacks for the home, kitchen, clothing, toy's, makeup etc. Something for everyone and it really is good quality stuff. Nothing is over priced, the lighting in store is always great & easy to find whatever it is you are after.

Kmart Riccardo always has good bargains, we were looking for baby shower presents and found some 🙂

Oh, how I love this place. It is so cheap and there is everything you could ever need, I give this 4/5 stars as the checkouts aren't in a good place and 95% of the time they are full. Still, its my favorite store. Thank Kmart!

I generally love Kmart but here the checkouts are in the centre of the store which makes no sense as you have to fight the store with your purchase to get them out the door. Also I picked up a single saucepan with no price and wS told that it was part of a set that I would have to buy if I wanted it. It took a while to get this answer at the self check out. Sales lady was very curt.

Their stock is so large you can usually get what you want at a good price

Coming from the US I was worried I wouldn't be able to find an equivalent to Target (or Walmart) and although KMart isn't quite the same it's a pretty solid option. The clothes are cute and relatively cheap. They have good household things (plates, utensils, appliances, etc.) They don't have a grocery area or pharmacy though. I've gotten some fairly nice/cute things here.

Very well set out Kmart. Has almost everything you would need for around home for quite a reasonable price. Always a good experience when I go here.

Cheap prices but cheap quality. Often out of stock of many items. Fine for short term budget conscious shoppers

Plenty of choice for cheap appliances and clothing, there's also party supplies, home and living and camping/outdoor/gym equipment

Nice big shop with all sorts of merchandise in it at reasonable prices.

...some pretty good bargains to be had here, although some are a bit "redshed" and tacky. Only score 3 stars as your checkout layout and the queues can be ridiculous at times. What were you thinking?🤔

Great value for your money but store is in a mess. Customers literally rummage through the items perhaps out of excitement or disrespect for the price tag. The staff is woefully small in number but doing their best. Great place to buy some good clothes.

This store has some very good bargains but you would think at Christmas they would have trolley availability. Went there on Monday and no trolleys in the storage area. Hardly saw one in the store, not so good when you are trying to lug everything around with you. You missed out on me spending quite a bit....

I typically can find what I am after when I shop here. The store was really clean and tidy and I didn't need to wait long to pay for my purchases.

A good and trendy selection of homeware and kitchenware that is so affordable that anybody can make their home look good. Toys, stationary, sporting goods you name it. All good priced and decent quality. One stop shop for anybody on a budget but also stylish enough for those who are not.

Great range of items for sale on this Department store ,many from their Australian stores and suppliers.

Reasonably priced and a variety of items to shop for. Staff are helpful. However a staff at check out sure knows how to roll her eyes if u ask for assistance twice!

Sick of baggy size 18. I squeezed into 16. Couldn't do up fly. Half hour at home walking in 16 BINGO can do fly up. WAHAU!!!!!

They offer u the lowest rates on many items witha warranty. They are open although the mall closes at 6pm. Mostly u would have to do a self checkout.

Well...Kmart is always awesome. This store is much organized and cleaner than the one in Dunedin so you're looking to buy clothes, undergarment, sports wear, home furnishings and accessories, this is the place!

Altho generally busier than the palms store has more variety of items as it's a larger store the wait for checkouts can be long at times but it's worth it it's Kmart I mean who doesn't like Kmart ??

Kmart is a great place for buying just about anything you need for your home. My partner and I just moved into a new flat are it's now proudly decked out in Kmart goods!

Great affordable department store with lots of range. Had everything I wanted and more. The only issue is that the lines are sometimes very long, but other than this Kmart Riccarton's great.

Lots of cheap items and very wide ranges of stuff. If your out of supplies (minus food) go there for the cheapest options. Only problem is shoes wear out really fast.

Check out is appallingly slow

Great price and good collection of stuff, not easy to find stuff around and not a lot of people around. However I guess it's justified by the prices.

Most of time the shelves are stocked, and the centre pay area is always extremely packed as it's all self serve, and like 2 checkouts which are pretty much never used.

One station for all the needs of a family. Good products at great price. We particularly go to this place for stationary shopping, this place have awesome stationary which normally you would be expensive.Their clearance stands are like cherry on the cake, you can really get some cool as bargains their.

Quick in and out to beat the crowds this time of year

Best place for shopping cloths and kids items. Good kitchen items are too. Tems for Home decorations are also available. There are good items for camping. Very reasonably priced.

Kmart is the shop everyone raves about and I go there frequently, it's rare I leave without purchasing something. This time was no different, although the shop itself felt different. Lots of sections were really chaotic with things opened, messy, in the wrong place, over the floor. I know this isn't the shops fault, but keeping it tidy makes for a better experience.

Kmart is always my go to for everything basically and I can almost always find what I'm looking for it's the best shop ever

Nice big shop but unfortunately the shelves are often empty. Even checking online about availability of an item in store is not always correct. But hey, gives you always a reason to come back! And you most certainly find things to take home that day you didnt think yoy needed 😁

Shelves full and plenty to choose from

Great for the essentials and great pricing. The store is open late and has a lot of variety. The only downsides are that there is only one person at the tills it is all automated. The store also gets very messy depending at what time you go to the store.

Pretty standard for a Kmart.

Head and shoulders better than about five years ago. They have a very cool design aesthetic and we kitted out our AirBnb with linen, cutlery, towel racks, matching plates, bowls and utensils for less than a side table from Freedom Furniture.... No brainer!

Stainless steel water bottle $7, Kathmandu torpedo7,Macpac--these guys were all at least $50 dearer for this item.Having said that some Kmart stuff is really good and some us just cheap and nasty.You be the judge

Best Kmart out! Open till midnight, has everything you need. Would of got a 5 star if the check out system was better! Sometimes u see the line and turn around and go back out! Always a wait

Best and cheapest homeware or regular needs store. Huge store with wide range of products. Needs to improve in their footwear. Toys are cheaper in the sale season. Always look out for a good clearance sale in winter wear. Confectionery always run out of stock and they don't replace it soon. Most shelves are empty.

Good variety store.

Ok place to shop. Often hard to find what you are looking for but they have a very wide selection of goods and generally competitively priced. Don't like the centralised check out system there was a long queue and you felt pressurized to get through the self service checkouts.

I like shopping here because they scored well in the Ethical Fashion Guide. The que can be a bit long for the self checkout though. They have a wide range of stuff too which is helpful

It has a very diversified selection of products in the store at a reasonably low price... and longer opening hours which is handy for people to shop after work.... Many checkout counters to expedite the paying process, which is great....

It's a Kmart but a big one.

Much better quality than the warehouse. Things are a bit more expensive than warehouse but the quality outweighs the extra price.

This store is still one of my favorites and if I had not lived in Auckland would have rated the store much higher. However, the stores in Christchurch feel a little bit abandoned by the company and lacked stock in what I was looking for for weeks on end. This compares unfavorably to the Kmart stores I used to go to in Auckland (St Lukes and Albany) that would have new stock in within a couple of days. I hope this will get better as Kmart are opening more stores in South Island.

Cheap prices for items that won't last past a year. Worth it if you go in knowing this. I found it hard to find a staff member to help me, I ended up going to the customer service desk and she pointed somewhere far off in the distance where my item was. A mini treasure hunt later, I found it. Can't complain though as it's what you pay for.

Really like this store. Usually a lot of choices and nice sales. Especially the basic (under) wear is nice and not so expensive. Most of the time the staff is willing and able to help with questions.

Dind it frustrating that items aren't priced nor are there always signs on the shelf. Still, got a good range of party supplies, which was thr purpose of my trip. (And diy checkout is nect to ompossible with kids!)

Kmart has so many great products at great prices. Always fun to have a look around. I continually go back for the fabulous lip balm.

Empty shelves were a surprise. Signage is good. Would prefer to use staff for inquiries. Light and bright and clean.

Good place to shop for cheap kids clothing, self checkouts cool, signage not great a little hard to find stuff. Rather messy in some departments not sure they have enough staff to keep it organised.

Kmart Inside Riccarton Mall is an ok place for buying just about anything you need for your home, as a friend said, Very much like The Warehouse, way under staffed at busy times at the checkout. Open daily 8.00am till 12.00am.

I could absolutely live in Kmart, cheap but nice clothing, always have new item's coming through which is nice since im always at Kmart, dont go on weekends around 10am-6pm always super busy which can lead to an unpleasant experience, ivd find week days the best so i can quietly enjoy roaming around.

Quite a decent place to get most household stuff. Quality is OK, not supreme, but you get good stuff for what you pay.

Kmart you are changed some of what you sel. So confusing not the cheap, quality band stuff anymore..becoming like there warehouse

Have a really good array of goods but I find the single queue checkout arrangements daunting especially when the queue is huge much preferred the old set up where it felt like you were a valued customer

Pretty good. Got a good searching on exit by a eager gloved little woman. Pretty sure she worked there.

What can you say about K mart most of their stock is good, prices are reasonable, no real customer service and there central checkout does not work always queues tonight was very long , alot of the time some of the self service units dont work

So hate the big queues and if you want one item it's not worth the wait. Does have some great buys though.

For basics, KMart is a much underrated store. I was looking for a range of pet accessories for a new puppy and was really impressed with the range and competitive price of what was on offer.

Kmart is awesome overall but they do how ever need to up their style in clothing both men and women.

just brought a pair of shorts for twelve dollars fit perfectly. shorts at other shops in riccaton mall wante $ 30 to $ 60 that didn't fit properly. so good score there.😊

The store is well stocked and merchandise is easy to find but definitely need more check out staff during the holiday season. Otherwise a lovely store.

Good value for money with plenty of variety, required assistance to find an item on their website but not easy to find help, person who did assist was very helpful, staff are very polite, just wish they had more customer service support on the floor.

Great service. They didn't have the item we wanted on the shelf but they sent someone to have a look out the back and managed to locate one for us.

It's an alright store. But never normally has exactly what I am looking for. The layout is a little messy and the lines for check outs are also an issue some times.

If you don't mind queuing to pay then Kmart is a great place to browse and pick up some interesting things for the home at bargain prices. Unbelievable

A huge supermarket with all the stuff needed for living. The layout was good to walk around. However, the prize was not so reasonable

Very unorginised took 1hour to find a few gifts for a birthday however was pleased to see a rubbish bin and helpful staff member shame on those of you who leave your rubbish on the shops shelves .

You can buy nearly every type of item from this store and its always cheaper. If you can't find what you are looking for just ask any staff member they will help you.
