I coordinate a charitable community knitting project and was looking for a care label we could sew to our blankets. Looking online, I found SewIt who are based in Christchurch, and found exactly what I was looking for: custom, high quality labels. Chris and Campbell have been incredibly supportive of our project and are lovely to deal with (Susan too). Although communication can sometimes be a little slow, they are always helpful, friendly and generous, and their products are just as they are advertised.

Sew It provide great advice and exceptional service. I ordered a couple of items online at 5.50pm on the1st December from their business in Christchurch, it was shipped on the 2nd and delivered to me here in the very Far North before lunch on the 3rd. It doesn't get any better! Also, I do appreciate their little hand-written notes on the consignment note in the parcel - such a lovely personal touch!

Great products and fantastic service! Sew It sells specialist, hard-to-find sewing and pattern making accessories. You know those handy things that you don't strictly need but wish you had and won't regret buying when you do. My purchase included a quality pattern notcher and gadgets for adding seam allowances to patterns. I'm really glad I found Sew It and will be back.

Ordered some accessories for my Brother scan n cut and from the time I ordered them to delivery Christchurch to Auckland less than 3 days. I was amazed as my timing must have been perfect. I ordered a Singer Heavy Duty machine online. I was a bit nervous ordering such a large item without seeing it. There was a delay with them coming into the country but Sew It kept me well informed of ETA. I was able to pay it off before it arrived which was a great help. Its was delivered at no extra cost which was great as it saved me a trip from Ohoka into Christchurch. I would definitely recommend Sew It. Very happy with my purchase!

I just recently ordered some Janome machine feet in the sale, all for different sewing techniques, unbeknown to me I'd ordered feet that were suitable for different machine models. I received a call from Sewit asking what model machine I had as the parts may not be compatible. The lovely lady called me back and said for one of the items I'd need a different model foot, and instead supplied me with the one I needed for my machine. The customer service is absolutely amazing, I don't know of anywhere else that would go out of their way to call you and make sure the order was right before sending them, all the ordering was completed online and I was not expecting anyone to call and help me out like this. I was stoked when the feet arrived this morning, after speaking with them just yesterday. And they all fit! I highly recommend using this company for your sewing machine needs! I will be using again!

I live 5 Hours drive away from this shop and not experienced with on line shopping. So being very nervous rang the Sewit.co.nz up and made inquiries up about purchasing a new embroidery machine. Since I have bought my embroidery machine the staff at "Sew it" have been fabulous! I got to use the machine instore for 4 hours before I decided it was the one I wanted. They not only have everything I want when I want it (not need want) they are available for advice/ assistance by phone or computer chat as well as in store. Nothing is too difficult for them. They even help research for other products as needed. Customer service to the max!!

I had been thinking about buying a coverstitch for a while and when Campbell easily demonstrated the Janome Coverpro on five of my most challenging fabrics I was totally sold! Whether you are a senior sewist looking for a top machine, a beginner starting out or somewhere in between I’d highly recommend these guys.
