Amazing service from one of the Tech girls there! Ran round the store trying to help. Terrible service from another sales rep that was talking on the phone before during and after helping me. Telling his friend he needs a minute, very rude while helping a customer

Great service when we went in. Had an amazing sales rep (Gilbert) who went above and beyond to get us the items we wanted. Allowing us to trial all the beds we needed to, entertaining our youngest kids while we did so. He was patient and extremely helpful throughout our time there. We had possibly the best customer experience I've ever had with Imran when choosing our new bed and pillows. He is incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to ask all the right questions, and explain everything to us so you really understood what you were paying for and why. If you are looking for a new bed but don't even know where to start, he's your guy!

Good sized selection of things often a few dollars cheaper than the other retailers when on special. Purchased a fridge, it was installed and the old fridge taken away in a matter of days. The store feels like it caters to the 1990s rural farmers crowd but they are moving towards today's trends. The Smith City at The Colombo feels more fresh. The staff a little predatory, and will circle around you trying to be helpful.

If you choose to collect your online order from the store, make sure you use the customer carpark with the entrance on Colombo St. (opp. South City mall), not the main one on Dundas St. There's no clear signage of where "Click & Collect" is in store and it took me more than 10 mins finding a staff in store who's able to give direction on where to collect my order. The man working at the Dispatch area was very friendly though.

Not a big mall but it has a sufficient choice of shops. Absolutely love the Japanese bakery. We also like to enjoy the ice cream or coffee while our little one playing in the indoor playground. Good spot and easy to keep eyes on her while we having some peace and quiet time. Any mall has a warehouse is a bonus - great to kill time there. Bubble tea shop is a must go place for us too.

Staff are unhelpfull and stuck up, and lead u to buy things you dont need ,but the products they sell are good, and they always have what u need, reliable ,trustworthy items are sold here , quality over quantity... Shop had a huge variety of furniture however some sales people like to harass in stead of us coming to them when we needed help or had questions.

Use smiths city frequently and have easily spent $20,000 or so over the last year. Most of the guys we have used have been super awesome given discounts and been polite. Every now and again we dealt with a guy called Lyndon who sort of insulted us each time we went in. The purchase of a bed we were told we needed a heavy duty bed because we are heavy people. As if we dont know that but thanks. Also told a couch would last 6 months with people our size. I weigh 98kilo, partner a bit more. We werent even asking for a couch. This was two separate occasions we came in and were insulted on weight and we are supposed to want buy from him? Happy to use anyone else. We also waited 4 months for a couch to arrive and then ended up taking the floor model because we werent going to have ours by xmas.

Smith City may not have the volume and variety of product that Harvey Norman do but when it comes to personalised customer service without the sales pressure...product knowledge and a family based atmosphere they beat any store. They also stand behind their products if faulty. Don't go anywhere else if you want to be looked after.
