They are well set out and the shop is clean and tidy
Staff are excellent and helpful and of course what everyone wants to know the prices are very reasonable

P.Steadfast Books has a wide selection of books, carefully curated. It includes rare and old New Zealand publications, classic English literature, and a good range of technical books. And history, military, art, religion, music, you name it. For the literary-minded who struggle with the actual job of reading, there are thousands of comics and recordings of films and television-genre stuff. All with a polite and knowledgeable proprietor.

T.Great shop, warm and welcoming. It's really well organised, with diifferent genres of books and each section is clearly labelled. There is a wide range of books and DVD's to suit most tastes. I managed to pick up a large hard back cover book in the music section of a classic band, which was in really good condition and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

There is an amazing selection of books to suit any reader! If you are looking for a book on any subject I would definitely recommend visiting this place first. Everything is fairly priced, the books are in amazing condition and the service is spectacular. My partner and I have this place to thank for finding books we couldn't find anywhere else. 100% deserves this 5* review and will definitely be making weekly trips to discover more wonderful books.

R.It's great to have a great second hand bookstore in the local area. Steadfast has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and an amazing selection of all sorts of books and DVDs. The proprietor is always open for a chat and helpful with finding or looking out for things. Highly recommended, even if you're not looking for anything in particular you're bound to find something.

R.There is no atmosphere here unfortunately. On a cold wet day bookstores should have a little something. Just a room full of books and while the gentleman replied to questions, it wasn't an overly welcoming vibe. Looking through the books hearing loud radio ads and talk instead of nice mellow music. Found what I was after but not somewhere I could stay all day and browse.
