Jamie did my bridal alterations for my wedding. She was fantastic! Her attention to detail meant the dresses fit perfectly and all seams say perfectly. She was also able to provide the groomsmen shirts which were great quality and were extremely breathable for a Central Otago summer. Would 100% recommend her for you bridal alterations ♥️

Jamie created the most magnificent dress for my special day that hugged all the right places and felt elegant, vintage, unique and comfortable all at once. Jaime Richards from Margaret Wray Bridal knows her stuff. I was so impressed, in my first consultation with Jaime I got to try on her wedding dress range and then because I didn't know what I wanted she asked me to show her images of what I liked, she picked up the trends instantly and then was able to go away and sketch ideas based on the things I was attracted to in photos or things in my wardrobe that I know suit me. She had amazing insight into my personal style and helped me talk about what I was looking for even through I did not know what I wanted to wear on my wedding day and couldn't describe my own personal style she picked that up instantly through her process. What I found really reassuring was that you are able to see the dress before it is finished, once you have picked the top design and the material that suits your colouring and dress design she will make a cotton sample for you to try on as a trial run of the design. Jaime makes deciding what you want a fun and easy process. I trusted her instantly because of her earlier career in clothes design and bridal design in London and Melbourne. If you are looking for a vintage inspired dress and live near Otago or are getting married in the South Island Jamie has her range of her own vintage dresses that you can try on and she is very talented in designing bespoke gowns if you want your own unique dress for your day.
